Subjetividade, individualidade e singularidade na criança: um sujeito que se constitui socialmente

Considering the hypothesis that Bakhtin and his Circle's reflections can help us think about issues involving the field of Language Acquisition, in addition to the fact that there are only a few works developed within this perspective in Brazil, in this article, we intend to discuss the notions of subject, subjectivity, individuality and singularity, drawing on Bakhtin's theory. Thus, in order to make this discussion clearer, we bring data from the speech of young children, from 1.8 to 3 years old, who were filmed in natural contexts interacting with their parents and relatives. From these data, we could verify, among other things, that children, as individuals who constitute themselves as subjects in and through language, bring marks to their discourse, revealing their subjectivity (through lexical, morphological, syntactic or genre choices).

Identidade e reconhecimento na cultura de rua

Direct descendant of the music of the Black Atlantic, hip hop became the spokesman of excluded minorities, for example setting up of the reunification that is geographically separated through communication. The hip hop appropriated new forms of mass communication, allowing the reworking of the story through a counter-hegemonic discourse that seeks self-knowledge and appreciation of the roots of black people. The street culture is the narrative of disenfranchised youth, generating narrative of inclusion, which gave a space of enunciation periphery enabling them to intersubjective recognition. This project aims to discuss the role of hip hop as an agent conscientizing youth peripherals in order to bring to the debate the form of identity construction around the peripheral street culture since, as an intervention that acts as a symbolic system guiding cultural practices and attitudes of these young people. Methodologically, we analyzed specific bibliographical about hip hop and literature originating from the periphery itself. Selected discography of some rap groups. They are Racionais Mc's, 509-E and DJ Hum and Thaíde that constitute the vanguard of hip hop in Brazil. We use music from rapper Emicida this while some contemporary exponents of rap, with national and international. State of São Paulo in order to demonstrate that there is similarity between the questions proposed by the hip hop and the interior of the capital, the group selected Survey. Is it possible to encapsulate in a pill the benefits of an analytical treatment? Quickly suspending the symptoms? Since the nineteenth century psychiatry has offered to the so called mentally ill "medieval forms" of treatment, as is the case of institutional admissions, the straightjacket, lobotomies, shock treatments, etc. What has changed since the mid-twentieth century advent of chlorpromazine, the first psychoactive drug, and the "psychopharmacological revolution"? Today with the Psychiatric Reform mental institutions admissions are being gradually abandoned, yet we see the rise of psychoactive drugs as protagonists in mental health treatment. This theoretical essay is an extension of a master's thesis in progress on the long-term use of psychotropic drugs. It falls within the field of mental health, specifically in the debate on the medicalization of society in contemporary processes of subjectivation of the psychiatric clinics and the treatment modalities currently offered to individuals in their suffering-existence. Thus, we seek to problematize this degrading psychiatric clinics, which produces what we call the pill-subject.

Psicologia como campo de constituição do sujeito infantil e a teoria de Jean Piaget

This article aims to question the knowledge created with psychology, taking a quick passage through the discourses of this science since its birth and questioning what is the implication of this knowledge to the children constituition. Then, we will reassemble the context in which it was forged and what revolutions in the ways of conceiving life became possible after the psychology advent being estabilished as a field of autonomous knowledge. Furthermore, as a way to illustrate what we understand about the psychology constituition of childhood we will discuss some aspects of Jean Piaget's theory in an attempt to elucidate how this speach was (and is) widely applied and "naturalized" in such way, that nowadays it is common to speak of "stages of development" when referring to children. To realize that problem, we will support the studies of Michel Foucault about the production of knoledge and especially of knowledge “psy” and what is its importance for the children.

O espaço urbano como construção poética do sujeito

This is a critical and analytical study about some poems written by the Brazilian poet Fábio Weintraub concerning the construction of the poetic space as a critical and poetical view of the subject. The lyric aspect in the poet's work is objective and sensitive towards urban scenes in which all the objects play a role as images of the cities' routine, in which space is performed as the drama of the subject who sees the scene.

