Memórias subterrâneas, histórias (re) visitadas: a contribuição metodologia da história oral em estudos de grupos étnicos

This article aims to reflect on the contribution of oral history in studies involving memory and identity of ethnic groups. Problematic issues here are part of the result of two recently completed researches, which consisted of reconstructing the memory of Afro-Brazilians from the methodology of oral history. These surveys were intended to transpose, into written language, memories transmitted by oral tradition and which was confined to family circles. The first was to investigate the process of identification and transmission of knowledge from a black cultural practice in the countryside of São Paulo (Piracicaba, Capivari, and Tietê), the Batuque of Umbigada, and the second to reconstruct the stories and culture of Afro-Brazilians in the city of Itu, São Paulo.

Among the numerous possibilities of physical exercise, it has been recommended that stretching routines should be incorporated into training programs focused on the elderly population, and that these routines should be preferentially performed on the same strength or aerobic training session. However, studies have shown that muscle strength production can be acutely impaired if it is preceded by static stretching exercises (AE). Although there seems to be a relationship between the number of stretched muscles and strength response, no studies were found examining such relationship in the same study, simultaneously. Thus, the objective of this study is to analyze the acute effect of stretching of different muscle groups on strength performance in older women. Nineteen physically active older women participated in the study (67.8 ± 5.3 years, 68.9 ± 12.4 kg, 157.2 ± 6.4 cm)-usar ponto final em inglês e não vírgula. The participants visited the lab for six consecutive days, three of which were intended to familiarization. Over the next three days, all the participants performed the experimental conditions: control; quadriceps stretching alone and complete stretching, involving the major extensors muscle groups of knees and hips. Both the two stretching conditions were realized with three series of 30s (total volume of 90 seconds for each exercise). All experimental conditions was be performed with an interval of at least 24 hours and order of execution was be randomized. The force transducer was connected to a leg press apparatus, where the isometric force time curve and electromyographic activity of the vastus medial and vastus lateralis were recorded. Measurements were registered immediately after each experimental condition, during five seconds. Ensino de geometria espacial na licenciatura em matemática: uma proposta de trabalho com grupos colaborativos

Apresenta-se neste trabalho experiências obtidas através de 06 (seis) anos consecutivos de trabalho com a disciplina de Geometria Espacial em turmas de formação inicial de professores de matemática. A proposta de trabalho em grupos colaborativos se justifica pela necessidade atual de os professores em atividade utilizarem essa poderosa ferramenta como facilitadora da aprendizagem pessoal e dos estudantes sob sua orientação. Os alunos das várias turmas foram desafiados à tarefa de apresentarem, ao final da disciplina (semestre), um trabalho contendo: material escrito (capa, formatação, desenvolvimento do tema, cálculos, desenhos, resultados e referências), material concreto produzido com canudos e fitilho (sólidos construídos: acabamento, uniformização, montagem e medidas) e apresentação oral do grupo (arquivos de programas de apresentação). A metodologia proposta para a realização dessa tarefa em todas as turmas foi de grupos colaborativos, com em média 05 (cinco) alunos cada. Para a 1ª turma foi proposta a construção de “esqueletos” dos poliedros de Platão, com a maior aresta (canudinho) fixada. Cada grupo deveria observar uma propriedade dentre as seguintes: sólidos com a mesma área total; com o mesmo volume; com uma mesma esfera inscrita e com uma mesma esfera circunscrita. Todo material coletado dos grupos (escrito, construído ou digital/apresentação oral), está sendo devidamente catalogado, para então ser disponibilizado no Laboratório de Ensino de Matemática do referido curso. Os trabalhos propostos posteriormente foram gradativamente sendo mais desafiadores. O último trabalho proposto (2012) teve o seguinte tema: Poliedros Arquimedianos ou semirregulares.

Representatividade das redes sociais no processo educacional: potencialidades dos grupos virtuais como ferramentas de ensino-aprendizagem no Ensino Médio

One tool that has been in evidence, especially among young people, is Facebook. It can be classified as a synchronous communication tool that allows communities of people with similar interests to discuss and exchange experiences in real time, promoting the sharing of information and the creation of collective knowledge, even if they being in different parts of the globe. In this paper we show that Facebook can be used as an educational tool to aid the work done in the classroom and the impact of creating closed groups in online social networking for educational purposes. The survey was conducted with a group of students at a private school in Bauru/SP. We investigated the interaction profile of students with a closed group created on Facebook and through a questionnaire analyzed whether students use virtual environments for personal or educational. The survey reveals students perceptions about relevant aspects and the potential use of this tool as teaching-learning strategy

Interação entre a Escola Básica e a Pós-graduação: uma rede de Pequenos Grupos de Pesquisa (PGP)

Given the objective of the Educational Observatory Program of putting in conjunction the efforts of graduation and basic school in order to improve the quality of the latter, are sought possibilities offered by such an arrangement for teacher education. The assumed action research methodology is designed as a collective rethinking about the social practice in which participants were immersed. It is identified strong correlation among the school/graduation interaction and the nature of the underlying teacher education design. The constitution of research questions accomplished inside the school and the centrality of Small Research Groups in a broad network of interactions were determinants.
