Epigraphia 3D. Un proyecto de innovación científica en la divulgación del patrimonio epigráfico de Hispania

Los avances experimentados en los últimos años en las tecnologías basadas en el procesamiento de las fotografías digitales, permite abordar proyectos de modelización 3D de inscripciones romanas, como el realizado en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional (Madrid). La utilización de esta tecnología innovadora aporta a los especialistas mejores reproducciones que la fotografía convencional, que supondrán un enriquecimiento de las bases de datos epigráficas, pero su utilidad se extiende también a la propia enseñanza de la Epigrafía.

Recursos de Epigrafía y Numismática en Internet: balance actual y perspectivas en España

Este artículo pretende realizar un análisis crítico de los recursos sobre Epigrafia y Numismática disponibles en los servidores web de las universidades y centros de investigación españoles. Además, este trabajo plantea varias propuestas para lograr, en un futuro próximo, que los grupos de investigación, departamentos universitarios y centros de investigación que imparten docencia y/o investigan sobre estas materias centren sus esfuerzos en la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías, tanto en los irabajos de investigación que llevan a cabo, como en la formación de los futuros investigadores.

Unidades organizativas indígenas del área indoeuropea de Hispania III: Addenda

[EN] This article analyses the new names, repeated and non-repeated names being both included in similar fashion, of indigenous units of organization (cognationes, gentes and gentilitates), discovered back in the 90’s (20th C.). These names are mentioned in the Latin and Celtiberian inscriptions from Indo-European Hispania.

Nuevas investigaciones en torno a los grabados rupestres del Barranco de Balos (Agüimes, Gran Canaria)

[ES] Thirty six years have happened since A. Beltrán carried the first study out in depth of the archaeological area of the Massif of Balos. A study that adheres strictly to this emplacement, without never one alludes to the cultural context of these representations or to the existence of other sets in the same space. The recent studies have made clear not only that the Lomo de los Letreros is not the only rock existing station in this territory but in the same one there is located a nourished representation of places that award to this place an unusual interest to realize an approach to the meaning of this pre-hispanic engravings.

Producción e impacto de las instituciones españolas de investigación en Arts and Humanities Citation Index (2003-2012)

[EN]This essay reviews both the scholarly output and impact factor of Spanish research institutions in the Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) database, managed by the Thomson-Reuters Web of Science. Based on a bibliometric analysis of a range of variables it has been possible to identify those institutions with the best performance indicators, the journals publishing the most articles, the most productive areas of research, and other relevant data on publishing patterns in the Humanities. The study reveals that the most productive Spanish institutions in the Humanities are the same as those that lead the performance figures in other areas; it also highlights the outstanding production of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
