This study aimed to identify the conceptions of learning difficulties of teachers working in the beginning years of elementary education. In order to analyze such conceptions from the perspective of inclusive education, the study was carried out in two schools in a city of the State of Paraná. Sixteen teachers (mean age of 41 years) participated in the study. Of these, only one had no higher education. Interviews were carried out individually in the teachers` schools. The interviews were conducted with the support of a topic outline including: aspects of classroom management of the classes in which teachers worked; how to identify students with learning disabilities; causes of learning difficulties; how the school can help a student with learning difficulties. Each interview lasted 50 minutes on average. They were transcribed in full and submitted to thematic analysis. Four categories of analysis were determined: characterization of educational institutions' proposal; conceptions on the identification of students with learning difficulties; conceptions about causes of learning difficulties; possibilities for assisting students with learning difficulties. The results indicated that the main factors reported by the participants on the characterization of pupils with learning difficulties were of the cognitive order. The data also showed that the teachers based their opinions on family aspects in order to focus on causes of learning difficulties; they attributed the largest parcel of responsibility for solving such situations to students' families. One of the main conclusions of this study allowed us to consider that the schools that were investigated reported a practice that doesn't meet the inclusive education assumptions, denoted by the attempt to homogenize regular classes.

Níveis de sobrecarga, ansiedade e depressão de cuidadores de pacientes com doença de Alzheimer participantes e não participantes de grupos de apoio

Currently , as a result of the significant increase in the number of elderly, one can observe an increase in the number of chronic diseases , among them Alzheimer's disease (AD) , which affects both patients and their caregivers , that due care with the patient , just overwhelmed , anxious and depressed. Therefore, this study aims to draw a profile of caregivers of Alzheimer's patients, correlating the physical activity of patients with levels of overload, anxiety, depression caregivers. For both sample consisted of 40 patients with AD to characterize the physical activity levels and perform activities of daily living. In addition, we evaluated 40 caregivers. Patient assessment was made through a medical history, beyond the score Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR), Mini - Mental State Examination (MMSE), Modified Baecke Questionnaire for Older Adults (MBQ) , Functional Activities Questionnaire PFEFFER (QAFP) , and the Self Perception Performance in Activities of Daily Living (EAPAVD). For assessing the caregiver was also used an interview, then the Neuropsychiatric Inventory (NPI), anxiety and depression scale (HAD) Scale and the Zarit caregiver burden (Zarit). The data were processed using descriptive procedures for the analysis of characterization of samples, such as cognitive screening and physical activity level and profile of caregivers. There was a normal distribution of the data using the Shapiro Wilk, For data with normal distribution were used parametric descriptive procedures using One Way ANOVA to compare groups and applying a post hoc Bonferroni. As for the data that showed the destruction not normal was used to standardize the test by Z -score , and then treated by means of parametric statistical procedures , as presented earlier . Avaliação da política curricular paulista: perspectiva docente sobre os cadernos do professor e do aluno

The current curriculum policy of the Secretary of Education in the State of Sao Paulo introduced into the education environment the Registrar of Teacher and Student - support material to ease the teacher's work and the student's learning, in order to address all the curriculum components created as strategy of learning. The resulting guidelines that aim to transform the everyday policies of educational institutions and the individuals who compose them, are incorporated into the school experience. These decisions, however, do not transfer into life outside the learning environment nor are they translated into the work of the teachers exactly as their creators intended. Thus, in order to better understand the curriculum policies introduced by the Registrar in schools, it is essential to comprehend the viewpoint of the teachers who themselves are both the targets and agents of curriculum policy, and later the Registrar. Trilha do patrimônio histórico, passado que vira presente: publicação de apoio pedagógico que busca estabelecer um elo entre a história e o meio ambiente

