Análise do gerenciamento de projetos de produtos na área de desenvolvimento de motores em uma indústria automotiva

L'un des facteurs nécessaires pour qu’une entreprise reste compétitive sur le marché est la création ou l'amélioration d'un produit afin qu’il réponde aux besoins et aux attentes des clients, ainsi, le Processus de Développement de Produits (PDP) est essentiel. Pour la réussite du PDP, il est souhaitable de suivre un système standard de gestion de projet. L'objectif de cette étude est d'analyser la gestion de projets dans le processus de développement de produits dans l'industrie automobile afin d'identifier les possibilités d’amélioration. Par conséquent, nous avons procédé à une revue de littérature sur le sujet, analysé les lignes directrices et les pratiques du processus de développement de produit dans l’entreprise. Comme résultat, il a été obtenu que le système de développement de produits créé par l’entreprise requiert la clarification des outils utiles à la gestion de projet. Un problème de communication et de gestion des coûts a également été constaté dans le domaine du développement du moteur lourd

Análise doprojeto de expansãode um armazém por meio da elaboração de um layout e análise de investimento: estudo de caso em uma fábrica do setor alimentício

The proper management of materials storage is essential to supply the needs of production and reduce the inventory costs. Moreover, an effective layout contributes to improve the productivity and reduce the operational costs of a warehouse. This way, the purpose of this study was: to propose an expansion project to the warehouse of a factory in the food sector, suggesting a layout that best fit their needs and to verify its economic feasibility. To achieve this goal, it was applied methods such as ABC curve, spaghetti diagram and concepts of economics engineering to the analysis of investment in the project. The results showed that the second layout model was better than the first, supporting the storage capacity required by the company and presenting an internal movement more efficient. However, with the investment analysis, it was found that it was not feasible, given the conditions of the company, investing in the expansion of the warehouse

Análise de desempenho de lâmpadas LEDs e LFCs como alternativas em iluminação residencial em função da implementação da portaria ministerial n° 1007 que limita o uso de lâmpadas incandescentes no Brasil

With the imposition of the suspension of production and subsequent banning of incandescent light bulbs will be necessary to replace it by other more energy-efficient. Although the main alternative is the compact fluorescent lamp, the environmental impact caused by it due to incorrect disposal and the amount of harmonics included in the network resulting in losses related to the quality of electric power system makes them sought new alternatives for lighting systems that are efficient and have low environmental impact. In this context, the LED (Lighting Emitting Diode), based on solid-state components, is presented as an option for new projects and replacement of existing lighting. In this work we studied aspects of energy, environmental and economic impacts of a possible replacement of conventional lighting systems for new technology. From laboratory tests and surveys of the costs of different types of lamps used for residential lighting, we performed a comparative analysis considering energy and economic aspects which showed that the LED technology, but has a high initial investment, it is best when power quality and environmental preservation are relevant factors in decision making for the choice of technology to be used in the lighting system

Investimento reprodutivo em fêmeas de populações sintópicas de Dendropsophus nanus (Boulenger, 1889) e D. sanborni (Schmidt, 1944) (Anura: Hylidae)

As espécies estudadas neste projeto, Dendropsophus nanus e Dendropsophus sanborni, são pererecas de pequeno porte, morfologicamente semelhantes e ocupam nichos similares. O presente trabalho foi realizado na Floresta Estadual Edmundo Navarro de Andrade, município de Rio Claro, estado de São Paulo e teve como objetivo obter informações acerca da biologia reprodutiva de ambas as espécies. Os principais resultados obtidos foram referentes à: (1) Relações de tamanho-fecundidade em fêmeas de D. nanus, sendo que foi significativa a correlação entre número de ovos e comprimento rostro-cloacal de fêmeas, o que não ocorreu para correlações entre tamanho dos ovos e CRC de fêmeas e entre tamanho e número de ovos, (2) Seleção do tamanho dos machos em D. nanus, com as fêmeas aparentemente acasalando com machos proporcionalmente mais leves e (3) Comportamento de desova de D. sanborni semelhante ao relatado para D. werneri, havendo dois tipos de interação parecidos: um envolvendo movimentos da cabeça e o outro das patas traseiras do macho, ambos descritos pela primeira vez para D. sanborni neste estudo.

