Aspectos político-legais da educação do campo

The article describes political and legal aspects of Brazilian education, through the analysis of Brazilian Constitutions, its amendments and major educational laws and resolutions in force until 2012, highlighting those that make direct reference to rural education and country education. It intends to identify the time when the educational legislation has incorporated the term “country education”, one of the struggles of the Movement for a Country Education. The use of the term “country education” will occur only in the first decade of this century. Despite the difficulties in consolidating country education, clearly the incorporation of this issue in the draft of the new National Education Plan (2011/2020), under discussion in Brazilian Congress.

Gestão democrática na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná

This article is the result of one ampler researching project that discusses about the limits and possibilities of the democratic management at Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). The main purpose of this text is to demonstrate that the elections to the choosing of directors of campus, recently presented, and the structuring and functioning of the collegiate counsels with deliberative forces of this institution, are elements that contribute to a relative democratization in the form of management of UTFPR.

A classificação bibliográfica no contexto do tratamento temático da informação: um estudo com o protocolo verbal individual em bibliotecas do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia (IF´s)

The discussions that underpin the process of bibliographic classification in documentaries systems should be designed with scientific basis and theoretical, rather than only be based on professional practice. The theoretical approaches, however, attention should also be involved in professional practice. From this, the present study seeks to demonstrate through the perception of catalogers professional, the importance of reflections on the activity of Thematic Treatment of Information, especially the bibliographic classification in order to engender the strengthening of the area and improvements in product quality and services resulting from libraries. In this context, was carried out a study in the libraries of two Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology (IF’s) located in two different states of southeastern Brazil. Technique was employed introspective data collection Verbal Protocol in Individual mode, having qualitative character.

A produção acadêmico-científica do Brasil na área das altas habilidades/superdotação no período de 1987 a 2011

Among students with special educational needs, subjects of special education, are those with high ability/giftedness, a complex phenomenon that requires the participation of education professionals and researchers to foster the potential of development of these students. In this sense, we aimed to identify and analyze thesis and dissertations that they propose to investigate the theme high ability/giftedness, verifying participation of the area of education in these studies. The study was done through a literature review, guided by the following questions: Have the researches on high ability/giftedness been growing in recent years? What is the participation of education area in those researches? What are the issues related to high ability/ giftedness addressed in Education? The results show that the institutions present an increasing trend and there is a predominance of education area in this scientific production. However, there is an imbalance between the institutions that aim to investigate the theme in Brazilian regions, as well as among the cases covered by these researches on high ability/giftedness.

Valores e atitudes: uma análise de artigos na educação física escolar

É notória a crescente preocupação com os aspectos éticos e morais quando se refere à Educação no Brasil. Não poderia ser diferente com a Educação Física escolar, já que se trata de um componente curricular obrigatório dentro da Educação Básica. Apesar da tentativa crescente de conscientização da importância dos valores enquanto conteúdos explícitos na educação formal, não se têm claro quais deveriam fazer parte do planejamento dos professores. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral realizar um levantamento de artigos em periódicos científicos da Educação Física que abordassem valores e atitudes presentes na disciplina. Em outras palavras buscou-se mapear e analisar quais valores e atitudes são esses na Educação Física, no contexto escolar. Para a seleção dos periódicos científicos analisados, foram seguidos os seguintes critérios: revistas específicas da Educação Física; trabalhos propostos à publicação julgados por pareceristas; acesso tanto ao resumo quanto ao trabalho na íntegra; acesso a todos os números das revistas publicados entre os anos de 1998 e 2007. A análise quantitativa constatou que o número de artigos científicos que abordaram o tema valores e atitudes nos últimos dez anos foi pequeno. Entre aproximadamente 1000 artigos analisados, foram localizados apenas 40 artigos. Apesar do número reduzido de artigos, observou-se uma tendência no aumento das publicações a partir de 2002, seguindo tendência da área da Educação. Valores como alteridade, socialização, voluntariedade, estética e saúde apareceram nos artigos analisados. O tema de valores e atitudes é discutido na produção científica da Educação Física, embora ainda de forma incipiente, e os temas analisados são bastante abrangentes.

