A perspectiva do lazer entre lideranças sindicais das áreas metropolitanas de São Paulo e de Lisboa

We intended, in this study, to understand the sense of the leisure, due to the new work relationships in times of globalization, for syndical leaders that act in entities of metropolitan areas of São Paulo (Brazil) and Lisbon (Portugal). The methodology used was Phenomenology, Situated Phenomenon. Based on the data originated in the interviews, we established the following thematic categories: A) The request for the reduction of the work day, B) Actions related to the use of the leisure, C) Leisure as recovery for the work. We consider that in the globalization times, after diverse conquests of the workers, unhappily, we have attended in the last few decades, increasing precariousness of rights of the workers in the two searched countries, generating unreliability of the worker ahead of the experience of its work and of its leisure in independent way, it exempts, creative, significant and humanized.

CERN to Gran Sasso; an ideal distance for superbeam?

We use the CP trajectory diagram as a tool for pictorial representation of the genuine CP and the matter effects to explore the possibility of an in situ simultaneous measurement of δ and the sign of Δℳ13 2. We end up with a low-energy conventional superbeam experiment with a megaton-class water Cherenkov detector and baseline length of about 700 km. A picturesque description of the combined ambiguity which may arise in simultaneous determination of θ13 and the above two quantities is given in terms of CP trajectory diagram.

Eça de Queirós recorrendo a espaços emblemáticos na cidade de Lisboa, consegue mostrar em sua ficção, aspectos intervencionistas dos intelectuais da Geração de 70, em que a personagem obsedante, Portugal, é problematizada em seus aspectos sócio-político-culturais, sob o tema do constitucionalismo do regime regenerador e sob a perspectiva das relações temporais e espaciais (cronotópicas).

Paisagens do consumo: São Paulo, Lisboa, Dubai e Seul

As reflexões elaboradas neste livro fazem parte dos resultados de tese de Livre Docência em Geografia Urbana da UNESP, campus de Rio Claro que abordou o consumo como categoria de análise. Por meio do entendimento do consumo procurou-se compreender os principais impactos na produção do espaço urbano, na atualidade. Observadas as metrópoles de São Paulo, Lisboa, Seoul e Dubai, construiu-se um pensamento que considera a metrópole como espaço-sedutor. Nesta construção, elaborou-se uma leitura das paisagens do consumo nas referidas metrópoles e várias foram as contradições encontradas nas relações de consumo e na produção do espaço urbano. O reconhecimento das articulações entre a produção, a circulação, o comércio e o consumo, dentro do processo de generalização da mercadoria, também ganhou importância, e assim outros conflitos foram apontados.

Absentismo laboral por patología odontológica y médica en una industria de gran porte del sector mecánico y mueblero

Introduction: The current Brazilian legislation states that health services must be performed by the Specialized Service of Safety Engineering and Labor Medicine (SESMT). Objective: To analyze the dental and medical reasons for absenteeism, checking the interference of factors such as age, gender and position of the worker, and most of the reasons that led the employee to miss work. Material and methods: The research appears as a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The dental and medical certificates and statements of attendance were analyzed, duly approved, lodged in a acrylic industry in the city of Araçatuba-SP, from January to July 2011. Results: Of the total number of certificates (n = 1841), only 103 (5.6%) were for dental reasons. Predominance of the age group of 20-29 years, males and with non-administrative function. The reasons most dental and medical certificates stated that led the workers to miss working days were "inclusive and impacted teeth" and "diarrhea and gastroenteritis of presumed infectious origin", respectively. As to factors related to absenteeism, there was a severity index of 2.83, 1.33 frequency and average duration of absences of 2.12. Conclusions: It is concluded that dental reasons had little weight on total absences due to illness that caused the temporary leave of the worker for a shorter period. The age and function variables influence the occurrence of work absenteeism.
