Subsistemas, comunidades e redes para a análise da participação no processo de políticas públicas

In recent literature, the concept of policy subsystem has occupied a central place in many theoretical models, it is considered prime unit of analysis in recent approaches to the policy process. Subject of intense theoretical discussion, when compared to related concepts such as policy communities, policy networks and policy issues, these concepts can contribute to the analysis of political participation process, characteristic of democratic governments. This present study aims to present a critical review of the literature on subsystems, policy issues, policy networks and policy communities, as well as discuss these concepts emphasizing the participatory potential of the actors who make up these spaces, seeking to contribute to the dialogue of studies in public policy and participation policy in Brazil.

Apontamentos sobre a construção sócio-histórica de estigmas e estereótipos em relação ao homoerotismo entre mulheres

This article aims at to count the history about the homoerotism among women in the western societies and in the modernity seeking to notice what bases stigmata and stereotypes on lesbianity at the present time. For that, it was collected in scientific works about feminine sexuality and homosexuality information regarding the lesbianity theme – scarce and of difficult access. The macho system and the phallocentrism put a mantle on that history, making it invizibilizated and ilegitimated. Removing the lesbianity from the obscurantism could contribute to the reflection on public policy issues that pertain to lesbian women and with homoerotic relationships and practices and contribute for the production of life quality for people that are moved by binary perspectives of stigmata and stereotypes. That research was financed by Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo – FAPESP, and accomplished by the PósGraduation Program of the Universidade Estadual Paulista – Campus of Assis SP.

Brazil's new national policy on solid waste: challenges and opportunities

Brazil, one of the world's largest developing countries, has recently introduced a new solid waste management regulatory policy. This new regulatory policy will have implications for a wide variety of stakeholders and sets the stage for opportunities and lessons to be learned. Regulatory issues on pharmacovigilance in Latin American countries

Pharmacovigilance is responsible for monitoring the safety of medicines in normal clinical use andduring clinical trials. Legal requirements for pharmacovigilance in some Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay) were reviewed. Disparities in the legal framework among the countries are observed being those for marketing authorization holders one of the most evident. Theactive rol of the universities and drug information centers for/of pharmacovilance seems to be a positivecommon point. Legal requirements regarding pharmacovigilance of biosimilar medicines, is still a pointto be developed.
