Este trabalho trata da requalificação urbana da orla fluvial da cidade de Panorama – SP, com a proposta de implantação de um parque à beira rio, proporcionando uma ampla área de lazer e permanência à população, bem como uma área compensatória de reflorestamento da mata ciliar. Para que esta proposta fosse adequada foi realizado um estudo urbano da cidade, que culminou na necessidade de analisar a Planta Urbana da cidade realizada pelo arquiteto urbanista Prestes Maia. Diante das características históricas, econômicas e culturais da cidade constatou-se a real necessidade de um de uma área de lazer associada à orla do rio Paraná, porem de características diferentes das oferecidas pelo Balneário Municipal. Esta área foi assim diagnosticada, como um parque público aberto à população e que oferecesse serviços de recreação, esportes, lazer e náuticos, como um depósito e atracadouro de barcos. O parque à beira rio surge por fim, sanando necessidades da população e realizando resgates históricos a muito esquecidos

A city is a place, is a housing, is the birthing place of economics. A city is made of routes, is made of people, by people and must also be structured for people. However, with the consolidation of a neoliberal economic system where ownership and economic generation prevail over the citizen's rights and the needs of those who have less, the city becomes a space of buying, exchange and increasingly commercial. The city of São Paulo is part of this context and is the result of the transformation process driven by real estate speculation, and the presented study area, the surroundings of the Municipal Market of São Paulo, is a new area in transformation. This work has the goal to bring a historical perspective and current status of the locality, with their revitalization projects, landscape changes and changes in housing, audience and resident citizens

The style of life in the cities deprives the man of the contact with nature. As a way to escape from the turbulent reality of the urban system, the urban planning provides areas that allow the contact between man and nature like botanical gardens, parks, leafy squares, etc. These places, through specific analysis, are also called green areas. Thus, the main purpose of this research is to outline and analyze, through geoprocessing techniques, green areas of Americana, São Paulo considering them as indicators of urban environmental quality. This evaluation will be based on the methodology adapted by Bargos (2010) where products of remote sensing were used (aerial photos and satellite images) and it will be also based on field work and calculation of the amount of green areas. The software ESRI ArcGIS® will be used to create thematic maps connected with city’s green areas. Based on the results achieved in this study, it’s expected to contribute to the government of the city of Americana in order to provide benefits of analysis for decision makers in the context of urban planning aiming an improvement in the urban environmental quality, thus benefiting its entire population

This study characterizes the city of Cristais Paulista (SP) the occurrence of lithologies formal and allostratigraphic units (new sedimentary deposits) and soil, through mapping, determining the material properties in laboratory and field, based on the data it is proposed evolutionary pattern for the residual material weathered and transported (allostratigraphic units), with the integration of the all data was generated as a final product Zoning Geoenvironmental in the study area is an important tool for urban planning area.

The non existence of sewage services creates an unhealthy environmental, causing impact extremely prejudicial to the human health. In Brazil, this item represents the biggest deficit in the basic sanitation these days, and only about 50% of the population is attended. The sewage collection network is a needful system for the basic sanitation. Between the parameters of the project of a system of collection and sewage transportation, the definition of the population that will be attended is one of the most important variables, and that should be done based on criterion of population growth and in accordant to directrix presents in the comprehensive city plan. In this paper, were evaluated methods of growth based on the geometric growth rate, on the population density and on the number of residents per dwelling, and also mathematics models of growth prediction, emphasizing in the geometric growth and on the logistic curve method. That way, the goal of this paper were value the hydraulic performance in one of the watersheds delimited by the sewage network magnification work existent in the city of Cacoal–RO. Using simulation with different scenarios, the results pointed that the hydraulic performance of the system were strongly affected by the population determination method used. For the same drained area the diameters range from 150 to 250 mm as well as the trench’s deep, where some stretches exceeded the maximum values contained in the standard. Besides, the variation of the sewage contribution rate due the population variation estimated in different scenarios, led to alterations in others important project parameters, such as slope, shallow pool, tensile stress and spreading velocity

In the last few decades, Brazil has experienced an accelerated urbanization process in which many cities have grown in a disorderly way occupying environmentally fragile areas unsuitable for habitation. Anthropogenic actions such as high levels of impermeable soil, structural changes in watercourses, lack of riparian vegetation, illegal presence of trash and rubbish along the river banks added to irregular settlements in floodplains result in the rise of high risk areas. When accompanied by intense and prolonged rainfall phenomena, those areas have been the scenery of serious accidents such as floods. This study aims to classify the level of the risk of floods in the neighborhood of Jardim Inocoop, in the town of Rio Claro, São Paulo countryside, Brazil. One of the main technical support to tackle this issue is the identification and classification of the risks. In order to classify the risk level of flood in this case study, the methodology adopted was developed by the Ministry of Cities and Technology Research Institute, and take into account the arrangement of the hydrological scenario, vulnerability of households and dangerous process according to the distance of the houses from the axis of drainage. Therefore, the risk levels adopted to classify are listed below: very high (MA), high risk (A), moderate (M) and low risk (B). In conclusion, it is imperative to develop prevention plans in order to avoid or to minimize the damages caused by natural disasters. Therefore, the zoning of the risk sceneries remains as an important issue once it helps to identify the areas with high level risk of flood. Consequently, the occupation must be regulated where there is low or absent risk and it must be often forbidden where the high risk of flood is detected. The climate and weather have direct implications on society, are factors that can to regulate or restrict human occupation in a determined space. In this way, studies of climate and weather are justified to be extremely necessary for urban planning and economic activities, especially agriculture. The precipitation of hail, which enters in the classification of severe storm, causes large, direct and indirect impacts on society, mainly when it occurs in urban areas. This work aims to study the precipitation of hail, explain what is a severe storms and how hail is formed in clouds, making use of a literature review in geography and also in weather sciences. It is also an aim of this work analyze the genesis, evolution and dissipation of a specific case of precipitation of hail occurred in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, especially in Guarulhos, on 21st of September 21 of 2010, through the use of GOES-12’ satellite’s images and the use of São Roque’s weather radar. And in this way, show the potential impact of hail storms in society and contribute to a greater preparedness of the population, urban planners associations and emergency management, such as municipalities, the civil defense and fireman