Reconhecimento de cores de objetos e de alimentos de cromaticidades opostas por pintos de corte

The aim of this research was to evaluate, by preference tests, the ability of perception of broiler chicks in the recognition of objects and foods of different colors. The survey was conducted in Brazil and consisted in the conditioning of 60 sexed one-day-old chicks using 30 male chicks and 30 female chicks for three days with blue balls and red food colors chosen for having opposed chromaticities. After the conditioning phase, a preference test was performed, in which the animals were placed individually in the center of an arena test with four options: red food, blue food, red balls and blue balls. Each bird was measured for 10 minutes. Latency to the first peck and the number of pecks, the number of sequential pecks at each object type or food, the total time the bird in each occupied compartment and the first occupied slot were recorded. According to the results, female chicks are less inhibited when in contact with a new situation when compared with males. However, males were able to establish a standard environment in the conditioning phase and opted for the compartment which was closer to that situation, associating the blue color to the ball and red color to the food. Overall, among the types of object colors and between types of food colors, the birds took less time for the decision on the choice of blue food and blue ball, showing a greater attraction, at first, to this color. Between the two ball colors, shorter latency period, greater number of interactions as well as more time spent on site were related to the blue sphere, verifying greater preference for this object. When evaluating the types of food colors, it was observed that the highest averages related to the number of pecks, and sequential pecks occurred with red food. Therefore, it is concluded that the birds recognized the red and blue food object, with the blue color having greater attractiveness for broiler chicks when compared to red.

Care to terminal patients. Perception of nurses from the intensive care unit of a hospital

Objective. To identify the perception of nurses with regard to the process of providing care to patients in the context of hospice care. Method. Qualitative study using the methodological framework Collective Subject Discourse. A total of 18 nursing professionals of the adult intensive care unit of a public hospital in São Paulo, Brazil were interviewed between June and August 2012. Results. The process of providing care to terminal patients is permeated by negative, conflictive and mixed feelings. As regards communication, while the participants acknowledge its importance as a therapeutic resource, they also admit a lack of professional qualification. Conclusion. The interviewees have difficulties to deal with care provided to terminal patients. The qualification of these professionals needs to be improved, starting in the undergraduate program.

Among the harmful health agents, it is given to the noise, one of the most present in urban and social environments. There are efficient measures to control the noise and the auricular Individual Protection Equipment (IPEa) is the most used. It has been observed the shortage in the comfortable and functional individual auditory protection products, related to durability, face to the efficiency right of the equipment. The main objective of this study was to recognize if there is effectiveness loss toward the used time on the Auditory Equipment, intra-auricular Individual Protection, of foam (3M), model 1110. It has been verified that the equipments suffer efficiency alteration according to the time of use, and the material consuming initiates reliable loss, mainly in audible frequencies going up to 100Hz, and from 16 days for sonorous pressure suffered started in 101dB 20Hz. For sonorous pressure suffered from 107dB to 20Hz, the reliable loss for the usage was of 8 days. The IPEas do not lose effectiveness on important attenuation by the daily use in frequencies from 1KHz until 20KHz. It has been concluded that there is effectiveness loss, according to the daily and frequent use of the IPEa studied.

Reconhecimento de faces sob diferentes condições de iluminação utilizando PCA e a transformada census

Os seres humanos identificam naturalmente outros seres humanos utilizando suas características físicas, fisiológicas ou comportamentais. Dentre essas características, destacam-se os traços faciais. O avanço tecnológico na área de Biometria tem promovido o desenvolvimento de inúmeras técnicas para o reconhecimento automático de faces por meio de computadores, entretanto, existem ainda vários fatores que dificultam esta aplicação, como por exemplo, a variação das condições de iluminação. O objetivo deste artigo é analisar os efeitos da aplicação de um filtro de processamento de imagens, denominado Transformada Census, em uma base de dados com imagens da face em diferentes condições de iluminação. Assim, experimentos foram realizados utilizando a técnica PCA com imagens da base de dados AR antes e depois da aplicação da Transformada Census. Os resultados desses experimentos mostraram que a aplicação da Transformada Census melhorou o resultado do reconhecimento das faces, reduzindo a taxa de erro.

A constituição de uma questão sociocientífica em um grupo de professores: um processo polifônico de desvelamento da realidade concreta

This article presents part of a broader research and seeks to elucidate the process of setting up a Socio-scientific Issue in a group of teachers at a public school. Assuming that a Socioscientific Issue must aggregate those involved in the educational process in situations of dialogue, argumentation and construction of a positioning, we understand that the recognition of the controversy or of the legitimacy of the theme in the context at stake is crucial to achieving the desired goals. Thus, starting from subsidies from the Critical Theory of Society, we characterize the process of setting up a Socio-scientific Issue among teachers as an exercise of unveiling the concrete reality, listing problematic, controversial and open to criticism aspects of Science and Technology. Thus, the Socio-scientific Issue is listed out in the group as soon as it is established a polyphonic dialogue where all participants stand, recognize the fertility of the themefor the intendededucational context and can speak of it with propriety.