Por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, a prefeitura do município de Botucatu implantou, em 2005, um de seus mais importantes projetos de educação complementar, a Escola do Meio Ambiente (EMA). Desde a sua fundação, a EMA tem por objetivo desenvolver e apoiar práticas pedagógicas e pesquisas, que visam à conscientização e responsabilidade socioambiental. Dentre suas diversas atividades, está a Trilha Interpretativa do Patrimônio Histórico, voltada, principalmente, para o 1º e o 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental. O caminho interpretado resgata a cidadania, proporcionando ao aluno recuperar as memórias históricas da cidade, reafirmar a sua identidade e consequentemente, buscar a sua valorização pessoal e social. A história do município começa a sair de um misterioso e velho baú. O momento possibilita abrir espaço para a arte da narrativa. Um cocar fala da cultura indígena, um chapéu de palha, nos leva à época dos tropeiros e um mapa de feltro exemplifica o processo de imigração. Ao término da vivência, os educandos saem à rua, para conhecer, em detalhes, os prédios que ajudaram a construir a nossa história. Através dos métodos de avaliação, utilizados nesses três anos, anotações sobre as observações feitas em trilhas e questionários respondidos pelos professores, pudemos constatar que os alunos sabem muito pouco sobre a cidade e que possuem dificuldade de relacionar fatos históricos com a sua própria existência e com as mudanças que promovem no meio. Observou-se que além de tratar com descaso os prédios históricos, os alunos não conseguem citar dados sobre a fauna e a flora local. Ações de apoio à gestão das Unidades de Conservação e o Programa RPPN Paulistas da Fundação Florestal

A Fundação para a Conservação e a Produção Florestal do Estado de São Paulo – Fundação Florestal, órgão vinculado a secretaria do Meio Ambiente, tem por objetivo contribuir para a conservação, manejo e ampliação das florestas de proteção e produção do Estado de São Paulo. A regional de Botucatu atua na gestão de Unidades de Conservação (UC), sendo elas a APA (Área de Proteção Ambiental) Corumbataí – Botucatu - Tejupá, a APA Ibitinga e a APA Rio Batalha. APA é uma UC de uso sustentável destinada a proteger e conservar a qualidade ambiental e os sistemas naturais ali existentes. Além disso, atua também na criação de Unidades de Conservação, em especial as RPPNs (Reservas Particulares do Patrimônio Natural), que é uma categoria de UC privada, com o objetivo de conservar a diversidade biológica. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo descrever as atividades realizadas durante o período de estágio, em especial aquelas voltadas ao Programa RPPN Paulistas da Fundação Florestal. Sabendo que a RPPN representa uma importante participação da sociedade na conservação da biodiversidade e da grande dificuldade encontrada pelos proprietários na gestão de sua reserva, com o objetivo de ampliar as estratégias do Programa RPPN Paulistas, foi desenvolvido uma entrevista com os proprietários mediante um questionário, estruturado em 5 partes, sendo elas: quanto à criação da RPPN, quanto à gestão da RPPN (Plano de Proteção e Plano de Manejo), quanto às atividades desenvolvidas na reserva, quanto ao grau de satisfação, e comentários finais, críticas e sugestões. Das 62 RPPNs reconhecidas no Estado de São Paulo, 21 proprietários participaram da pesquisa. Foi identificada a importância de parcerias entre proprietários de RPPN e as universidades. Depressão e apoio social percebido por mães de crianças hospitalizadas

This study was performed as a requirement of the final course in Nursing. The study is cross-cutting, in order to identify associations between socioeconomic factors, education, child hospitalization in the ICU or not, degree of depression and level of social support (material, affective, emotional, informational and positive social interaction) and how to identify subgroups of mother - child vulnerable. Constitute themselves as subjects, mothers of children 0 to 17 years, 11 months and 29 days in hospital after the second day of hospitalization in the pediatric unit of a State Hospital Interior Paulista. Data collection was initiated after obtaining the assent of the Research Ethics Committee, as well as signing the consent form. We used the following instruments to collect data: the data form for socioeconomic and hospitalization; Beck Depression Inventory and Medical Outcomes Study (MOS). We obtained the result that there is a strong association between availability and social support and income per capita and the degree of depression, but did not find an association between time and hospital stay and whether the child was admitted to the ICU or not. We conclude that it is necessary to establish treatment services from the patient’s family, plus an appropriate social service support to meet this big demand for mothers who need support

A organização dos espaços físicos das instituições regulares de ensino e suas contribuições no aprendizado das crianças portadoras de necessidades especiais

O presente trabalho tem como proposta discutir a respeito da organização dos espaços públicos destinados às pessoas portadoras de necessidades especiais. Procura analisar como a questão da acessibilidade vem sendo tratada, nas escolas e no meio urbano, além de identificar, no município de Rio Claro quais as adaptações/adequações foram realizadas recentemente, no sentido de garantir maior acessibilidade aos seus munícipes. O objetivo é o de analisar como se dá a adequação desses espaços e sua contribuição para a vida das pessoas. Constitui-se em pesquisa qualitativa de referencial bibliográfico pautada no levantamento de autores que problematizem a questão do espaço físico, e suas relações com a inclusão, a deficiência e a acessibilidade. Efeitos e tendências dos processos de convergência nos modelos de produção jornalística: ecossistema, audiência, instituições e agentes locais em análise

