O transporte coletivo intermunicipal no Estado de São Paulo: as linhas suburbanas

Esse trabalho tem por objetivo, mostrar a evolução do sistema de transporte coletivo intermunicipal do Estado de São Paulo. Nesse sentido, partimos do processo de industrialização e nacionalização da indústria automobilística. Procuramos também mostrar a evolução do Departamento de Estradas e Rodagem [DER], no papel de direcionador e gerenciador do sistema. Nesse processo, detalhamos o papel de todos os governos do Estado de São Paulo, na implantação de sistema viário estadual [1950-2006]. Também procuramos demonstrar o surgimento dos principais grupos que monopolizam cada vez mais o setor dos transportes coletivo intermunicipal. Assim, vamos comprovar a tese de que as empresas do transporte coletivo intermunicipal estão utilizando as linhas suburbanas para fazer frente ao grande avanço do transporte clandestino intermunicipal no Estado de São Paulo.

Análise da qualidade do transporte público por ônibus no município de Jundiaí-SP

This work shows the importance of taking a good organization of space for the improvement of urban public transport. The model of urban transport is used improperly aggravating factor that generates diseconomies to society. The reduction of the use of public transport, degradation of environmental conditions, chronic congestion, poor accessibility and high rates of traffic accidents are common in many cities. The case study will be done in Jundiaí - SP, where actions were taken to try to reverse this situation of crisis in urban transport, as the change in transport network system. Will analyze the proposals adopted for the implementation of the new network model, steps taken, questionnaires and results from these studies. Transport is one the essential services for the development of most economic activities. In the forestry sector, the main transport used to carry wood from the forest to local consumption is road. The transport increases the producing costs of wood and may be responsible of a high percentage in the final price of the wood sold in the industry. To reduce the company’s costs and increase the efficiency of forest production those transport activities must be analyzed and improved. In that context, an economic analysis is the main objective of this work, evaluating three different types of log transport from a sawmill in São Paulo´s Southwest region. For this, a data collection was done to compound the costs and the incomes of timber transport, and that way, to do the economic analyses of each transport. The monitoring activities were done in the second 2013 half-year and the research achieved economic viability results utilizing tools and methods of Economic Engineering

Identificação e implementação de melhorias nas operações de transporte interno de matéria-prima de um aindústria de bens de consumo

The world is an environment in constant process of globalization, where physical boundaries are no longer limits. The competitiveness has also evolved, forcing companies to adopt efficient practices in order to increase productivity gains, reduce losses and improve quality. Nowadays, the supply chain management and its element, including the internal logistics, is regarded as a key element for gaining competitiveness. Thus, this study focused on identifying and implementing improvements in the internal raw materials transport operations of a consumer goods company, based on concepts and tools of the lean thinking. The results showed considerable gains in productivity with consequent cost reduction, proving the efficiency of the methodology lean even in support areas of an organization.

With the market more and more disputed and negotiations where the customer is the main factor who decides whether the companies have conditions or not to dispute the market, industries must search improvements in products and processes targeting lower costs and better quality. With that in mind, this work will study the actual situation of a line of Tension Leveler, after cold mill process, for aluminum coil, and search new technologies, precisely the Scrap Baller machine, which will raise the quality level and the line’s productivity. It will be analyzed the justifications (reasons) for these new technologies, the history, the involved concepts, the operation, functions, the material that will be tension leveled, the limitations and tech and economic viability in comparison with the actual system. Also it will be taken a brief about the aluminum coil production in Brazil, especially the ones which destiny is aluminum beverage can, and the recycling process, that is very well done in Brazil, worldwide leader in aluminum recycling

Passageiros de terceira classe: o transporte de emigrantes na história econômica da Navigazione Generale Italiana

From the 1860s, the Italian emigration reached many entily, becoming on national problem and a source of revenue for shipping companies operating in the Atlantic. In Italy, the resources were fundamental in financing the replacement of the old sailboats by more modern steamers. Established in 1881, the Navigazione Generale Italiana (NGI) had not scoped to carry passengers. It acted in trade of goods conjugated with postal services widely subsidized by the state. By incorporating that transported immigrants, in a concentration process that would transform it in the largest shipping company in Italy, the NGI opened the thriving business of emigration to the Americas. Based on reports and Balance Exercises Financial of the company between the years 1881 and 1915, papers relating to merchant shipping and emigration legislation (laws of 1888 and 1901), this paper aims to present some results of research on the importance trafficking of Italian emigrants Navigazione Generale Italiana for marking the specialization process of its fleet this kind of service.

O transporte público no município de Araraquara: origem, crise e as tramas da proposta de privatização da Companhia de Trólebus de Araraquara - C.T.A

For decades the Companhia Tróleibus de Araraquara was a national reference in public transportion, but in recent years it is in a process of bankruptcy and scrapping, characteristics of privatizing processes that has been occurring worldwide since the rise of neoliberal ideas. This monography is centered on the finance analysis of CTA to investigate what reasons led the public company to come in the current financial scenario, what are the interests that exist to privatize a public company and which consequences the sale of the of public companies have for a country of subordinate capitalism like Brazil. Most Brazilian cities are in an urban collapse due to the lack of public policies for public transportation and bulky incentives for private transportation. Furthermore, this monography aims to contribute for the study of urban mobility and point out if privatization is a way to improve life in the cities
