The term “independent media art” expresses an artistic-scientific process performed in the Art- Science Communication interface presented as Final Paper in Visual Arts baccalaureate modality. The first part consists in gather, in artisticscientific research, an overview of the production of independent comics, mainly in Brazil, as well as some of the manifestations that were derived from it. The identification is made from bibliographical and iconographical survey, both printed and virtual materials. The second part discusses the production of a comic of my own - Imperfect Lives - published independently. This work is inserted in the line of research “Artistic Processes and Procedures” of the Department of Fine Arts of the Art Institute of UNESP and describes: Creative process, production, dissemination and influences. The third and final section brings together the work done by me during the four-year course, whose theme has some relation with comics. Experiments are in various media, using one or another characteristic intrinsic to them. The monography includes as an appendix a copy of each issue of the fanzine Imperfect Lives. The methodology used was Freinetiana Educational Cybernetics, developed in the research group “Art media and Videoclip”, whose leading advisor is the one from this Final Paper. The result and discussion of the artistic research and scientific monography were reported in the following versions: PDF File repository for dissemination in the virtual library of the Institute of Arts. Hardcover version for physical collection in the Library of the Institute of Arts. Paper version for the committee. Template version appropriate for submission to International Scientific Congress in the area of Arts

The book-report Human Development: the reality beyond the numbers addresses issues related to the Development Index (IDH), of Brazil, in a general context, and the city of Bauru, in the local context. The “IDH” is a number that serves as a comparison between countries, in order to measure the degree of economic development and the quality of life offered to the population. The classification, if high, can be readily used as a means of aggrandizement national and if low, can be used to highlight the weaknesses national. Understanding the role of media as an agent capable of promoting social debates of great importance, this book-report aims to discuss the concept of human development beyond the numbers commonly reported, prompting debates on the issue of human development: whether in relation to social issues, public policy or the role of the media in the process of contributing to the formation of public opinion. Este trabalho tem como objetivo traçar um panorama artístico literário presente na produção do escritor modernista Oswald de Andrade, identificando a evolução estética ideológica do autor por meio do manifesto Pau-Brasil (1925) e o Antropófago (1928); de teses e artigos como “Meu Testamento” (1944) e “A crise da filosofia Messiânica” (1945); de entrevistas presentes no livro Telefonema, parte integrante da coleção: Obras Completas de Oswald de Andrade (Rio de janeiro, 1974); e de sua produção teatral. Toma como ponto de partida a antropofagia como um operador cultural, de modo que a característica mais marcante do escritor, a irreverência, é fomentada e trabalhada por meio da ironia, ferramenta de discurso que Oswald de Andrade utiliza com uma função social, uma arma revolucionária e política. Para tal, traçou-se uma linha entre a produção modernista e a produção teatral de Oswald e desse levantamento bibliográfico, a peça que mais chamou a atenção foi O rei da vela, primeira peça escrita na fase adulta, em 1933, e publicada em 1937 e que somente teve sua primeira encenação 30 anos depois, em 1967, pelo grupo de Teatro Oficina com a direção de José Celso Martinez Corrêa. O grupo realizou um levantamento literário e documental sobre o Oswald de Andrade, através de depoimentos dos atores que receberam a proposta de encenação (em 1934), aos Manifestos, até encontrar a Antropofagia oswaldiana, e dela se utilizarem para concretizar O rei da vela, retomando e usando a antropofagia, essencialmente, como um operador cultural

Estudos comprovam que os fetos desde o útero já respondem a estímulos sonoros e que a música, por sua vez, pode influenciar no desenvolvimento cognitivo, afetivo e social do individuo. É a partir de tais considerações que o presente trabalho identifica, através de levantamento bibliográfico mais aprofundado, quais os fatores que a linguagem musical pode desenvolver nas crianças e como tal linguagem se constitui num “treinamento” para o cérebro, visando, primordialmente, a busca de novas práticas de aprendizagem. Analisamos, ainda, o currículo de formação dos professores do curso de Licenciatura Plena em Pedagogia das universidades federais e estaduais brasileiras, observando a ênfase dada à modalidade do ensino de música nos cursos de formação de professores unidocentes. Por fim buscamos oferecer subsídios metodológicos, dos quais os professores unidocentes possam lançar mão para o desenvolvimento de atividades destinadas ao trabalho com musicalização infantil

