Brazil was one of the countries that stood out in the list of nations that publishes more articles in scientific journals. From 2007 to 2008, the Brazilian scientific production has moved from 15th to 13rd place in the world ranking published articles in professional journals. However, 60% of articles published by the Brazilians are in Portuguese, which makes the Brazilian work have little international attention. The purpose of this research is to build and analyze a parallel corpus composed of a book of Remote Sensing and its translation in the direction English into Portuguese in order to create a glossary of most recurrent terms in the literature of Remote Sensing. The achievement of these goals will take for theoretical and methodological foundation the Corpus-Based Translation Studies (BAKER, 1993, 1995, 1996; CAMARGO, 2005), Corpus Linguistics (BERBER SARDINHA, 2004) and principles of Terminology (BARROS, 2004; KRIEGER & FINATTO, 2004). It will also use Wordsmith Tools program and its tools. Besides the parallel corpus, we will also build two comparable corpora respectively from articles published in Brazilian and international journals in the area. The first results show that the translators made use of greater variation of vocabulary in their translations, which can be a way to make the text more clear to the reader. For the analysis of glossary entries, professionals from the National Institute for Space Research - INPE, will be consulted and their views aggregated to this research to give consistency to the production of the proposed bilingual glossary.

A contribuição dos filmes na formação de professores

Participei do projeto de extensão Grupo de Formação: Diálogo e Alteridade, constituído por graduandos do curso de Pedagogia. Esse projeto está articulado a um curso de extensão, oferecido para professoras coordenadoras, vice-diretoras e coordenadoras pedagógicas do município de Rio Claro, e do qual também participam os graduandos. O curso, ao longo de dois anos (2011-2012), teve a pretensão de promover a sensibilização do olhar através do uso dos filmes. Em virtude das experiências vividas durante o curso e da grande presença das tecnologias em nossa sociedade, a presente pesquisa objetivou compreender quais as contribuições das mídias e dos filmes no ambiente escolar, tanto em relação ao trabalho pedagógico com os alunos como nos processos de formação continuada de professores e gestores. A partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica realizada nos Anais da ANPEd (Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação) e do ENDIPE (Encontro Nacional de Didática e Prática de Ensino) sistematizei a produção científica que trata dos filmes no contexto educacional. Na busca por compreender quais as contribuições dos filmes para a formação das educadoras que participaram do referido curso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa documental a partir dos registros da pesquisadora e das escritas produzidas pelas participantes do referido curso. Indicadores bibliométricos em ciência da informação: análise dos pesquisadores mais produtivos no tema estudos métricos na base Scopus

This research aims at analyzing the indicators of impact and relevance - total of published articles, average of citations, total number of citations and index h of the most productive researchers in the Metric Studies field, within periods of the Scopus base by means of a correlation study, determining the best equation of regression of index h due to the total of citations, as well as to all other indicators under analysis. As research procedure, we used the search terms bibliometr* OR scientometr* OR infometr* OR webometr* OR informetr* OR webmemetr* OR paentometr*, obtaining 36 researchers as the most productive ones. For each indicator, the following descriptive statistics were calculated: maximum, minimum, average, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. The coefficient of correlation of Pearson was calculated and adjusted to the equation of regression of index h due to the total of citations. The equation of multiple regression was identified, from index h due to the other indicators. Concluding, we highlight the need for a matching of such indicators to broadly describe a researcher's multifaceted profile, seeing the complementarity of information provided by the indicators of productivity and impact, from distinctive nature.

Tratamentos breves na psicanálise lacaniana: uma revisão sistemática de literatura

The paper outlines the profile of the scientific production about brief treatments based on the Lacanian Psychoanalysis. In order to accomplish this, the research focuses on online journals with free full-text articles written by members of Lacanian Schools listed on the website of the World Psychoanalysis Association. The work analyses studies from 2000 to 2009. In a total of 115 selected documents, the research has identified that online journals from Latin America contributed with 96 (83,47%) works. The literature review indicates that brief treatments are made possible by a construction of a specific mechanism, in which parameters of gratuity and limited time of care are established. However, a key conclusion from this review is that individual interventions with adults from big cities are still predominant.
