O objetivo deste artigo é compreender o papel intelectual desempenhado por Paulo Emilio Salles Gomes na sociedade brasileira. Partindo da análise da sua crítica de cinema no jornal O Estado de São Paulo, nos anos 1950, busco caracterizar o processo de construção do empenho político e cultural voltado para a construção de uma sociedade democrática no Brasil, que se desdobrava nas análises sobre o cinema, e a realidade brasileira nas décadas de 1960 e 1970.

Concepções de educa��ão e educa��ão ambiental nos trabalhos do I EPEA

A necessidade de questionar o “conceito essencial da educa��ão” e de assumiruma postura crítica em face das “concepções usualmente presentes a respeitodos fins da educa��ão” motivou o desenvolvimento desta investiga��ão. Nossaintenção é contribuir para uma reflexão sobre os fundamentos da razão e daspráticas educativas de maneira geral e da educa��ão ambiental em especial.Assim, entendemos como significativo investigar as concepções de educa��ão eeduca��ão ambiental presentes nos trabalhos de pesquisa e nos ensaios críticosapresentados no I Encontro de Pesquisa em Educa��ão Ambiental (julho/2001).As questões que orientaram esta investiga��ão podem ser assim sistematizadas:que concepções de educa��ão e educa��ão ambiental podem ser identificadas nostrabalhos apresentados no I EPEA? Que elementos ou indícios podem serevidenciados nos textos que permitem a identifica��ão de tais concepções?Tanto a coleta de dados como a análise destes foram realizadas a partir dospressupostos da “análise de conteúdo”, privilegiando o desenvolvimento deanálises temáticas. A dimensão política do processo educativo,consubstanciada a partir das perspectivas de transforma��ão social e daconstrução do ideal de cidadania, destaca-se nos textos analisados. Aconcretiza��ão de tal perspectiva, segundo os textos, deve considerar nasjustificativas, objetivos, diretrizes e/ou princípios o processo de participa��ão, ainterdisciplinaridade, o desenvolvimento de valores, as rela��ões local-global-local,o potencial de conflitos socioambientais, entre outros. Considerando o risco dapresença de concepções nos textos de pesquisas em educa��ão ambiental que seaproximam de uma perspectiva “tradicional” ou “tecnicista���, associadas, às vezes, a��um processo de instrumentaliza��ão da educa��ão ambiental, assumindo, assim,uma perspectiva pragmática, entendemos ser necessário a busca da perspectivahumanizadora da educa��ão.

This paper is part of a larger research entitled: “On Kant’s concept of innate”. Here I discuss Kant’s concept of the innate, as well as the interpretation of some scholars on the subject. The aim of the paper is to explain to what extent the notion of the innate is a central problem for the explanation of the origin of the elementary representations of knowledge and for the philosophico-epistemological bases of the entire criticism.

Aspectos do anti-psicologismo e da crítica ao empirismo milliano em Frege

This article presents some aspects of the relationship between the philosophies of Frege and Stuart Mill, from the standpoint of the fregean critic of psychologism and empiricism. I defend the thesis that, in Foundations of Arithmetic, Frege directs his criticism to the empiricism professed by Mill in his System of Logic; this critic does not constitutes a ‘charge’ of the English philosopher as being a psychologist. For this, we presented several aspects concerning the role that the antipsicologismo has in the Fregean thought and its direct relationship with the logicist project of reduction of arithmetic to logic. To defend our thesis, some arguments intended to show that empiricism not necessarily and directly imply psychologism are presented.

