The current concern with environmental issues by the scientific community, governmental and civil society also brings out the need to recover, preserve and conserve the environment. With this understanding, this work was prepared, which had as one of the main objectives of the historical process of land use and occupancy of the Pontal, since the nineteenth century to the present day. From this, the changes were evident in the types of land use, which rose from native forest to plant crops (permanent and temporary crops) and later as pasture. Through this process of occupation, exploitation of forests and replacement even three, Reserves being brought from the Far West Paulista, through the state government of Sao Paulo, they were almost decimated. Such areas decreed by law to be preserved and conserved, with the rampant occupations, were suffocated by the fakes and illegal occupation of land tenure contracts, leaving the region currently only a few forest fragments and protected areas of State Park Morro do Diabo, PRNP Boa Vista and Ecological Station Black Lion Tamarin. Furthermore, the article emphasizes the main legislation being developed by federal and state levels aimed at protecting natural resources and the effectiveness they had with the passage of time, demonstrating that the conservation of the environment, has several contributions in the law, however, and they are so vast that hinder its application.

With the evolution of the organizations theory, new management practices have transformed the institutions. The improvement of these management practices in cultural unities (UCs) is constant, and interacts in the international axis, since each unity increasingly communicate with other. As a reflection of organizational administrative practices, UCs had developed and assumed the organizational theories to make easy a framework for effective management practices. Comprehending the importance of the studies on UCs requires both a new approach of existing public politics for this field, and the recognition of the Information Science knowledge on area. In this way, it was planned to develop a model constituting a tool for managers in these institutions through the experience of laboratory works carried out with researchers from the European community. Libraries and museums are institutions that operate in the social process of their communities and the archives establish their structural spaces in parallel with the political, economic and social environments of the communities, translate the society and its organic sphere of informational performance. The information transposes a cyclical and essential role for the arrangement of the effective and necessary record to the organizational process and the institutional growth. Studies of this nature contribute to value a economy based on knowledge, and its production emphasizes the human capital that permeates the condition of the information in support for the development of communities and the growth of the organizational environment in political, social and cultural spheres.

Em decorrência dos crescentes problemas ambientais e da perda de biodiversidade, diversas discussões tem ocorrido em todo o mundo com o objetivo de criar estratégias que solucionem ou minimizem tais problemas. O estabelecimento de áreas de proteção consiste em uma das estratégias já consagradas entretanto, sua concepção como ilhas isoladas tem se apresentado cada vez mais ineficiente. Reconhecendo as inter-dependências dos processos ecológicos, que se apresentam em diferentes escalas, tem crescido a concepção de gestão territorial integrada para as áreas de proteção, nas quais o manejo dos recursos naturais consideram, igualmente, a preservação da biodiversidade, o incentivo ao desenvolvimento sustentável e a valorização das dimensões sociais. Dentre os instrumentos propiciam a gestão integrada dos recursos naturais, tem-se os mosaicos de UC. No Brasil, os escassos remanescentes de Mata Atlântica representam áreas de grande preocupação ambiental, uma vez que estes ainda abrigam considerável parcela da biodiversidade mundial. O continnum ecológico de Paranapiacaba é um dos maiores e mais importantes remanescentes de Mata Atlântica e é composto por diversas UCs. Diante deste contexto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar as possibilidades e limites de uma proposta de criação de um Mosaico de UC na região deste continuum ecológico. Para tanto documentos diversos foram analisados e foram realizadas entrevistas com os gestores das UCs e com os moradores dos bairros localizados no entorno destas UCs. Percebeu-se que a relação entre os moradores do entorno e as UCs ainda precisam ser estreitadas, a fim de tornar estas UCs espaços de relevante interesse e utilização para os moradores auxiliando na resolução dos conflitos existentes. Os gestores entrevistados apontaram diversas vantagens da gestão integrada e acreditam que no continuum ecológico de Paranapiacaba existam diversos fatores favoráveis