Um levantamento bibliográfico no período de 2008-2013 sobre a alfabetização científica nas séries iniciais para o ensino de física

This study aimed to review the publications in the area of Education Physics that has contributed to Scientific Literacy and STS - Science , Technology and Society , with students of elementary school in Basic Education , looking for understand the importance of an education that aims the formation of critical citizens, in opposition to passive recipients of technological influences of a modern society , but which are able to understand and reflect the importance and influence of science and technology in political, social and environmental to society . In this context , the Physics, is one of the areas of natural sciences with direct implications in daily life , we believe in the importance of introducing physical concepts in science education since the early years of basic education , either as a approach playful , experiment, study of books , magazines , papers , etc. . , so that the knowledge about physics can be built through experience and the analysis of daily phenomena, instead of only being addressed in the last three years of teaching average basic education

Projeto D.A.N.T.E: desenvolvimento artístico de uma narrativa tecnológica

This monograph discuss the postmodernity social reality issues, emphasizing cultural, communicational, technological and informational extents. Via data collection through specific literature, and sources of different medias( internet, books, comic books, movies, novels, sociological, informational, technological, communicational and humanistic theories) behavioral patterns could be analyzed and the postmodern technological,informational and communicational reality as well, and how they mutually influence the “digital culture” construction (also called cyberculture). The results of this research were used to build a narrative which suits the new culture in development both in shape and in content: the scrip “Hotel Seol”. Therefore, “Hotel Seol” is consisted of an interactive and hypermedia narrative, in which the main reference sources are the study mentioned above, cyberpunk science fiction genre and “Hell”-first part of the book “Divine Comedy”, by DanteAlighieri

Experimentação e educação ambiental: contribuições metodológicas

During the last centuries, the human being have been considered the center of the universe. The man believed that nature was at his disposal. Appropriated their processes, their cycles changed, redefined their spaces. Today, when faced with an environmental crisis which threatens the planet life, including the human life, the Science Education can contribute to a reconstruction of man-nature relationship in other terms. The transformation of teaching practices in the school environment, to be reflective, it is still a process that challenges the vast majority of teachers. As has been indicated by Guerra (2004), among others, the traditional teaching of content delivery is still very strong and certainly more deeply embedded in ideas and activities of the teachers who focus on environmental education. With it, a theory and pedagogical discourses in critical-reflexive actions is still a major obstacle. Therefore, new proposals for education and continuing education activities need to be formulated and presented based on the characteristics and needs breathing. Therefore propose changes in the way of teaching, where there is more room for a theory and praxis alone or with a only scientific truth. The scenery of society requires that knowledge is constructed to interconnect all disciplines, joining theory and practice so we can understand the whole and their relations in an integrated manner. It was proposed here a way to build a school and applying theoretical and practical activities involving experimental and seeking to meet the principles of Environmental Education for the training of citizens aware and critical. At the same time cares to use textbooks very rich in its pedagogical character that are present in schools and often are, forgotten and unused by teachers. O mercado editorial na formação dos professores da educação básica: levantamento e caracterização de revistas pedagógicas (1996-210)

A pesquisa tem por foco o mercado editorial voltado para a formação dos professores da educação básica, com ênfase para as revistas pedagógicas com periodicidade regular em circulação na região Sudeste do país. Objetivou-se reconhecer e caracterizar manifestações desse mercado a partir da análise da materialidade das revistas, buscando encontrar também representações sobre os professores e sua profissão. O trabalho foi realizado sob uma abordagem qualitativa, nos moldes da pesquisa documental. Em um primeiro momento, realizou-se a identificação de quais são as revistas pedagógicas disponíveis no mercado e a que tipo de profissional elas se destinam, partindo de levantamento de materiais presentes em bancas de jornal, livrarias, bibliotecas e também em sites especializados. O segundo momento caracteriza-se pela análise e comparação da materialidade das revistas. Trata-se de um Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso que teve apoio financeiro pelo Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica da Pró-Reitoria (PROPE) de Pesquisa da UNESP (PIBIC/Reitoria). Financiamento e convênios na educação infantil: uma análise a partir de periódicos nacionais

This study is bound to the “Research and Studies in Educational Policies”, GREPPE (interinstitutional group) – Rio Claro Section, more accurately to the Research Project entitled Evaluating the scientific production about financing and agreements in childhood education, coordinate by Prof. Dr. Regiane Helena Bertagna, that has as main objective to survey of scientific production at the national level related to the theme of financing and agreements in childhood education in the period from 2000 to 2010. This research has as objective to analyze the financing of childhood education examinee issues of educational policies related to this aspect in this stage of the basic education in national journals. It is intended to ascertain the discussion held in the articles about childhood education financing highlighting the strategies used by the government to offer treatment to the childhood education by means of agreements, or even, by means of public-private partnerships. For the development of this research will be conducted a survey and data analysis from journals of the “Coordination of Improvement of Senior Staff” (CAPES) classified as A2 in the evaluation of 2008. The research will make a cutting between the years from 2000 to 2010; will be analyzed only the national journals online available and that adress the thematic studied
