In order to accomplish this article, it was necessary to schematize and to problematize how child/childhood concept along the centuries made their use possible by specialized speeches (namely: medical and pedagogic, mainly) in many different historical extracts. Looking at child/childhood, examining them, transforming them into knowledge and tutor bodies/object, countless attempts in disciplining their gestures and consequent institution of subjective processes will be some steep lines in this article. That will be done in order to evidence the existence of what is nowadays so called child/childhood, and that today is the target of specialists speeches that, in our analysis, when leaning over childhood, would dictate norms behavior for the children, limiting them and restricting them.

The current National Curricular Guidelines sets as parameters for Educations programs the teaching and professional training in order to allow the realization of activities of school tutoring (management) and educational research. Our objective was to analyze educators attributions since 1930. For that, we made an analysis of the main laws that guided the activities of these professionals. We tried to demonstrate how the educator became from an old school teacher (1854-1880) to a primary education professor (end of XIX and XX centuries) and, nowadays, in a make it all in schools and in the administrative tasks into the schools. We hope, with this analysis, to contribute to the definition of attributions of the educator in current days and to offer subsidies for a better thinking of the process to students of Education in Brasil, helping in the tutoring of those future professionals.

O artigo analisa a posio dos Estados Unidos nas relaes internacionais ps-Guerra Fria, tomando como referncia as controvrsias sobre os alcances e limites da sua postura hegemnica, que adquirem maior impulso a partir da formulao da chamada doutrina Bush, sistematizada no documento A Estratgia de Segurana Nacional dos EUA. No tratamento da temtica proposta, enfatizam-se os seguintes aspectos: estabelecimento de um paralelo entre a transio dos sculos XIX-XX e XX-XXI, situando as caractersticas do imperialismo de cada poca; uma anlise da atual poltica externa dos Estados Unidos, enfocando o debate entre unilateralismo e multilateralismo, com destaque para as reaes geradas pela interveno no Iraque; uma discusso crtica das abordagens que visualizam na agenda de segurana da administrao Bush um indicador de perda de hegemonia, que imporia a substituio da busca do consenso pela dominao aberta.
