O volume, organizado pelo professor Danilo Rothberg, re��ne artigos de docentes e pesquisadores de p��s-gradua����o das ��reas de ci��ncias humanas e sociais que buscam esclarecer a����es que envolvem a comunicação desenvolvida por atores sociais a fim de ampliar os espa��os democr��ticos. A maior parte dos artigos s��o de autoria de docentes da Unesp e tratam de temas relacionados �� comunicação via Internet e de sua aplica����o em iniciativas pol��ticas e de intera����o de inst��ncias de poder com o p��blico. Mas o livro ainda discute outros meios, como r��dio e televis��o, al��m da comunicação organizacional. A obra procura aplicar o conhecimento cient��fico no campo da comunicação desenvolvido nas universidades �� realidade do Brasil de hoje. Diante do quadro de constante inova����o das formas de se comunicar observado nos ��ltimos anos, os autores contribuem para superar um cen��rio de aparente falta de informa����es sobre as realiza����es pol��ticas e de gest��o do setor.

Sistemas suplementares e alternativos de comunicação nas habilidades expressivas de um aluno com paralisia cerebral

The objective of this research was to describe the use of an augmentative and alternative system for a student with cerebral palsy during intervention. A 10-year-old male student with cerebral palsy participated in this investigation. He attended special classes for people with disability in a public school in a city of the interior of Sao Paulo. The scheduled activities were carried out twice a week for two years at the Laboratory of Special Education of a public University of S��o Paulo. All of the tapes describing the activities that were filmed during the assessment and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication resource were watched and described using a specific protocol. Based on the information from the protocols, the sessions with intervals greater than 20 days and the ones with activities involving the communication board with the time equal or greater than 20 minutes during the first year of intervention were selected. The chosen sessions were transcribed in full and, after analyzing the text, the following categories were established, according to the stated goal: the graphic system helped the student with utterances of vertical structure (56%) associated with the oral (14%) and non-oral and non-verbal form (30%), while the use of the graphic system along with other forms collaborated to enhance statements, enabling better understanding of the child s intention. The use of augmentative and alternative communication systems provided the expansion of effective dialogical situations for the student during the activities carried out in speech therapy.

Rela����es Eficazes: a import��ncia da comunicação eficaz nas organiza����es

This project aims to study and verify the importance of effective communication in contemporary organizations, considering current factors such as globalization, new technologies and market competition that make companies be always updated. The choice of the theme is due to the necessity to know that it is important to have an integrated communication between the employees and the customers, so that the established functions in the organizations occur positively. In this context, we present the concept of management, communication and organizational culture, focusing on the integration of business communication. The importance of the employee was also a focus of the study, involving the positioning of organizations. In this context, the case study is placed, considering that companies are characterized by carefully reading the feedback and reformulating the communication, making it effective as ���Grendene��� has done. Opposing to those ideas is ���Terra��� company. Thus, the project defends the importance to work on the communication, so that it becomes effective. During the project ways and means to manage communication are shown, so that it recognizes this need and become efficient, benefiting organizations and their audiences

O ensino da matem��tica aos deficientes auditivos

The theme of this research is mathematics education for the deaf. It is hoped that this work will enable more thorough understanding of the subject matter, since, to be inclusion of people with hearing disabilities in society is necessary to establish measures ranging acceptance and family participation to break prejudices and demystification related learning ability of these individuals. This research also aims to provide grants for teaching mathematics to deaf , so that the teacher can build a current pedagogical practice that will not only meet their expectations as a teacher , but above that encourages the development of skills essential to the competence of the student with special educational needs . An educational practice based in the communication and interaction between teacher and students, with the intention of providing an effective meaning of mathematical knowledge, you can add new possibilities in an educational context marked by scarcity of communicative opportunities

Contribui����es �� an��lise de qualidade do jornalismo na comunicação p��blica digital

Scientific research has shown remarkable advances in the formulation of criteria for assessing the quality of journalism practiced in the commercial media and public broadcasting, comprising aspects such as management models, business principles, parameters to the assessment of results and exercise of social responsibility. However, there are fewer investigations on the practice of journalism in digital public communication formats explored by government web portals. The contribution of this paper lies in a proposal of elements for the construction of parameters for evaluating the quality of journalism in the digital public communication. The proposal is inspired by criteria for evaluating the quality of commercial media and public broadcasting and suggests means for its application in the journalism practiced in the context of government web portals.