Os professores e o consumo de projetos que chegam à escola: o caso do Projeto Lego Education

O estudo proposto focaliza o modo como os professores recebem, consomem e se apropriam de projetos educativos que são implementados nas escolas de ensino fundamental. Trata-se de um estudo de caso que focaliza a implementação, iniciada em 2008, do Projeto Lego Education em escolas de uma rede municipal de ensino no interior paulista. A implementação do referido projeto insere-se em um contexto mais amplo marcado pelo crescimento de um “rentável mercado formativo” (Nóvoa, 1999) entre nós atualmente. Diante desse contexto, surge uma questão: Como foi, para os professores daquela rede de ensino, a inserção do Projeto Lego Education em seu trabalho docente e como os mesmos lidam com o projeto atualmente? Para tentar responder a essa questão o presente estudo foi realizado com os professores que foram capacitados e atuaram na implementação do projeto, a partir de entrevistas semi-estruturadas e observações. Objetivou-se investigar como o referido projeto foi apropriado (de Certeau, 1994) pelos professores na sua implementação e como os mesmos percebem o projeto atualmente. Pretendeu-se identificar, assim, maneiras pelas quais os professores relacionam-se com materiais didáticos, livros/guias do professor e cursos de capacitação docente ligados ao Projeto Lego Education, procurando caracterizar as maneiras como os mesmos se apropriam e consomem (de Certeau, 1994) tais produtos que lhes são dirigidos. Nesse estudo foi realizada também a análise de documentos relacionados ao Projeto Lego Education (sites das empresas envolvidas, manuais e revistas, entre outros materiais), focando em como esses materiais se referem ao professor e sua prática em sala de aula. The expansion of the electrical system is currently a subject of great importance to the development of Brazil. For its realization, large projects are needed, requiring large-scale investment and realization processes of great complexity. Thus, this type of project has a high strategic importance for the performance of companies that conduct. Seeking a way to determine a method to align traditional practices for measuring quality to the corporate strategic needs, this work is the study of the use of the balanced scorecard methodology, applying quality management and operational excellence, with a focus on projects in power systems. We analyzed some cases of successful application of the methodology in business segments in the next study, culminating in a proposed model of the method

Collaborative Systems are designed to support individuals in order to solve a problem together, or cooperatively (or collaboratively). Such systems have the advantage of not requiring the presence in the same location of the participants. The basis of any Collaborative System is communication, where users interact with each other in order to exchange information. Communication among individuals is accomplished through collaborative tools such as chat, email, document repository, etc.. Using these tools, companies can reduce operational costs, saving on travel and accommodation of its employees to attend meetings. The project members only need a computer with internet access to use collaborative tools. Project management is essential to the quality of the nal product. To perform a proper management, methodologies must be applied using methods, tools and procedures. There are some phases that are considered generic for all software process models, they are: de nition, development, maintenance and activity to support the software process. In this paper is described a platform for project management using the concepts and features of Collaborative Systems. The goal of this platform is to unify various collaborative tools (such as chat and document repository) in a project management system. Proposta de um processo de categorização de fornecedores para a execução de projetos

Nowadays, in business environment, organizations seek to differentiate through special programs and plans, taking the concepts of sustainability, performance and benefits generated for society. Based in this competitive environment, as companies depend on the use of subcontractors to perform services for your different customers, the work performed by them is directly related to the vision created by the final customer’s vision of the company responsible for the project. Considering that the supplier hired to execute the project does not share the strategic concepts related to the level of services to be offered to the final customers, thus creating the need to develop methods that enable the alignment between the project owner, responsible for preparing the executive project, and the supplier, responsible for the execution of the work. Tangent to this need, it was necessary to create a method of evaluation and categorization for suppliers to hired for the projects. As a result it has been proposed a process of categorization of suppliers, through the restriction of possible companies to be hired for a project designed to promote alignment between strategies and continuous improvement of the solutions offered to the market

