Qualidade de vida e vulnerabilidade social na percepção do idoso

According to data from the World Health Organization, the older population will grow sixteenfold from 1950 to 2025 in comparison to a fivefold population growth in the same period, which is referred to by UNO as the “Ageing Era”. This places Brazil in the sixth position in the contingent of older individuals worldwide, with a number that is higher than 32 million. Considering how topics such as quality of life and social vulnerability are important in face of the growing older population, these topics must be furthered studied so that they can be understood as important variables for both better clinical practice and scientific research. To describe the social vulnerability and evaluate the quality of life of older individuals in a population hospitalized in the internal medicine ward of Bauru State Hospital. This is a descriptive qualitative study that was conducted by means of interviews and using Bardin’s discourse analysis. The inclusion criteria used in this study were: individuals at 60 years of age who were mentally capable of answering the proposed questions. Two categories concerning Quality of Life and Social Vulnerability emerged from the interviews. The following emerged from the theme Quality of Life: “Life as something important” and subcategories that involved feeling useful in society, having a supportive family, independence, optimism and joy and survival. Also, the following emerged from the theme Social Vulnerability: “Negative recognition of older individuals in society” and subcategories that involved lack of respect, functional disability, family indifference, housing-related insecurity, an inefficient health care system and loneliness. Gamificação: modelagem de conteúdos para programas e aplicativos educativos no ambiente da TV digital interativa

With the deployment of Digital TV in Brazil, there is a need to foment the development and production of interactive audiovisual quality content, especially for programs that present educational messages from the entertainment concept - defined as Edutertainment. The objective of this study is to propose application of the gamification as a link of communication to encourage and modify user behavior, through a narrative that encourages intrinsic motivation for learning and entertainment in this media. This paper points out that there are few models of screenplays for applications production, particularly educational, with simultaneous interactive applications for television flow or complementary programming content offered. For this reason, a special attention is given to the screenplay, by virtue of inserting in its construction, the elements that make up the mechanics and dynamics of games. As a result, is shown the entry "Gamification-iDTV", which defines these two scenarios, as well as the development of a modeling methodology of a content and process, supported by conceptual maps, wireframes and roadmaps, substantiating the conception and elaboration of screenplay's prototype with elements of gamification for educational programs and its interaction applications.

A assessoria do serviço social na gestão das políticas sociais

A obra tem origem nas indagações surgidas a partir da experiência profissional da autora e do acompanhamento, desde sua formação acadêmica, da implantação e gestão da Lei Orgânica da Assistência Social (Loas) em 1993, reestruturada na Política Nacional de Assistência Social (PNAS) em 2004 e recentemente organizada como Sistema Único de Assistência Social (Suas). Ela analisa o processo de assessoria na gestão política de assistência social no âmbito municipal com objetivo de contribuir para o debate sobre a gestão descentralizada e participativa e promover entre os profissionais da área conhecimentos e inquietações acerca do Suas, concebido a partir da Constituição Federal de 1988. O livro defende a ideia de que a assistência social, como política pública universal, redistributiva e de qualidade, é fator fundamental da proteção social brasileira. E que sua reestruturação, que resultou no rompimento com o ultrapassado modelo socioassistencial sustentado no clientelismo, busca avançar rumo à garantia de direitos sociais por meio da inserção da assistência social tanto na prática quanto nos espaços de decisão políticos. Nesse contexto, propõe uma reflexão sobre a ação profissional do Serviço Social no âmbito da política. As reflexões e conclusões da autora baseiam-se de análise de dados obtidos em pesquisa qualitativa realizada com profissionais que atuam em assessoria do Serviço Social na região administrativa de Franca, a Nordeste do estado de São Paulo, formada por 23 municípios de vários portes. O uso das redes sociais online nas interações de produtores e receptores de televisão

This paper discusses the possibility of receiver’s participation in the production of television content mediated by online social networks. Buoyed by media convergence, this research demonstrates how the receiver has been working in online digital media such as TV can take advantage of the specific interaction between the medias to promote the creation of collaborative content, in which the user of social network may interfere the result of the product developed, becoming a new mediatic protagonist. Tool not so used for the production of television that slowly begins to enter the virtual reality, the forging of this new compose process would not only entertain the receiver, but also enrich the language and content television constantly criticized. This study shows the influence of the television medium in which is discussed online, the attitude still shy of the user in content production, and discusses the potential of social networks as a channel of communication between producers and receivers. This work is structured from the definition of social network, in addition to conducting the study what kind of interaction between TV and online social networks is practiced today. Finally, debate whether the potential interaction between TV and social networks is used to its fullest.
