Estudo da Localidade e “Cidadania”: uma análise do discurso oficial dos Parâmetros Curriculares de Geografia

O discurso oficial transmitido pelos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN’s), em especial os PCN´s de Geografia, tem incorporado diversos termos e expressões provenientes do discurso acadêmico que tratam do fenômeno educacional. Se, por um lado, tal constatação pode demonstrar atualização e comprometimento com as formulações teóricas atuais, sob outra perspectiva, exige atenção. Os termos “democratização do ensino” ou “educação para a cidadania”, que antes eram mais afeitos ao discurso de oposição às políticas públicas para o setor, na atualidade foram tomados como discurso oficial, como se ambos os discursos tivessem um mesmo significado. Considerando que as prescrições programáticas de conteúdos buscam criar normas relativas a certas diretrizes de políticas educacionais e, também, determinar perspectivas pedagógicas, a forma como estão apresentadas abrem a possibilidade de veicularem conceitos, códigos e expressões que passam a ser elementos centrais do discurso pedagógico de instituições, sem que seus significados práticos ou teóricos recebam uma análise mais profunda entre os agentes envolvidos no trabalho da escola.

Considering the relevance attributed to the research practice during and after the undergraduate studies and the constant difficulty found by beginner researchers in this production, this article aims to analyze undergraduate students'experiences of reading and production of texts. For this purpose we applied a questionnaire to undergraduate students in the Linguistic Course of a public university from the southeast of Brazil, in order to observe, through a qualitative analysis, how these experiences contribute to the inclusion of students into the academic community and to their development as teachers/researchers. The research uses, as theoretical embasement, the literacies and textual genres concepts.

O discurso do uso de animais nas pesquisas de Educação Física

It is possible in many countries, perhaps all, there is business groups of pharmaceuticals industry, cosmetics together with the universities that use animals in scientific research and testing for the creation of new products and medicines. Currently is growing discussion about standards and criteria for the use of these animals (guinea pigs) and also increases the number of debates on ethical issues in research with animal models. This research seeks to portray the reality of the use of animals in scientific research academic at the University, specifically to research in physical education, as it has used animals in the areas of Physiology of Sport and Physical Activity, Nutrition for Athletes, among others. Initially is shown the pre-reflection, exposing the laws governing the subject, treating the animal experimentation with regard to its history and the issues of speciesism and the methodological mistake. It reveals what it is and as is the use of animals in education and the inability of the student to change that reality, to refuse to participate in the cruel activity, and even they are aware of their rights as in the case of the withdrawal of consciousness. Presents researchers and universities not use animals and ends the pre-debate showing Who is really the most animal research at the university by providing alternatives for them. We conducted a literature survey on animal experimentation, research universities, and alternative methods. The following is the phenomenon in understanding and awareness of the researchers who use animals in their research, conducting a phenomenological analysis of his speeches, revealing the meanings of their animal research. The focus of this study is, therefore, the analysis of discourses of researchers who carried out research using animal experiments (guinea pigs). Práticas de leitura e escrita em contexto acadêmico: relações (hiper)textuais singulares

The present article aims at reflecting about the discursive practices of writing and reading on the net, more specifically about the writing and reading methods used by the undergraduate and graduated teachers, based on an internet search engine. It’s of interest to investigate: i) the (hyper) textual relations established in the context thought as permitted by the electronic resources; ii) the discursive marks that arise (are arisen) in a singular way of reading (and/or writing). The set of material was produced during a university extension course about reading and cyberspace, whose context consisted of a drawing production of the reading process on an internet search engine, on the basis of the signifier “apple”. Based on the French Discourse Analysis and assumptions from the New Literacy Studies, we intended to discuss the operating procedures of the internet search and the effects of meanings produced by the subject during his/her reading/writing process.

Relações entre gênero e escola no discurso de professoras do ensino fundamental

The school and its teachers have great responsibility in the formation of gender identities. Ten teachers of a public schools participated in a semi-structured interview for the analysis of the content. The teachers perceive gender relations among the students, by their behaviors in the classroom: how quickly are the boys and the whim of the girls, the choice of colors and academic performance distinguished. They also have a concerned about the supposed homosexuality of some boys. The justification on perceived gender differences in students were assigned to the influence of family and to the reproduction of hegemonic standards of gender. Most teachers believe that school has little responsibility in gender issues, highlighting the poor training they had to work with sexual education of their students.
