In the 90s, the Brazilian Secretariat of the Special Education Department has expanded the democratization of education and pupils’ access to schooling, by redefi ning the operation of special education services. With this inclusion policy, the education system has been restructured. An important action, conducted during the period de 2005 to 2010, was to propose, deploy and implement Multifunctional Resources Rooms (Sala de recursos multifuncionais, or SRM), from two different types (type I and II). The challenge was to promote educational inclusion, in a program entitled Inclusive Education: the right to diversity. In a seek for new identity of teacher training and professional practice in special education, the great educational innovation is to better articulate the work of “ordinary“ and specialized teachers, via the SRM, and to develop collective and participatory actions between common spaces and support spaces. In this context, the school and the family represent an important source of partnership.

Background: The possibility to acquire sexually transmitted diseases generates bio-psycho-social conflicts affecting daily life of women. Objective: To investigate the knowledge of women on the concept of being infected by the human papilloma virus (HPV) and to understand the significance they attributed to their condition as HPV carriers. Material and method: It is a qualitative study in which ten women were interviewed, after the result of a cytopathological exam suggesting HPV. Data were collected at the Center of Health School of the Universidade Estadual Paulista -UNESP-Brazil. Results: The significant items were: deception and preoccupation about the cure, since they indicate that it is very deceptive to be infected with an incurable disease by a person whom they trust; the method of having sexual relations and being infected again; the necessity of care and of being optimistic to face the disease and the threat of cervix cancer originating anxiety. Discussion: Orientations made by health professionals were efficacious to clarify the relationship with cancer development. It is possible to understand the necessity of assistance orientations and the opportunity to hear them, offering individualized quality care. This study also offers important elements to reinforce the educational role of health professionals, principally those referring to sexually transmitted infection and cancer, seeking prevention and early treatment with the offered information. However, there is no desire of finishing the subject regarding perception, thus there is much to discover about diseases related to human papilloma virus. Les anomalies du développement des dents permanentes peuvent être dues à un traumatisme des dents primaires, étant donné la proximité de la racine des dents primaires avec les dents permanentes sous-jacentes. Nous décrivons le cas d'un garçon de 14 mois qui a été dirigé vers la clinique pédiatrique de l'École de médecine dentaire de l'Universidad Estadual Paulista d'Araçatuba, au Brésil, après avoir subi un grave traumatisme qui a causé l'intrusion de l'incisive centrale droite primaire. L'examen radiographique réalisé 4 ans après le traumatisme a révélé un changement morphologique évolutif dans le germe de la dent permanente. Au moment de son éruption, l'incisive centrale permanente présentait une malformation coronaire avec hypoplasie de l'émail. Nous avons conclu qu'un suivi radiographique est indiqué après un traumatisme afin de surveiller les séquelles qui peuvent survenir dans les dents permanentes, même avant leur éruption.

The main goal of this paper is to discuss the production of meaning of the Modern Math Movement. The main sources were data available in school archives and interviews with former teachers that we use in order to focus on the diversity of perspectives -that complement it or oppose it-, which comes up when teachers refer to the Movement. Using this process of signification, teachers whether accept it, invalidate it or adapt it to guidelines imposed to them in their teaching activities. We establish a methodology by following the premises of Oral History to gather oral testimonies. The theoretical foundations in which this article is written are the guidelines of Paul Ricoeur’s Hermeneutics, John Thompson’s Depth Hermeneutics and Bolívar’s narrative analysis.