A ideologia dos filmes utilizados na educa��ão infantil: uma análise a partir da teoria crítica

This work has as purpose to show what are the influences of media in the education and in the shaping the thinking and understand that ideologies are present in the films used in the classroom in kindergarten. For this, I directed the discussion beginning by concepts as Ideology and its more different definitions by several thinkers over the years, the thinkers of Critical Theory of Frankfurt School, called “frankfurtians” of first and second generation of this school, also making an association between Cinema and Education, evidencing concepts involving this association as Cultural Industry, using films properly in classrooms in kindergarten, with the teacher as mediator and then discussed what amounts of movies on children's education, how they assist and deepen the knowledge developed by students in schools of infantile education. Additionally, they are exposed the different opinions about the subject Film and Education for students from kindergarten, what benefits and what disadvantages in the use of films, the different opinions on the subject. We also discuss, in this work, the ideologies present in three films produced by Walt Disney, they are Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Alice in Wonderland, relating them to how they can contribute to the development and learning students in kindergarten. I associated more as possible the previous discussions to analyze the ideologies present in these films, by summarizing these, and decomposing them through an analysis tool called frame. Finally, I completed everything that was discussed and analyzed, which students in kindergarten may develop with the use of films in schools, what they contribute, in some way, for the learning and education of students as viewers using the school as access to different cultures and the teacher as a mediator of this relationship

Geografia e novas tecnologias: o centro integrado de alertas de desastres naturais (CIADEN) como proposta de prática pedagógica para o ciclo I do ensino fundamental

This research work aims to analyze and understand the teaching of geography in the perspective of historical and critical pedagogy, with the object of analysis, the Center for Integrated Natural Disaster Alerts (CIADEN) for students in Cycle I of the Elementary School, located in Etec “Astor de Mattos Carvalho”, in Cabrália Paulista-SP. Deepening the knowledge of geography teaching in a critical and controversial about the bad weather and the use of new technologies to transform the social order and its relationship with the environment. Contributing to the students and the community have a new proposal for action from the content learned, capable of solving the present and future with respect to weather, climate and natural disasters. O lúdico na escola: atividades lúdicas no cotidiano das escolas do ensino fundamental I no município de Araras

Partindo de leituras e discussões sobre a importância das atividades lúdicas para crianças em idade escolar, esta pesquisa procurou identificar o lúdico dentro da escola, bem como a sua utiliza��ão como estratégia de ensino no Ensino Fundamental I. Buscou-se, primeiramente, levantar argumenta��ão teórica que comprovasse a eficiência do lúdico no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, no desenvolvimento social, cognitivo e físico da criança. Coletou-se dados da realidade escolar em quatro escolas do município de Araras, interior de São Paulo, investigando a presença e a utiliza��ão de atividades lúdicas, na sala de aula. Colheu-se dados através de questionário fechado entregue aos professores para embasar, juntamente com o referencial teórico, as análises e discussões sobre a presença ou não do lúdico, na escola, e sua importância quando utilizado. Esta pesquisa possibilitou trazer à tona a discussão dos dados da realidade escolar, sob a luz do material teórico pesquisado, e verificou-se que o corpo docente entende e procura utilizar o lúdico em sala de aula, contudo falta material e também incentivo das escolas com rela��ão a essa rica alternativa. Dessa forma, essa realidade permitiu refletir acerca da prepara��ão dos professores, para desenvolver conteúdos e estratégias mais prazerosas; de modo a trazer o aluno a participar das rela��ões de ensino-aprendizagem de forma crítica e criativa; bem como a participa��ão ativa de coordena��ão e direção dentro da escola auxiliando o trabalho do professor.

A crítica de Siegfried Kracauer ao romance-reportagem ou o 'caso Brecht'

This article seeks to historically contextualize Kracauer’s aesthetic-political position regarding this successful literary genre among German writers in the early 1930s: the novel report. It is inevitable the reference to the Berlin journal, Die Linkskurve, and to Lukács’s critiques developed in the period – when he resumes aesthetic questions on the novel as a literary genre in a Marxist interpretation and outlines his thesis on “critical realism”. Kracauer wrote a critique about the film Kuhle Wampe, directed by S. Dudow with a script by B. Brecht and E. Ottwald and music by H. Eisler, which engendered a discussion full of misunderstandings, but extremely interesting, between E. Bloch and Kracauer and between Kracauer and Brecht. Finally, I comment the journal project Krise und Kritik, which failed with the rise of Hitler.
