El área de gestión de la información y del conocimiento como frente de investigación en la Ciencia de la Información brasileña: análisis de la producción científica en el período 2000-2009

The management of information and knowledge has been one of the areas of expertise of the fastest growing Brazilian information science. The purpose of this work is to observe how this research front structure from the point of view of the subjects that compose and intellectual frameworks which supports. For this we have analyzed the content of scientific production published in four majo r national journals of the discipline: Ciência da Informação, DataGramaZero, Perspectivas em Ciência da Informação and Transinformação over 2000-2009. The methodology is based on co-occurrence analysis of keywords of articles and co-citation analysis of authors. For the representation and interpretation of the results are used to social network analysis (SNA). We conclude that both information management and knowledge management are closely linked areas within topics including approaches but no consensus answer from the point of view of intellectual frameworks referenced.

Indicadores de produção científica na concepção teórica da indexação: uma análise bibliométrica do periódico The Indexer

In the context of university libraries, optimization services, streamlining processes and consistency of processing and organization of informational content are strongly influenced by the indexing policy adopted by the information system. This discussion has proposed to perform a theoretical and methodological research on the subject cataloging in order to contribute to the definition of indexing policy elements in medical university library. To achieve our objective, we applied three instruments: Organizational Culture, Individual Verbal Protocol and Evaluation of Indexing. Considers the importance of developing an indexing policy for improvements in processes and services offered by university libraries, as well as the retrieval.

Limitações do paradigma científico hegemônico no acolhimento ao sofrimento psíquico na atenção básica

O problema que motivou a realização do presente trabalho foi a dificuldade em se acolher o sofrimento psíquico nas unidades de atenção básica. Neste trabalho, investigamos se esta dificuldade se deve à inadequação epistemológica do paradigma hegemônico. Realizamos uma revisão de literatura e analisamos a utilização do termo paradigma na produção científica brasileira recente. Após busca pelas palavras-chave paradigma e medicina e seleção prévia, foram escolhidos 17 textos. A análise foi feita em duas etapas: análise linguística e levantamento da temática emergente. Levantamos as cinquenta palavras mais frequentes e as agrupamos em comunidades de coocorrência, utilizando o algoritmo de Clauset. Os textos discutiam as ideias de Kuhn e trouxeram tanto experiências inovadoras já implantadas em unidades de saúde quanto exemplos de mudanças curriculares nos cursos de medicina. A promoção da saúde aparece como um novo e promissor paradigma para a saúde.

Ética, preconceito e educação: características das publicações em periódicos nacionais de educação, filosofia e psicologia entre 1970 e 2003

Apresenta um estudo bibliográfico referente ao tema ética e preconceito no âmbito da educação escolar em periódicos nacionais das áreas de educação, psicologia e filosofia a partir da década de 1970 até o ano de 2003. No total, foram categorizados e analisados 570 textos. Constatamos que, especialmente, nas três últimas décadas, houve uma preocupação, por parte dos pesquisadores, com questões éticas e a problemática da diversidade e suas relações com a educação escolar. Percebemos, também, que algumas revistas científicas se destacaram por apresentar um maior número de produções científicas publicadas com o tema e no período que compreende este estudo. Além disso, a maioria dos trabalhos realizou estudos teóricos e pesquisas bibliográficas em detrimento às pesquisas empíricas. Foi elaborado um índice dos textos pesquisados que, juntamente com o material coletado, funcionará como banco de dados para pesquisadores, ligados a diversas áreas do conhecimento, que possuam interesse em estudar o tema ética e preconceito e seus diversos subtemas.

Considering knowledge organization and representation as a theoretical line used by Information Science to face the subject approach to information, in a dialogical relation with subject cataloguing, indexing and “analyse documentaire”, this article carries out a domain-analysis of Scire journal (1995-2010) in order to identify the scientific production in the mentionned theoretical lines as well as their relationships. Scire constitutes an environment where members of the different paradigms have found an space to relate each other.

El ámbito temático: un análisis de dominio de las conferencias nacionales y regionales de ISKO (Brasil, España y América del Norte)

This article is the result of a domain analysis of the articles published in the congresses of ISKO in Brazil, Spain and North America, aiming at identifying the themes and scientific collaboration characteristics, as an input for future studies on research trends and promoting the growth of the participation in each community. So it was characterized as an exploratory research focused on the analysis domain. The results showed that the Brazilian, North American and Iberian ISKO Chapters have been building a large space of scientific production with some convergent subjects like the epistemological questions, but also considering the regional specific ones. In this vein, the presence of researchers in the three studied academic spaces reveals a concern on establishing dialogical basis in KO research, whose main research institutions are São Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil), University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM, United States) and University Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M, Spain), which have deeply intensified their collaboration in joint publications.
