Gráficos de controle de Shewhart: Duas década de pesquisa

Esta tese apresenta, de forma compacta, os trabalhos mais importantes do autor, que são frutos de uma pesquisa de vinte anos sobre gráficos de Shewhart. O autor estudou os modelos que descrevem o tipo e o instante de ocorrência das causas especiais, propôs novos esquemas de amostragens e estatísticas de monitoramento. Mais recentemente, vem avaliando a capacidade dos gráficos de controle em sinalizar causas especiais quando as observações são autocorrelacionadas e propondo novas estatísticas para o monitoramento de processos mutivariados.

Perfil materno e dos recém-nascidos nascidos vivos na primeira década do século XXI em município do interior paulista com ênfase na prematuridade

The concern with infant mortality has been a priority in public policies, especially for Brazil to achieve the Millennium Development Goal number four: reducing child mortality by 75% by the year 2015. It is known that prematurity has an intimate relationship with mortality of children under one year and therefore it is necessary an effective intervention in risk factors linked to premature births. To evaluate the profile of mothers and newborn babies living in Botucatu-SP, in the period 2001 to 2009, focusing on prematurity. A quantitative study, retrospective, descriptive, epidemiological, from the Information System Newborn Alive. The prevalence of preterm births was 15.1%, and low birth weight 14.7%. Among infants, the Apgar score below 7 at 1 and at 5 minutes was 13.1% and 2.4% respectively. Considering the total of pregnant women studied, 20.3% were adolescents and 10.3% were aged 35 years or more and most (63.2%) had eight or more years of school approval. The profile of mothers of premature infants shows that 23.6% were teenagers, 14.1% had at least 35 years and 60.4% had at least primary education. With regard to premature deliveries, caesarean sections and 58.4% were between the total newborns, this type of delivery was achieved in 46.6% of cases. Prematurity was associated with an Apgar score below seven in the first and fifth minutes of life, presence of malformation and multiple pregnancy. Among maternal variables, prematurity was associated with extremes of maternal age, maternal education, history of stillbirth, primiparas, white and presence of the mother's partner. With regard to delivery was associated with cesarean section and outside the hospital. This study assessed maternal characteristics associated with prematurity and point out how relevant the pregnancies at the extremes of age and those that occur in women with low education level, indicating the interference... Este trabalho tem por finalidade fazer uma análise do jornal Correio da Noroeste. Os cinco primeiros anos desse jornal (1930-35) de grande circulação na cidade de Bauru, localizada no oeste paulista, serão abordados através das questões urbanas, da sociedade local e da relação com as tendências jornalísticas do início do século XX. Sua importância consiste na explicitação da relação existente entre jornalismo e sociedade local, permitindo delinear os diversos posicionamentos políticos do jornal, bem como diante das transformações que ocorreram na cidade em que o diário circulava

Identificação e diagnóstico dos impactos ambientais ocorridos nos cursos d'água localizados na faixa oeste da Floresta Estadual Edmundo Navarro de Andrade (Rio Claro-SP)

Desde a década de 1930, com o crescimento da malha urbana do município de Rio Claro, a Floresta Estadual “Edmundo Navarro de Andrade” (FEENA), sofre vários tipos de pressões sobre seu patrimônio. O presente trabalho traz uma pesquisa realizada e em dois cursos d’água localizados na faixa oeste da Floresta Estadual “Edmundo Navarro de Andrade”, com a finalidade de identificar e diagnosticar alguns impactos ambientais negativos que ocorrem nestes cursos e quais os efeitos causados por estes impactos nos ambientes formados pelo córrego Lavapés e pelo Ribeirão Claro, bem como, apontar dados sobre a percepção do visitante da Unidade de Conservação frente a esta situação ambiental referentes à deterioração de um importante patrimônio paisagístico natural e cultural

