Os elos entre a filosofia e a educação no pensamento de Theodor W. Adorno

Este artigo aborda as relações entre a filosofia e a educação no pensamento de Theodor Adorno. A partir da reflexão elaborada pelo frankfurtiano acerca da relação entre teoria e práxis, procuramos compreender o papel político conferido às suas concepções de filosofia e de formação humana e discutir os seus limites e possibilidades no presente. Para tanto, elegemos como objeto de análise as conferências pronunciadas pelo autor e os artigos que escreveu sobre o assunto, entre 1959 e 1969, com o objetivo de recuperar os possíveis nexos teóricos entre filosofia e educação em sua obra e o significado que seu pensamento crítico e sua concepção de educação política assumiram nesse contexto; e de discutir sua eventual atualidade. Pretendemos, assim, reconstituir a reflexão de Adorno sobre o tema, compreendendo o seu significado em seu projeto filosófico, de modo a vislumbrar a face filosófica educacional de seu pensamento crítico.

The formation of the professionals for the timber industrial sector of the civil construction

The common point between the two forms of production of the wood-based sector in Brazil, one practically manufacturing and the other high technology, is in the qualification of the of the labor. In both cases, the professionals are being formed directly in the productive line and rarely with qualification in the academic area. There is not a public political education for the qualification of the labor, and the work market that does not demand qualified professionals, contributes for the sector stagnation. So, in order to excel the socio-cultural barriers in relation to the use of wood in the buildings, new attitudes are necessary in the teaching of the contents of the curricular programs, mainly, in formation of the architect and civil engineering.

O texto apresenta a educação política sob a perspectiva da democracia e da cidadania, em que se destaca a utilização de meio de comunicação aberto: o formato da rede que se verifica na Internet. This paper describes some of the key political strategies focused on the relationship between the school and the media in the country. Stand out actions taken by the media in its relationship with the formal education, the proposals on the subject found in the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN), the guidelines found in documents on school management, and some of the concrete initiatives undertaken by the government agencies. The framework allows us to observe the distance between the initiatives managed within the school field (involving curriculum programs, programs management and the action of the government agencies linked to field of formal education) and external proposals outside that field.

The Development of Science Education Research in Brazil and Contributions from the History and Philosophy of Science

Over the last 50 years a new research area, science education research, has arisen and undergone singular development worldwide. In the specific case of Brazil, research in science education first appeared systematically 40 years ago, as a consequence of an overall renovation in the field of science education. This evolution was also related to the political events taking place in the country. We will use the theoretical work of Rene Kaes on the development of groups and institutions as a basis for our discussion of the most important aspects that have helped the area of science education research develop into an institution and kept it operating as such. The growth of this area of research can be divided into three phases: The first was related to its beginning and early configurations; the second consisted of a process of consolidation of this institution; and the third consists of more recent developments, characterised by a multiplicity of research lines and corresponding challenges to be faced. In particular, we will analyse the special contributions to this study gleaned from the field known as the history and philosophy of science.

Sport techniques in physical education school: a look at the socio-cultural trends

Teaching sports techniques lessons of Physical Education is a very controversial subject. We must emphasize the fact that called our attention, that dealing with sport in a critical way would be the same as being against the teaching of the art. Several factors contributed in shaping this reality, among them we suspect that the proposal's incomprehension made within the socio-cultural trends. Thus, the aim of this work was to investigate the technical aspects of sports in teaching of Physical Education, as socio-cultural trends part. Throughout the text it is possible to identify new goals considering sportive techniques such as the concern with interests of students who movement, consideration of cultural repertoire of these students, in addition to proposing that the lessons do not restrict implementation of these movements, but also includes the knowledge of social, political, economic and cultural universe of sports events.
