The aim of this study was to use systematic teaching in a clinical setting using software to teach reading and writing in one boy with learning difficulties and obtain accurate performance in dictation. In the pre-test, the student showed good performance in matching-to-sample tasks (96% in matching printed words to dictated words; 88% in matching pictures to dictated words), although he obtained a low percentage of correct answers in the dictation of constructed responses (52%) and manuscripts (24%). The teaching strengthened the selection of printed words matched to dictated words and copying words. The student obtained 100% correct answers in the teaching tasks. In post-tests of dictation, he obtained 100% correct answers in constructed response and 96% correct answers in manuscripts. The results indicate that carefully teaching copying may promote accuracy in the performance of responding to minimal units in dictation tasks.

Currently the most widespread material used in dies is gypsum that together with its simple technique has very satisfactory mechanical, chemical and physical properties. However, its compactibility with the impression materials can compromise the die surface quality. In our work, we studies the hardness of the two gypsum types: Type III (die stone) and type IV (improved die stone), as well as the influence of the contact with three types of impression materials: polymerized silicone for condensation (Xantopren), polysulfide (Permlastic) and polymerized silicone by addition (Provil). The goal of this research was to characterize written stories, produced by students, without complaint of language development (oral and written), from pictographic support. In a specific way, it has been searched, in those stories, elements that could grant coherence, applying that performance with the participants’ profile variables. It was characterized as a descriptive-exploratory study, held at a rural municipal school in the State of Parana. Twenty-one (21) students of both genders and ages between seven and nine years old have participated in this study. Data collection consisted of two narratives requests: one oral, after being released, to the child, four pictures placed in sequence to form a story, and one written. This writing production had been taken for the analysis. The results have indicated that most children (71.42%) managed to produce coherent stories, seventeen (80%) in story 1 and thirteen (61%) in story 2. As to the relation of that coherence with the students’ profile in story 1, there has been no statistically significant association, for none of the analyzed variables (gender, age and education), whereas there has been a statistically significant association with gender in story 2 (p-value 0.027). It is considered that the use of the pictographic support in developing stories have been confirmed as a facilitating strategy for its construction, for it has enabled the production of coherent narratives.

This study aimed to characterize and to compare the performance of students with an interdisciplinary diagnosis of dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in students with good academic performance on the reading processes. Sixty students from both genders, from 2nd to 4th grades of municipal public schools in Marília - SP participated in this study, they were distributed as follows: GI, 20 students with interdisciplinary diagnosis of dyslexia; GII, 20 students with ADHD and GIII, 20 students with good academic performance, paired according to gender, age and grade level with GI and GII. The students were submitted to the application of the assessment of reading processes (PROLEC) composed by four processes: letters identification, lexical, syntactical and semantic. The results highlighted that the students of GIII showed superior performance comparing with GI and GII. There was difference between GI and GII only in low frequency word reading and non words reading of the lexical process. The inferior performance from GI and GII in the PROLEC tests can be justified by the difficulty on the coding and decoding abilities. In ADHD students this difficulty was due to impaired interaction between the visual, linguistic, attention and auditory processing and in the dyslexic students was due to failure at the phonological mediation process, which depends on the knowledge of rules of grapheme - phoneme conversion to the acquisition of word reading. These changes affect the reading achievement and the comprehension of the read text.

Dissipadores de calor recobertos com filmes de diamante CVD foram desenvolvidos para acoplar a semicondutores, utilizando-se do Laboratório de Deposição de Filmes de Diamante CVD, na UNESP - Campus de Guaratinguetá e o Laboratório de Diamantes da Universidade São Francisco, em Itatiba, SP. Analisou-se o filme de diamante CVD sobre o silício, para emprego como dissipador de calor, porque o filme de diamante CVD pode ter o valor da condutividade térmica até cinco vezes superior ao do cobre e de dez vezes a do alumínio. Os filmes foram obtidos via deposição através de reator de filamento quente, trabalhando-se com vários filamentos retilíneos em paralelo, resultando assim em um processo que visou obter um filme mais uniforme e com grande área de deposição. Os dados para análises da composição química superficial dos filmes foram obtidos por Difração de Raios-X, Dispersão de Energia de Raios-X e para a verificação da morfologia e espessura do filme foi utilizada a Microscopia Eletrônica de Varredura. Para a verificação do comportamento da temperatura sobre o dissipador com o filme de diamante CVD foi utilizada uma câmera de imagem termográfica, marca Fluke, modelo Ti 40 FT. Foram obtidos filmes de 2 e 10 ?m sobre o silício. Estas espessuras ainda não oferecem um desempenho mecânico que o torne autosustentado. Do ponto de vista de desempenho térmico as análises mostraram que, mesmo com pequena espessura, o filme de diamante CVD apresentou bom resultado experimental. Os principais desafios de construção para esse dissipador de calor são a obtenção do filme com espessura acima de um mm e a garantia da qualidade do filme com a repetitividade do processo em cujo caso torna-se necessário definir as dimensões do dissipador antes da deposição do filme.

This work presents a fast, easy, standardized and planned method to build family homes in order to collaborate with the decline of housing deficit and, at the same time, meet families who wish to invest in building their own houses, once that our country is experiencing an economical prosperity . This method has been widely used nowadays because it is being deployed in large-scale and in a standardized pattern, reducing decreasing significantly the construction time. The concrete wall, shaped in loco depends on unique processes. For this reason, a well trained staff is required so the constructive process can be executed in a fast pace, showing better results than other construction methods. This project will address all the materials used to build the molded concrete walls in loco, their sequence assembly, application, types, characteristics and performances. At the end, a way used by building companies of locating the concrete will also be given. Although there is no specific Brazilian norm for this type of construction, a study on this topic will soon be released. Therefore, the studies for the execution of this project were based on Brazilian standards prevailing at the time, construction magazines and books that are based on building methods considered more common