O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso Jornalismo da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) baseia-se na análise de conteúdo das notícias, notas e críticas publicadas nos periódicos Gazeta de Campinas e Diário do Povo sobre as atividades e exibições dos cinco filmes realizados na cidade de Campinas na década de 1920 – João da Matta (1923), Soffrer Para Gozar (1923), Alma Gentil (1924), A Carne (1925) e Mocidade Louca (1927) – para a verificação do processo de construção da identidade cultural local. Para objetivar a análise do corpus será realizada uma contextualização histórica da cidade de Campinas, do cinema brasileiro, da imprensa e de outros fatores que irão corroborar para uma compreensão ampla da proposta a que essa monografia se propõe

O grupo escolar de São Luiz do Paraitinga: contexto histórico (décadas de 1930 a 1970)

The present work has as its theme the group of St. Louis School of Paraitinga: historical context (the 1930 to 1970). This work has the distinction the subject rarely addressed in academic, school groups in the region of Vale do Paraiba, these schools are not constant theme of research, making this differentiation materials present little used, but extremely important for understanding of education present in the region of Vale do Paraíba. For the realization was made to read the legislation in the period 1930 to 1970, the documentation provided by the Department of Education, reading and analysis of documentation presented, one can understand the historical context of the school group to be targeted by the study: School Group Colonel Domingues de Castro. Objective of this study was to understand how the group of the school of St. Louis was shaping up Paraitinga laws and guidelines in the historical context of the decades from 1930 to 1970, contextualizing historical events general and the specific events of São Luiz do Paraitinga. The methodology used is studies of educational phenomena along with the narrative-biographical study of respondents to this survey

O país passou por um período de grandes transformações no último quarto do século XX, os quais afetaram em grande medida a esfera social, política e econômica da sociedade. Dado o enfraquecimento do Estado de Bem Estar Social, e a ascensão do pensamento neoliberal nos anos 1970, houve a revisão do papel do Estado em todo o globo. Da questão agrária brasileira: uma análise sobre o debate da década de 60 e 70

This monograph object of analysis is the agriculture modernization in Brazil between 1960 and 1980, highlighting the discussion of the economic and politic ideas around the Brazilian agrarian question. The first parte presents an introduction about this issue and the theoretical positions, as well as social and economic implications for the development of the productive forces on rural areas. Nevertheless, reflections of its development to the economy as a whole, highlighting the way the income distribution and concentration was realized. On the second part its presented the agriculture modernization Project on the centralized militar government point of view, by the propositions of that time Agriculture Minister, Antônio Delfim Netto. The approach is made through the proposals precreeded by the Rural Worker Statute and the Land Statute, before the Military Coup, with its news counterpoints settled in law by the Agriculture Modernization Project installed in 1964; the concessions of funding grants and subsidized credits; the relationship between the authoritarian State and the militarization of the land conflicts. The third part deals with the salary dinamics, income and profit on the modernized rural economy created by the agroindustrial productions system. Lastly the conclusion cross the economic and social results of the agrarian question evolution, to the Brazilian agriculture modernization on income distribution

O transporte coletivo urbano em São José do Rio Preto - SP e sua relação com as transformações do espaço urbano

The process of urbanization that happened in Brazil during the twentieth century led to processes of structuring and re-organization of space, besides the emergence of many urban problems. Industrialization and urbanization are some of the main causes that could be cited as consequences of this process. As a result of the steep rise of cities, the transport systems became fundamental in boosting flows (immaterial) and the mobility of people and stuff (materials) in the territory. The urban model created for the city of São Paulo in the 1930s was repeated over the years in the medium-sized cities, being repeated the same problems that occurred in the metropolis. In this context our work fits in analyzing the changes occurring in the urban area of São José do Rio Preto - SP, from his relationship with the public transportation system in the face of intra-urban spatial configuration of the city. Transport, while it is recognized by authors as being really important for the analysis and intra-urban spatial configuration, has been little analyzed as the object of study by a geographer, and so, our work has more value