The increasing degradation of the environment and the depletion of natural resources, caused by indiscriminate production practices, by current and unlimited human needs and also misconceptions that natural resources are inexhaustible, make current and future environment situation, a constant concern of national and world leaders. With the purpose to confront these issues and to qualify the cities on the environmental situation in the state of São Paulo, the Department of the Environment created, in 2007, the Program “Município VerdeAzul. This paper aims to the study this program of Unit Water Resources Management Pontal Paranapanema through specific analysis of data representing the efficiency of the program directives and a comparative study between two cities unit with discrepant scores and a survey of the possible causes of obtaining low scores for municipalities participating in the project. The Geotechnical Mapping is an extreme important tool for the urban planning, so the public authorities can establish guidelines for medium and long term for a better life conditions for the population. The division region between the cities of Americana and Santa Bárbara D’Oeste has an intense conurbation problem, which is causing problems of occupation in risks areas on environmental terms. In this context this project has as an objective the elaboration of a Geotechnical Map from the sub- basins of Sossego and Barracão rivers, whicht are located in between the area of the two cities, and presents some of the process causes of the conurbation problem. For this study, the following steps were proposed: bibliographic and topographic maps research for better knowledge from the theme and the area, and also preparing cartographic basis; making of preliminary geotechnical area map with a 1:10.000 scale, gather all the information acquired at the previous step and compartmentation of the area; field step to collect more information and soil for the laboratory analysis, objecting the characterization of the geotechnical unities; lab analysis; final geotechnical map preparation; and final report elaboration. The final product of this study is the Final Geotechnical Map, with a 1:10.000 scale, and the principal objective is to help the urban planning

Pela Lei Federal nº 11.274/2006, promulgada em seis de fevereiro de 2006, o ensino fundamental no Brasil passa a ter a duração de nove anos, com a inclusão de crianças de seis anos de idade. O objetivo desta Lei é assegurar um tempo maior de convívio escolar e maiores oportunidades de aprendizagem, principalmente às crianças pertencentes aos setores populares. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a lei que estende a obrigatoriedade, do ensino fundamental e traçar um panorama deste processo de ampliação no município de Pirassununga, buscando conhecer sua trajetória, bem como os aspectos positivos e negativos oriundos da nova legislação. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos a pesquisa se desenvolveu a partir de levantamento bibliográfico, bem como no levantamento de dados e informações acerca do município de Pirassununga e também através de documentos oficiais, entrevista do tipo semi-estruturada, e pesquisa em sites governamentais, relacionados com o tema. A ampliação do ensino fundamental para nove anos culmina numa ampliação de direitos, ainda que tímida, que vem sendo perseguida ao longo da história da educação brasileira. Entretanto, esta ampliação tem suscitado inúmeros questionamentos e criticas ao que refere a qualidade do ensino e a preocupação com os aportes financeiros

O processo de alfabetização no âmbito formal (escolar) tem ocorrido, nos últimos anos, cada vez mais precocemente. Diante do cenário da obrigatoriedade de que o ensino fundamental deva ter a duração mínima de nove anos, é fato que a criança antecipa seu ingresso na escola. Desta forma, parte da sua infância e de seu aprendizado que antes ocorria em diferentes espaços – família, praças públicas, com brincadeiras pelas ruas do bairro em que vivia, passa agora a ser dividida com a escola. Quando pensamos nas atividades mais realizadas por crianças na faixa etária em que atualmente se inicia o processo de alfabetização, o brincar é a referência principal dessas atividades. Assim, o que antes estava pautado no brincar, no fantasiar, na diversão, com o processo de alfabetização, esses aspectos tendem a assumir um caráter mais formal. Está claramente posto na literatura que o brincar é algo constante na vida das crianças, sendo este um meio pelo qual a criança aprende, desenvolve e interage com o mundo. Considerando esses apontamentos, é possível questionar: como tem se dado o processo de alfabetização nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental Há “espaços” para o aprender brincando no processo de alfabetização? Se sim, como ele tem se configurado Se não, quais as dificuldades encontradas para que aprender e brincar no processo de alfabetização possam se efetivar Diante de tais questionamentos, desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa qualitativa utilizando-se da metodologia da problematização, que envolveu observação em uma escola no interior paulista, identificação dos pontos-chave, a teorização através de levantamento bibliográfico, formulação de hipóteses e realização de atividades na prática na escola pesquisada. Estes procedimentos favoreceram para entender e refletir sobre a temática buscando alternativas para alfabetizar de forma prazerosa

