Em que sentido(s) é radical o Behaviorismo Radical?

The use of the adjective radical to identify the variety of behaviorism proposed by Skinner is current nowadays. However, historically, this qualifier was not exclusively applied to Skinner's proposal and its polysemy tends to generate inaccuracies in the interpretation of what characterizes Skinner's Radical Behaviorism. This article aims to clarify the most appropriate sense of radical when applied to Skinner's behaviorism by means of four articulated activities: (1) the description of the etymological origins of the word radical and its different meanings in Portuguese, Spanish and English, (2) a reconstruction and analysis of the evolution of a historical setting that culminated in the use of the term in the behaviorist context, (3) an analysis of the main meanings of radical when associated with behaviorism, (4) an examination of some ways in which the use of the term associated with behaviorism is consistent, and the current and future implications for Radical Behaviorism and Behavior Analysis in a scientific context.

Rede de coautoria institucional em Ciência da Informação: uma comparação entre indicadores de rede e os conceitos CAPES

The objective of this is study is to point inter-institutional partnerships in Information Science formed through co-authorship network. More specifically, we calculate indicators of centrality degree, betweenness centrality and closeness centrality, and analyze the relationships between the grades attributed by CAPES - Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - to the institutions and the indicators on the network, checking whether there is proximity and similarity between network indicators and CAPES's grades. Our corpus consisted of all articles published in the four journals in the field of Information Science in Brazil, with regular publications, based in SciVerse Scopus, for the 2010- 2012 period. We retrieved 237 articles, 58 co-authored, with 117 participant institutions. We conducted the analysis of relations between institutions with greater grades by CAPES and the network through centrality indicators. It was concluded that these network indicators and CAPES concepts are articulated, harmonizing these two categories of indicators.

The paper analyzes the Articulated Action Plan of the municipality of Itabaiana, in the state of Sergipe, for the period 2008 – 2011, by identifying the actions and sub-actions under the local government’s responsibility, as well as those actions depending on the support of the Brazilian Department of Education which have been fully implemented, partially implemented and not implemented. The analysis demonstrates the potential of the Plan as a management tool to assist the council in recognizing and systematizing the reality they live in, also making evident its limits as an instrument for triggering the actions and sub-actions prescribed.

With reference to curricular changes proposed by the CNE Resolution 1 /2002 and CNE 2/2002 on Teacher Education in Basic Education teaching degree - this study aims to analyze the new professional profile proposed in curriculum pedagogy , Physical Education , Science Biology , Mathematics , Physics and Geography . Within the curriculum guidelines was observed in a more normative articulated curriculum, focused on action-reflection- action. A guided design in practical rationality and the skills set without breaking the commitment of the public university with emancipation and quality education . Although there is this understanding we must also attend to the care that must be given to the new guidelines , based on the same reveal great concern with vocational training , with its instrumentation , with the pragmatic and utilitarian dimension of the training process . It is noteworthy that throughout the twentieth century in Brazil , where he fought for educational policies that were to solidify the construction of teacher identity , but the gains have largely remained restricted to the issue of educational reforms and a roster of disciplines , called pedagogical varnish . Therefore, this work is to deepen this thematic perspective , studying the identity of the teacher in the new curriculum design presented by undergraduate courses . Biomateriais e terapia celular na reparação da cartilagem articular em equinos

Articular cartilage is the structure that coats the bone ends in regions where two bones are articulated, allowing movement. It has inefficient intrinsic and extrinsic mechanisms of repair, usually resulting in fibrocartilage formation after injury. Such repair have lower strength, stiffness and usability features when compared to hyaline cartilage. The mesenchymal stem cells have the potential to regenerate tissue without the production of scar, and because of this feature it is well studied. But to have its maximum chondrogenic potential, it is necessary to use scaffolds and growth factors. Biomaterials play the role of scaffold for the cells allowing them to become attached, grow and produce extracellular matrix, leading to formation of repair with hyaline cartilage. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to provide information on the various studies using cell therapy and / or biomaterials to produce hyaline cartilage
