With the passage of time, the variety of companies from each branch has gradually grown throughout the country. As a consequence, the logistics to attend to such demand has grown in the same proportion. One factor to highlight about this rapid growth is the increase of freight vehicles roaming the roads, often carrying loads over the limit established by law. At first it may seem that this would not bring any problem, however, note that an excessive number of overloads ends up deteriorating the asphalt, causing ondulations, potholes and other imperfections on the roads, which can cause accidents. In addition, the money spent for the maintenance of the roads is high. Thinking about it, it was established by law a regulation that restricts the weight limit for these vehicles, through axle weighing, subject to a fine. With this control the road floor is preserved for longer, requiring less maintenance expenses. The weighing stations use load cells to display the inferred weight, these cells use strain gages in its construction. The following work presents a methodology to dimension a binocular load cell, its main elements and its dimensioning. A produção da subjetividade no contexto institucional de um seminário católico

Esta pesquisa visa estudar a produção da subjetividade no contexto institucional de um Seminário Católico. Este estabelecimento funciona em regime de internato no qual atualmente 70 seminaristas estudam Filosofia durante 3 anos, numa etapa preparatória para o sacerdócio. Pesquisamos o funcionamento da vida institucional através da observação participante e utilizamos entrevistas semi-estruturadas para entender como o seminarista experiencia sua vida. Os resultados preliminares indicam que a vida no contexto institucional do Seminário produz diversas modalizações da subjetividade nos seminaristas internados no estabelecimento: há uma perda considerável de autonomia pessoal, da liberdade de ir e vir, agir e decidir, originando comportamentos de dependência excessiva, de resistência à mudança, de conversão ao papel proposto, de rivalidade fraterna. A contradição detectada entre o aparelho repressivo e o discurso participativo parece produzir nos indivíduos características marcadas pela clivagem e pela recusa.

O internato escolar O Ateneu: produção de subjetividade na instituição total

Dans cet article on cherche à identifier les effets de l'institutionnalisation dans la production de la subjectivité dans un établissement scolaire total. La recherche est basée sur le roman «O Ateneu » de Raul Pompeia, analysé à partir de la théorie de Goffman (1961-1987) relative aux institutions totales. on décrit l itinéraire moral que le personnage Sergio développe, à son entrée à l'internat, évoquant les vicissitudes par lesquelles il passe dans ce contexte institutionnel : période d'adaptation, crises évolutives, initiations sexuelles, problèmes de rivalités, etc. les établissements totaux semblent s'organiser d'une façon caractéristique et fonctionner de manière autonome. on pourra comprendre les problèmes sociaux et les effets sur la subjectivité produite par les institutions totales par l étude des relations de pouvoir subjacentes à ces types d'établissements. Le temps pendant lequel un individu vit comme interné peut laisser des marques profondes dans sa subjectivité et se configure comme un thème personnel approprié.

Shear strength evaluation of composite-composite resin associations

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the shear strength between distinct associations of different commercial composite resins and their fracture modes.Methods: Nine composite-composite associations (n = 90) were prepared for shear strength evaluation and separated into the following groups: Z/Z (Filtek Z250 UD + Filtek Z250 A2); Z/ D (Filtek Z250 UD + Durafill VS A2); Z/S (Filtek Z250 UD + Filtek Supreme YT); C/C (Charisma OA2 + Charisma A2); C/D (Charisma OA2 + Durafill VS A2); C/S (Charisma OA2 + Filtek Supreme YT); H/H (Herculite XRV B2D + Herculite XRV B2E); H/D (Herculite XRV B2D + Durafill VS A2); H/S (Herculite XRV B2D + Filtek Supreme YT). Shear tests were carried out using universal mechanical test equipment with a load of 200 kgf and speed of 0.5 mm/min. Ultimate shear strength data (MPa) from all tested groups were submitted to analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) and the Tukey test. The fractured surfaces of the test samples were visually evaluated by binocular stereomicroscope at 20 times magnification. Fractures were classified as either adhesive or cohesive or mixed.Results: The highest ultimate shear strength observed for composite-composite associations was found for the groups: Z/Z, C/S, H/H, H/S, Z/S and C/C. Those associations containing the Durafill resin were weaker than the others.Conclusion: Microparticle RBC associations presented lower shear strength than hybrid and/or nanoparticle RBC associations, once the only significant difference was found when the Durafill resin was involved.