O objetivo deste trabalho foi o de buscar compreender melhor o funcionamento linguístico através da análise de um corpus composto por dez piadas e observar quais os elementos da língua que provocaram humor em cada uma delas. Para a conclusão desta pesquisa, foi necessário realizar um levantamento bibliográfico que fez uso de conceitos relacionados ao humor e focalizar determinados campos da Linguística, como a Semântica e a Pragmática. Esta disciplina pôde viabilizar uma aproximação entre Linguística e humor por se dedicar à análise dos usos da língua, considerando as intenções do locutor e os efeitos da fala deste sobre o alocutário. De maneira semelhante, a Semântica também lida com fatores de grande relevância para se analisar os textos ditos jocosos, tais como sinonímia, polissemia, homonímia, ambiguidade etc. Esses dois ramos trabalham juntos conteúdos inegavelmente importantes para se realizar uma interpretação desse tipo de texto. As análises realizadas buscaram verificar o principal determinante de um efeito risível em cada piada e não se ativeram em minuciosas reflexões de teor sociolingüístico, social e psicológico. A partir delas, pôde-se verificar que os textos de humor constituem um rico objeto de trabalho para o estudioso da língua, já que possuem elementos abundantes para contribuir com um estudo completo do funcionamento e da estrutura da linguagem (verbal)

The term “writing media art” expresses an artisticscientific process performed in the Art-Science Communication interface presented as Final Paper in Visual Arts baccalaureate modality. The first part gathers, in artistic-scientific research, a historical overview of the relation between image and writing, which its main focus is calligraphy and its different expressions in art and design, including their interrelations. The identification is made from bibliographical and iconographical survey, both printed and virtual materials. This approach involves the selection of authors’ statements and comments in order to offer a deeper historical basis, since it comes to facts and events. The second part relates to the set of works produced during the four-year period of the Visual Arts course, including a reflection about the creation process and all that surrounds it – influences, memories, visions etc. – to finally establish a connection between all these elements in order to make clear this incredible web of creation. This work is inserted in the line of research “Artistic Processes and Procedures” of the Department of Fine Arts of the Art Institute of UNESP and describes: creative process, production and influences. Tourism represents a socio-economic activity to generate local and regional development and at the same time contribute to the valuation and conservation of natural and cultural landscape. From this premise, we believe that the study area - PESM – Núcleo Santa Virginia and surroundings - has a great tourism potential, which can be further explored through public policies that value and at the same time assist the conservation of the natural and cultural landscape of the region. Therefore, this project, which arises from a research project conducted by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) in partnership with the Forestry Institute (IF), analyzes the possibilities and limitations of the attractions and tourist activities in areas of intensive, extensive use and around this area. Through literature research and application of semi-structured questionnaires to the main agents of local tourism important information for the characterization of tourism activities in the study area were obtained, as well as to identify gaps in planning instruments and management about PESM - Núcleo Santa Virginia. Through this diagnosis, we intend to provide support for the development of tourism in Núcleo Santa Virginia and its surrounding area, seeking to conserve natural and cultural heritage and improving the quality of life of local people

It is a systematic literature review, wich aimed to analyze documents, as is the inclusion of the family in Mental Health Services. To do so was based on a literature in the database of the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences (LILACS). And the documents were selected from the question which funded the research to evaluate the contribution of scientific research published in journals in the period 2000 to 2011. Data analysis reveals that the government's efforts in having the family as an ally, not a recent phenomenon. But this is a process that depends not only on government, also depends on the professionals involved and of their own families, and other factors. It is concluded that much remains to be done, both in terms of research for the topic, the actions in the reality of such a process

This research was mainly focused on public policy analysis of solid waste, and the National Policy and State Solid Waste, as well as determining the performance of the Blue Green Municipality strategic project in relation to the management of municipal solid waste in Regente Feijó, São Paulo. The objective of this research was to analysis of the consequences of the deployment project of selective collection and integration of recyclable material collectors in an association of collectors, called the Association of Recyclable Material Collectors Rock, held in the city from the year 2008, with effective implementation in 2010. We analyzed the actions of the municipal government since the implementation of selective collection, to the development of the Association. The methodology used was literature concerning the issue; routine field surveys to monitor the activities in the landfill and association of collectors, collecting data from questionnaires appropriate to the research topic. We sought to examine old and new forms of urban solid waste management, the evolution of the historical process of this issue in the city and its social and environmental impacts, and the collectors the main social actors in this process. The complexity that addresses this issue was dealt with in this dynamic study, analyzing all parts involved
