The change in design of a building can occur during its construction process, especially when this change involves greater amount of profit for the building company, as it is the case of adding extra floors. However, there must be an analysis of the structure of the building in order to see if it is possible to increase the number of floors without the need of reinforcement, as this need would result in higher costs for the building company. This graduation report presents this analysis by using the methods of third order verification of reinforced concrete structures

The aim of this study was to develop a case study of road Aparecida, where it noticed a large movement of people with disabilities who use the road, bound for the city's churches. Another objective was to compare the minimum dimensions established by law, with the dimensions of the spaces (slope of ramps, wide sidewalks, etc.) on the road of Aparecida. Starting from this fact, a study was done on the architectural barriers faced by people with special needs and disabled. It was also made a field survey in order to know the opinion of the users about the accessibility of pregnant elderly and disabled in the road. Technical visits were also made in order to detect sites with access problems with special needs. Also were proposed guidelines for renovation of the building where the road works

Due to the great impact caused by construction, the university has a major role in the development of alternative projects and studies aimed at sustainable development. This project presents the advantages and importance of building in a sustainable manner from the beginning to end of the Center of Experiences at UNESP, Rio Claro / SP. It will be presented alternative building materials that have high environmental performance and that bring the least negative impacts as possible. Providing a Center of Experiences through a sustainable building is in need of the university to renovate the new trends of society in which the construction is in harmony with the environment in which it is inserted. This sustainable building will serve as a model for students and residents of Rio Claro, since the building itself will serve as a way of learning to the audience goer, as well as for the other campuses of UNESP. Thus, this project will serve as a guide for decision makers facing the huge amount of building materials available in the market

Are presented on this paper, concepts of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenances, following the prerequisites for planning and implementation of a maintenance plan. You also find the theoretical introduction of some measurement instruments accompanied by the necessary and recommended activities during routine maintenances of the electrical equipments in a building installation. Using case study, it is possible to assess a real maintenance plan applied to two occupied floors in a financial institution. The developing of a case study consolidates the effectiveness of the present concepts on this theoretical introduction and shows that the current maintenance plan can be improved in order to obtain better results on company productivity and reliability of equipments. As a conclusion, we can notice the importance of a solid maintenance plan and the need of including this theme on the graduation in Electrical Engineering

A memória de uma cidade está intimamente ligada aos edifícios e as intervenções urbanas que fizeram parte de sua história, principalmente no que diz respeito a espaços e estabelecimentos públicos, como o antigo Mercado Municipal de Tupã, SP que, juntamente com a igreja matriz de São Pedro, o Museu Histórico e Pedagógico Índia Vanuíre, o Solar Luiz de Souza Leão (antiga casa do fundador da cidade), a escola Bartíra e a linha férrea formam o eixo histórico da cidade. Tendo o antigo Mercado Municipal como objeto de trabalho, pretende-se propor a requalificação do local, transformando-o em um Centro de Educação e Artes com espaço para exposições permanentes e temporárias, onde a população possa interagir e participar das atividades do local. O resgate da memória delimitada pelo eixo histórico e a preservação das características dessa área também serão estudados servindo como fundamentação e ligação entre o projeto proposto e o espaço analisado

Due to the large number of pathologies in the civil constructions justified to highlight the reasons for problems encountered and subsequently the most appropriate way of implementing procedures for certain services performed in civil construction. The intention here is to explain each of the subjects studied, identify and distinguish the conditions presented in the post delivery of civil constructions from construction X, through research and company documents, and highlight steps of the executives of some services civilians highlighted in this work to minimize, or cancel, future maintenance. Studies will be conducted in a more narrow, focused more specifically in the most happening pathologies in the constructions and how to perform each service to prevent future problems with masonry (non-structural cracks and crevices), waterproofing, window frames and cladding. Neste projeto criou-se pequenos espaços localizados na região central de Bauru [Calçadão na Rua Batista de Carvalho], propondo um design estruturado nas condições ambientais, morfológicas e valorizando edificações históricas. Pretendeu-se introduzir uma linguagem formal diversificada. Esta proposta de renovação urbana da área implica em uma reestruturação urbana de maior amplitude, sendo apenas um item dos vários necessários para a transformação da área. O sistema de mudanças envolve a inclusão de habitação nos prédios ociosos e/ou degradados através de políticas públicas. Para a proposição, foram selecionados - para a demolição - lotes desprovidos de valor histórico-arquitetônico e de menor valor comercial (geralmente de um pavimento). Pretendeu-se transformá-los em quintais para a nova população residente e para os citadinos que usufruem a área no seu cotidiano. Os materiais e métodos usados para a elaboração do projeto foram: fotografias, fotos aéreas, teses de graduação e mestrado, fotos de satélites, imagens antigas, bem como o levantamento “in loco”. Assim, o corredor comercial em questão será (re)1qualificado a partir da implantação do projeto com destaque ao tratamento paisagístico, voltado à integração da área, a criação de uma unidade paisagística e a imagem da região em questão

Deconstructions, although hardly covered in Civil Engineering courses, are a very important field of study. Due to numerous factors, such as obsolescence, buildings life cycle comes to an end leading to their deactivations. Decommissioning is a process that intends to plan the hole deactivation by providing the cleaning of contaminated areas, avoiding risks to public health, as well as promoting a screening of generated waste, whether dangerous or not, offering their correct disposal or even reuse when possible. Decommissioning must be developed by a plan that covers from the recognition of the area until its releases to other uses. When this procedure is appropriate, attention must be paid to the cost effective of its implementation and to the cleaning standard that the plan intends to reach. The execution of the service allows to reuse the area, becoming productive again