Arquitetura educacional: edifício escolar

O ensino básico elementar e complementar é um elemento primordial para o desenvolvimento humano (aluno) e é a fonte da sabedoria e da ampliação do conhecimento científico. Para desenvolvimento e crescimento populacional de um país é fundamental o investimento, ou ampliação da rede educacional. A falta do número suficiente das escolas e professores nos últimos anos tem sido a maior preocupação dos alunos e também do Ministério da Educação Nacional em Bissau, mas com a falta das condições financeiras e da coordenadoria dos projetos educacionais o País acaba de abarcar tais situações. A procura do ensino básico elementar e complementar (liceu) no interior do País foi e ainda é até hoje, uma das causas do êxodo rural. Antigamente o enquadramento dos filhos dos agricultores na escola era visto para os pais como o abandono da família principalmente nos trabalhos domésticos e do campo/lavora; devido a falta das escolas eles são obrigados de abandonar regiões deles a fim de procurar as escolas, ou seja, escola que atende os seus níveis escolares, mas hoje em dia com mentalidade diferente em relação ao passado todas as pessoas querem adquirir ensino, ou seja, a formação educacional. Com as experiências vividas ao longo do período em Guiné-Bissau nos últimos anos, a rede de ensino não cresce proporcionalmente em relação ao crescimento populacional, muitas das vezes as suas ampliações sempre foram feitas através de uma forma provisória e desconfortável aos seus usuários. Então a idéia da criação de um novo complexo, ou projeto do Edifício Escolar para a República da Guiné-Bissau ajudará futuramente para o desenvolvimento do País, isto é, se for implantados em Bissau e multiplicados no interior da Guiné-Bissau. Análise dos problemas de comunicação permeados pela cultura organizacional e estrutura de gestão de projetos em uma empresa na área da construção

In a supplier of building products were identified difficulties in communication between the Product Development area and other areas of the company that could spoil projects and processes. The process of product development is important in placing the company in the market, and through research and planning, design new products and seek to comply with the costumer in relation to deadlines, quality and cost-effective. The development of a product involves many areas in the company and communication is essential in this process. The goal of this study was to identify possible communication problems permeated by organizational culture and structure of project management working in the company. A survey was applied using a Likert scale in three different areas of the company, with questions including the topics: communication, culture and organizational structure of project management and subsequently conducted the median test and the Spearman test to analysis of responses. With the understanding and analysis of the survey it was confirmed the difficulties of communication between people and the areas of the company, besides there is an influence of the type of culture acting in the company and the current management structure of the project in a good performance of internal communication

Um estudo de novos paradigmas na realização de projetos de instalação elétrica residencial (automação)

Through awareness of new trends of consumption of the population with regard to housing, comfort, entertainment, security and sustainability, it was crafted a work that set out to study and develop the concept of home automation and how it will revolutionize the electrical installation projects and energy savings. A pre-wiring project, taking into account, basically, the installed load, is presented as a basis for comparison. The protocols for communication between intelligent devices in an automation environment, used in the work, are the X-10, LonWorks and UPnP. The home network is studied and divided into subsystems, for a better understanding, which are the lighting, audio, video and multimedia system, security, air conditioning and central vacuum system, and the idea of integrated design and system integrator is introduced, showing the change necessity in the design philosophy of electrical installations. The main means of energy savings in an automated home, such as dimerization, master off and smart meters are presented and, finally, it was concluded that there is a need to structure electrical installation projects more comprehensive with regard to home automation, in order to become more efficient and useful to users

As políticas de ciência e tecnologia no Brasil: um estudo de seus desdobramentos para o desenvolvimento através da formação de mão-de-obra especializada

O presente trabalho discute a evolução histórica das políticas de ciência e tecnologia (C&T) no Brasil e seus desdobramentos para o desenvolvimento do país. É sabido que a C&T pode estimular o crescimento econômico, o investimento e a competitividade de um país. Nesse sentido, a inovação também se torna importante para as políticas de C&T. Além disso, o nível de pesquisa e desenvolvimento (P&D) acaba sendo estimulado, permitindo que haja dinamismo tecnológico e absorção de avanços – que são gerados em outros países – no país. No caso brasileiro, a C&T começou a se desenvolver ainda na época da ditadura (fim da década de 60), mas pode-se dizer que ela começou a ter uma importância realmente evidente a partir da década de 90 e, em particular, durante o governo Lula (2003-2010). Entende-se também que recursos humanos com alta qualificação constituem um contingente fundamental para o desenvolvimento econômico e social do país, sendo decisivo para a difusão e a criação de novos produtos e processos. É a partir destas idéias, que o trabalho discute a forma como as políticas de C&T voltadas para a formação de mãode- obra especializada podem ajudar no processo de desenvolvimento do país através, entre outros, de um maior esforço em P&D, de projetos cooperativos que unem as universidades e empresas e, conseqüentemente, através da promoção de inovações