Nas florestas Neotropicais, os mamíferos podem desempenhar papéis importantes como predadores e/ou dispersores de sementes, polinizadores, frugívoros, folívoros ou até mesmo predadores de topo e, por isso, são importantes para a manutenção e regeneração das comunidades biológicas. Os objetivos deste trabalho foram: (i) realizar um levantamento da diversidade de espécies de aves e mamíferos cinegéticos no PETAR, (ii) estimar a abundância relativa, densidade, biomassa e tamanho populacional das aves e mamíferos mais avistados, (iii) comparar a diversidade e abundância das espécies estudadas em dois núcleos com diferentes pressões antrópicas. A área de estudo esta localizada na Serra da Paranapiacaba, que é a segunda maior área protegida do estado de São Paulo, possuindo mais de 125 000 ha, onde quatro Unidades de Conservação estão conectadas (Parque Estadual Turístico do Alto Ribeira, Parque Estadual de Intervales, Parque Estadual de Carlos Botelho e Estação Ecológica Xituê). Ligadas a Serra do Mar, estas UC´s formam um grande corredor de biodiversidade que compreende o maior contínuo florestal de Mata Atlântica. O presente estudo segue o mesmo protocolo de amostragem do projeto BIOTA Fapesp (01/14463-05). As espécies alvo da amostragem foram aves de grande porte (Cracídeos, Tinamídeos e Fasianídeos) e mamíferos acima de 1kg, com exceção do esquilo (Guerlinguetus ingrami) que é uma espécie indicadoras de áreas defaunadas. Para o levantamento qualitativo (riqueza) foram utilizadas identificação de pegadas, carcaças, rastros e observações ad libitum. Já o levantamento quantitativo (abundância, densidade, biomassa e tamanho populacional) foi obtido pelo método de transecções lineares, em que para cada indivíduo observado foram obtidas a distância perpendicular animal-trilha, horário do avistamento, número de indivíduos e sua localização... This work has as main purpose, demonstrate and analyze by a geography perspective the viability of the human being occupation and the economic develop at Núcleo ItutingaPilões of the Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar(PESM), through the develop of conscious tourism. This study aims to analyze designative hydronyms – terms that name watercourses in general – within the hydronymy of Mato Grosso do Sul, available in the toponymic Atlas of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul database – ATEMS, which were extracted from the official maps of the IBGE, scale 1:100,000, related to the 78 cities in the state. Among these hydronyms, 149 toponyms relating to rivers were selected and analyzed according to their etymology, the taxonomic classification and morphosyntactic structure.

The article analyses the possibilities of Geography concepts and categories to contribute to the notion of rural multi-functionality. It points out indications in the social-economic concepts development of small proprieties, emphasizing their relation to tourism. Thereby, the text aims at presenting theoretical and methodological elements of management of the geographic space, with the purpose of enabling the creation of tools which propitiate a support in the constructions of strategies of rural and local management.

The goal of our article is build – including universes to support empirical research in communication – an educational matrix for a different order of analysis, incorporating new possibilities available for the advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). For this goal we use the game, as a source of playful learning and formation of being. Introducing the interaction from game plataform as middle convergent, where it is possible the diffusion and expansion of knowled in constant way that enables education and information exchanges oustide the status quo of schools, increasing the e effectiveness of knowledge fixing and interest to acquire it.

This paper emerged from a reflection on the troubles afflicting and shocked teachers, especially early in his career, among which stands out both in studies and in reports propagated by the teachers themselves: the violence manifested in and out of classrooms. Given this finding and the obvious need for overcoming beyond ephemeral measures, this research outlines two equally important goals: a) incite the discussion of violence at the time of initial teacher training as well as the emergence of new studies concerning this subject in academic research and b) transgress the tradition of research that consists in recommending prescriptions to be applied about how banning school violence, disregarding the peculiarities of each context. These objectives are derived from following question: which strategies are developed in undergraduate courses that aim to preparing of future teachers to deal with the phenomenon of violence in elementary school? Intending to answer this question and, therefore, contemplate the objectives outlined we opted for specialized bibliographic material analysis, systematically selected as the method. As a main result, it was found that the discussion of the theme of school violence in the initial teacher training is something still scarce in practice and incipient in the sphere of research. Therefore, we emphasize the importance of strengthening of this discussion so that when they get into career teaching, future teachers feel adequately subsidized up to face the everyday challenges that may manifest over the profession.
