The traditional model of teaching little is modernized in recent decades. When in contact with this system, it is normal that the new-generation students feel unmo tivated in carrying out the proposed activities in the classroom. Considers Prensky (2001) these students, called Digital Natives, born with a modern way of thinking and learn and feel encouraged and motivated with activities that invite to interact. For this reason, it has been proposed the development of an object of learning in the form of application for Android tablets, exploring the internal sensors available in them, with the purpose of offering an interactive activity to students on the physical concepts involved in the process of photosynthesis in plants. For the construction, informational texts written in didactic language and easy to understand, illustrative images and animations were employed. In addition, we used the light sensor in the interactive activity on the process of photosynthesis so that the student could observe and understand how the environment is able to interfere with this process

The project is a platform for education that provides a way where teachers can create and share educational content for their classes, and students can download that content to refer to it at any time. The solution is based on two Windows Phone 7 Apps: Kookaburra Teachers, where teachers can add content to their classes, and Kookaburra Students, where students can download and view the content of classroom. To realize the communication between these two applications, we use a Windows Azure server, that server is also responsible for processing some conversions, enabling real-time translation. The collection of prices for basic goods supply is very important for the population, based on the collection and processing of these data the CLI (Cost Living Index) is calculated among others, helping consumers to shop more rationally and with a clearer view of each product impact of each product on their household budget, not only food, but also cleaning products and personal hygiene ones. Nowadays, the project of collection of prices for basic goods supply is conducted weekly in Botucatu - SP through a spreadsheet. The aim of this work was to develop a software which utilized mobile devices in the data collection and storage phase, concerning the basic goods supply in Botucatu -SP. This was created in order to eliminate the need of taking notes in paper spreadsheets, increasing efficiency and accelerating the data processing. This work utilized the world of mobile technology and development tools, through the platform".NET" - Compact Framework and programming language Visual Basic".NET" was used in the handheld phase, enabling to develop a system using techniques of object oriented programming, with higher speed and reliability in the codes writing. A HP Pavilion dv3 personal computer and an Eten glofish x500+ handheld computer were used. At the end of the software development, collection, data storing and processing in a report, the phase of in loco paper spreadsheets were eliminated and it was possible to verify that the whole process was faster, more consistent, safer, more efficient and the data were more available.

This paper presents two mobile applications developed for assistance on the analysis of speech related problems: Contagem de Disfluências (Disfluency Counter) and Velocidade de Leitura (Reading Speed). The use of tablet mobile devices streamlines the procedures for speech problem analysis conducted by speech language therapist. The lack of tabletspecific software designed for this purpose in the Portuguese language, and suited to the Brazilian needs, motivated the development of these applications, which was conducted according to the Kanban agile methodology.

Produção e estética dos conteúdos televisivos em ambiente de convergência: o caso da TV Unesp

Novos processos de produção de conteúdo estão reconfigurando os organogramas e os fluxogramas de setores ligados à criação de programas informativos e de entretenimento nas emissoras de televisão. A elaboração de conteúdos centrados em um modo de Comunicação que procura contemplar a participação e a colaboração da audiência nas construções discursivas impõe a existência de estruturas capazes de responder às demandas de uma plataforma multimídia, engendrada por tecnologias que possibilitem a conectividade entre os diversos dispositivos móveis e portáteis. Além de evidenciar os desafios de caráter organizacional, o presente trabalho, baseado em pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, tem como objetivo discutir as implicações estéticas dos conteúdos gerados para o consumo multimídia. Assim, toma como objeto de análise a estrutura e a programação da Televisão Universitária Unesp, da Universidade Estadual Paulista, em fase de implantação no campus de Bauru-SP.
