Considerações e avaliações das solicitações em estruturas de edificações de paredes de concreto pré-moldado utilizando o modelo de pórtico tridimensional: estudo de caso

The present study is in reference to precast concrete (panels) walls as the main structural system. The diversification of the structural systems is a reality due to specific characteristics', as a result there is a lack of study and analysis. Some systems are already established in their applications, for instance: conventional reinforced concrete, structural masonry, metal structures, and wood structure. Apart from this precast concrete elements has had a growth in building sites in Brazil, therefore professionals should be more aware. Affordable house funding initiatives to address the housing shortage has been recurrent throughout the country, additionally precast concrete walls has been an alternative that meets the three basic concepts of engineering, which are: the technique, economy, and security. The objective of this study is to gather concepts from the literature and TOMO (2012) about precast concrete walls and make a didactic synthesis of how they are viewed. The modeling structure method of the system was performed following the concept of assigning bars, using the computer program of calculations SAP2000. Initially will be presented a theoretical part, furthermore a case study to illustrate the sizing of the walls using EXCEL tables programmed with calculation routine. The results will be presented in calculated efforts by the program for further analysis. Finally, will be highlighted important items of modeling and interpretation of the results

Estudo da velocidade de despassivação de aços em estruturas de concreto armado, em meio de cloreto

The aim of the present study was to investigate the corrosion resistance in chloride medium of two cylindrical steel samples from civil construction (CA-50 and CA-60). For this purpose, electrochemical measurements were performed in NaCl solution, 4.0 g/L, naturally aerated. According to electrochemical responses, it was observed an active dissolution process at open circuit potential for both steels. In this comparative study, the differences between CA-50 and CA60 were not significant, since the values of polarization resistance estimated by EIS were the same order of magnitude for both types of steel (oscillating between 200 and 500 Ohm). For all evaluated thicknesses of concrete reinforcement, these values ranged between 2 and 9 kOhm, and the lower value was associated with lower thickness, particularly at 7, 21 and 35 days. When these results were compared with those determined for the CA-60, it was found that the layer of concrete reinforcement provide a protection against corrosion in chloride medium at least ten times larger

A total of 3.035 lactations of Holstein cows from four farms in the Southeast, to check the influence of data structure of milk yield on the genetic parameters. Four dataset with different structures were tested, weekly controls (CW) with 122.842 controls, monthly controls (CM) 30.883, bimonthly controls (CB) with 15,837 and quarterly controls (CQ) with 12,702. The random regression model was used and was considered as random additive genetic and permanent environment effects, fixed effects of the contemporary groups (herd-year-month of test-day) and age of cow (linear and quadratic effects). Heritability estimates showed similar trends among the data files analyzed, with the greatest similarity between dataset CS, CM and CB. The dataset submitted all the CB estimates of genetic parameters analyzed with the same trend and similar magnitude to the CS and CM dataset, allowing the claim that there was no influence of the data structure on estimates of covariance components for the dataset CS, CM and CB. Thus, milk recording could be accomplished in a CB structure.

O estudo errado e a escola conivente: a escola como reprodutora das estruturas do capitalismo

A escola possui um papel fundamental em nossa estrutura social contemporânea ocidental. Ela interage dialeticamente com nossa sociedade sendo um local reprodutor e alterador de valores, crenças e hábitos em que quase todos frequentam por mais de uma década. Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como objetivo trazer reflexões sobre a função da escola, a quem ela serve e porque, analisando a música Estudo Errado de Gabriel, o Pensador, dialogando com autores que abordam a escola em uma perspectiva crítica, como os críticosreprodutivistas, Althusser e Bourdieu, mas também com Gramsci, Foucault, entre outros. Os questionamentos sobre a função da escola e seus interesses constantemente são feitos de maneira superficial e se aprofundados poderiam colaborar para uma maior criticidade e transformação do cotidiano e da prática escolar. A pesquisa se desenvolverá em uma abordagem qualitativa e a metodologia utilizada será pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental, através da análise de conteúdo. Meu intuito com este trabalho é discorrer sobre as forças que direcionam a escola, desconstruir a aparente neutralidade que a escola possui no imaginário popular e trazer a tona que a escola é produto de um conflito social

Um modelo cognitivo baseado na atenção para consciência em robôs inteligentes

Understanding consciousness is one of the most fascinating challenges of our time. From ancient civilizations to modern philosophers, questions have been asked on how one is conscious of his/her own existence and about the world that surrounds him/her. Although there is no precise definition for consciousness, there is an agreement that it is strongly related to human cognitive processes such as: thinking, reasoning, emotions, wishes. One of the key processes to the arising of the consciousness is the attention, a process capable of promoting a selection of a few stimuli from a huge amount of information that reaches us constantly. Machine consciousness is the field of the artificial intelligence that investigate the possibility of the production of conscious processes in artificial devices. This work presents a review about the theme of consciousness - in both natural and artificial aspects -, discussing this theme from the philosophical and computational perspectives, and investigates the feasibility of the adoption of an attentional schema as the base to the cognitive processing. A formal computational model is proposed for conscious agents that integrates: short and long term memories, reasoning, planning, emotion, decision making, learning, motivation and volition. Computer experiments in a mobile robotics domain under USARSim simulation environment, proposed by RoboCup, suggest that the agent can be able to use these elements to acquire experiences based on environment stimuli. The adoption of the cognitive architecture over the attentional model has potential to allow the emergence of behaviours usually associated to the consciousness in the simulated mobile robots. Further implementation under this model could potentially allow the agent to express sentience, selfawareness, self-consciousness, autonoetic consciousness, mineness and perspectivalness. Angiogenesis occurs as a physiologic process and is essential for normal growth and development of tissue. The ovary and its structures need adequate vascular network to ensure the availability of oxygen, nutrients, hormones, substrate, and ensure the transfer of different hormones to target cells. Then, the proper formation of this network is a limiting step for the proper functioning of this organ in general. In recent years, the local blood flow of the ovary, has been examined by color Doppler ultrasound, being able to analyze the individual follicles and the corpus luteum.