The research aims to analyze the main changes in the concepts of the processes of production and consumption of news content information. The theoretical framework used will be the new consequent social, economic and technological paradigms of the current scenario of convergence of platforms, content and languages. The research aims to investigate the changes in the macro environment of journalistic production and, therefore, examine whether the local flow of news content meets the requirements of a new public consumption target set by the new Brazilian generations, composed of young people influenced by the cultures of computing, audiovisual communication and also by economic and cultural globalization. As expansion of the analyzes sought to verify the impact of these changes in the current models of traditional media, as well as the interference caused and trends in models of existing production. Also a case study is performed on this production flow in comparison with current market research of Jornal da Cidade (JC) of the city of Bauru (SP), the main media of the Grupo Comunicação. The intent of the approach will be to establish some preambles to assist in bringing the theory with the practical impacts on journalistic production, its agents, institutions and the workplace

Bases para criação de um Centro de Voluntariado na UNESP - Guaratinguetá

Volunteering is seen as a form of citizen participation enabling to involve, mobilize, engage and articulate people and institutions around issues of collective interest. Both for the volunteer and for the community involved, voluntary action can promote learning, new experiences and interaction with people previously unknown, as well as create opportunities for professional and personal growth. (CENTRO DE VOLUNTARIADO DE SÃO PAULO, 2012). This work starts from a survey conducted in 2006 by Carvalho, who detected the interest of members of the campus community Guaratinguetá UNESP in performing volunteer work. Its objective is to continue the work mentioned and think of ways to support volunteering in the Guaratinguetá Engineering College, mainly through the creation of connections between stakeholders (individuals and institutions). For this, focused Volunteer Centers and their functional models. Such a center could be the ideal facilitator of relationships between volunteer candidates that integrate FEG / UNESP community and institutions interested in the collaboration of these people. The work highlighted the benefits that voluntary action can bring to those involved in it, and the role that a Volunteer Center at UNESP Guaratinguetá may play, in the promotion and expansion of social activities already undertaken. The study also indicates the need for a validation of the proposals presented here and later detailing way of acting of the Centre in its institutional placement and maintenance costs

The society of the information brings with it a lot of changes day by day of the organizations, mainly for characterizing as a flexible society, in net and ruled in technological progress. The contemporary organizations are inserted in that reality and they need be maintained in markets more and more competitive. The Private Institutions of Higher education enter in this logic for they be organizations with lucrative ends that suffer strong influence of the external and internal atmosphere. To stand out, such Institutions need to count with a strategic administration, ruled in an own strategic planning for the branch in that acts. The professional of public relationships is shown capable to develop their main functions in such complex market. For so much it needs to participate in the global planning of the Private Institutions of Higher education, at the same time in that it develops it planning of the communication, intrinsic to the global strategic planning. Física de partículas no ensino médio: uma análise de materiais para apoio didático

This work consisted in analysing five materials which mean respect to subjects related to Particle Physics, aiming to explore their potentialities for the use in the High School levels, particularly by physics teachers. On this perspective, we sought to describe the contents of each material and point out their potentialities as material of didactic support. They are: 1. The purpose of Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo, presented in the Teacher's Guide of the Program São Paulo faz escola; 2. The Game Sprace Game, elaborated by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN); 3. The book O discreto charme das partículas elementares, written by the professor Maria Cristina Abdalla; 4. The video O discreto charme das partículas elementares, based on the book of Professor Maria Cristina Abdalla which was produced by TV Cultura in association with the Ministério da Educação e Cultura” (MEC). The book Partículas elementares no ensino médio: uma abordagem a partir do LHC written by Wagner Franklin Balthazar and Alexandre Lopes de Oliveira, from the collection CBPF - Tópicos de Física. The work was constructed on a qualitative perspective, that is, it did not attempt to quantify the help that each material could offer to Physics teaching. One sought to describe and analyse, from different theoretical frames, their potentialities for the use in the High School level. The results indicate that all the materials analysed can contribute to the Physics teaching, and beyond, as they own format and approches distinct from the subject, they can be used as a whole or in parts, together or separately, depending on the objectives to be reached and on the profile of the target public
