A imagem do professor na literatura brasileira: uma an��lise hist��rica

O presente trabalho constitui uma tentativa de tra��ar os caminhos do magist��rio no plano real/hist��rico atrav��s do resgate da imagem dos docentes retratados na literatura brasileira, al��m de auxiliar alunos e professores de cursos de licenciatura a entender melhor os processos hist��ricos. Ao longo de nossa hist��ria diversos escritores se propuseram a retratar o professor em suas obras, tais como: Machado de Assis (1840), com Conto de Escola, Raul D��vila Pomp��ia (1888) em O Ateneu, Oswald de Andrade (1926) em Mem��rias Sentimentais de Jo��o Miramar, Sylvia Orthof (1980) com a cr��nica Bicho Carpinteiro, Ziraldo (1995) em Uma professora muito Maluquinha e Thalita Rebou��as (2006), em Fala s��rio, Professor! E �� a partir dessas obras que ocorre uma reflex��o sobre a imagem que os profissionais da educa����o transmitem/transmitiram para a sociedade, atrav��s do olhar dos artistas liter��rios. Al��m de influenciar a vis��o daqueles que l��em suas obras, os escritores transp��em em seus textos elementos que nos permitem reviver o paradigma por eles vivenciado, fazendo da literatura um instrumento para o resgate da hist��ria.

Retratos de mulheres na literatura brasileira do s��culo XIX

The aim of this article is to broaden our understanding of education and the concept of womanhood in the Brazilian society of the 19th century. On the basis of the analysis of a number of novels typical of the period it is concluded that novels had or intended to have a pedagogical function among the educated elite in the education of women. In this way, literature constituted an expression of a dominant and socially determined conception of womanhood and a pedagogical instrument that imposed social values.

Rio - Paris: prim��rdios da publica����o da Literatura Brasileira chez Garnier

This article brings to light the latest research on the activities of Baptiste-Louis Garnier, French bookseller and publisher established in Rio de Janeiro, in his relations with the French publishing world: methods, procedures, books, authors and publishers. Cultural exchanges between these two systems helped to consolidate the canon of authors and works of Brazilian Literature in the nineteenth century. The study of these relationships can give full account of some information scholars have provided us and contributes to a better understanding of the process of production and circulation of literary works in Brazil.

Imagens da literatura brasileira traduzida: an��lise de capas

Da escrivaninha do autor ��s prateleiras das livrarias, todo texto ���veste-se���, orna-se de acess��rios, at�� tornar-se o objeto-livro, ser oferecido ao p��blico e ser lido/consumido pelo leitor. Essas transforma����es, ocorridas em sua maioria na fase da editora����o, podem ou n��o contar com a participa����o e, sobretudo, com o aval do autor. Quanto maior o sucesso ou prest��gio da obra ou do escritor, mais pr��ximo o autor parece estar das decis��es de um lan��amento e mais afastado de todos os seus desdobramentos: reedi����es, posteriores edi����es populares ou de bolso, tradu����es. A an��lise paratextual, mais especificamente a an��lise das capas de livros, permite-nos observar, quanto �� publica����o de literatura brasileira no exterior, que o mercado editorial estrangeiro adota com frequ��ncia, como vem ocorrendo h�� d��cadas, a op����o com forte apelo ao exotismo tropical: paisagens cariocas, frutas coloridas, bi��tipos negro ou mesti��o. Em algumas ocasi��es, entretanto, notamos a preocupa����o na correspond��ncia tem��tica ou de g��nero com a obra. Em ambos os casos os resultados podem ser surpreendentes, bem sucedidos ou provocar malentendidos e interpreta����es amb��guas. Propomos neste trabalho a aprecia����o e a an��lise de alguns desses casos em autores de literatura brasileira traduzidos e consagrados no exterior como escritores de literatura policial e suas vertentes: Rubem Fonseca, Patr��cia Melo, Garcia-Roza e Tony Bellotto, come��ando por Rubem Fonseca.

This study with qualitative nature aims to analyze the impact of external factors on mood states, considering physical activity as an important factor to improve not only the physical, but also psychological factors, especially when we think of the activities performed in-group. Thus, a literature review was conducted in order to investigate in books, journals, scientific papers published in magazines, newspapers and electronic platforms the influence of exercise on emotional states of elderly people. The terms used across the curriculum contributed to the conformity of ideas on the subject. By checking some researches, it can be seen that external factors such as music, local infrastructure, professional relationship with the elderly people and other factors have been suggested as possible influencers of humor in physical activity. Knowing the preferences beyond the close contact with the elderly student, is the best way to affect possible aspects of the activity beyond just preventing circumvention of activity, avoiding sedentary lifestyle that will bring risks to the health of the elderly people

Um momento da hist��ria da educa����o brasileira cravado na literatura: as marcas dos mecanismos disciplinares na escola do final do s��culo XIX, inscritas em O Ateneu, de Raul Pomp��ia

Historiography shows that the historical moment is inscribed in the culture of every time and place. Thus, it allows us to identify within the different modes of cultural production - therefore in the literature of a particular time, our research object - expressions of historical aspects. Furthermore, it is important that we know our own history, so that such knowledge help us to learn how to build, individually and collectively, more equitable societies. The objective of this bibliographic research nature was to identify historical aspects of the nineteenth century Brazilian education printed in O Ateneu (The Athenaeum), written in 1888 by Raul Pomp��ia. We sought for narrative passages that could reveal usual educational practices in the time context of our work in order to better understand a historical period that contributed to the establishment of our current education
