The anticipation of the beginning of Elementary School for six-year-old children, recently imposed by the Brazilian federal law, brought controversies and debates about the organization of the curriculum, routines, contents and activities, spaces and objects, conduct of behavior of teachers and parents, as well as about the policies of teachers��� training, amongst other issues. The present article, supported by advances of scientific production on children formal education, considers the changes in the concepts of children education and, consequently, in curricular practices. For this purpose, games and fun are taken as object of analysis and discussion, and the playfulness is proposed as a central curricular axle in the initial years of Elementary Education.

Um estudo das disserta����es do programa de mestrado em educa����o da Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1995-2006)

In this work we make a study of the dissertations of Master of Education, at the State University of Londrina, in the period 1995 to 2006. It aims to provide support to other researchers who may be interested in the topic and find material available for further studies, examining the organization of the program to detect their social involvement with the city of Londrina and its regional environment, specifically north of Paran��. His character is descriptive census. The mapping these productions show significant contributions to the construction of educational policies at the local level, but mainly in education and training of teachers for higher education in the region and also meet the teacher network municipal and state. It also provides a critique of their training students to act in society and in the production and transmission of knowledge but also for the collective construction of the university.

Reflex��es sobre metodologia aplicada na constru����o de pesquisas cient��ficas na ��rea de comunica����o social

The questions arise about the teaching and practice of the methodology of communication research. The aim is to reflect on the possibility of building research projects and develop research and scientific production in the area of social communication at the graduate level, articulating the epistemological interfaces, methodical, theoretical and methodological techniques for design of empirical research in communication, developed by Lopes (2010), adapting it to the Spiral model of knowledge creation, developed by Takeuchi and Nonaka (2008), to support the learning of the methodological procedures that involve scientific research in communication.

Gest��o para efici��ncia energ��tica: levantamento e an��lise da produ����o cient��fica divulgada em alguns peri��dicos das ��reas de engenharia de produ����o e administra����o (2001-2011)

This research leads to a meta-analysis of scientific production in energy efficiency in industrial sectors, recorded in ten (10) leading journals in Administration and Engineering Production in Brazil, between 2001 and 2011. To this end, this scholarship was examined based on the following parameters: a) the total contribution and journal articles, b) methods used in studies, and c) the theoretical gaps to exploit. The diagnosis is that one infers: academic work in energy efficiency industries accounted for only twenty-nine (29) published articles, and only eight (8) have energy efficiency as a central theme of the work. Although the results still showed a rising trend in the number of publications since the last five (5) years analyzed showed 65.5% of all published files relating to energy efficiency. It contributes, therefore, the systematization of the academic production in the area of energy efficiency and business subsidies are provided for this field of research in Brazil.

An��lise documental da produ����o acad��mica sobre o ensino de evolu����o (1990-2010): caracteriza����es e proposi����es

The quantitative and qualitative increasing of researches in Science teaching imposes the periodical mapping need of scientific production about the subject, with a view to identify its own characteristics and tendencies. In this context, researches such as ���State of art���, given his executrix character, constitute in modality inquiring that allow us to outline historical scenes for a given area (or subarea) of knowledge. In this light, this work aims to outline the panorama of Brazilian academic production, represented by dissertations and thesis, in evolution teaching between 1990- 2010. The documents susceptible of analysis were raised in three online data basis and its selection happened from the reading of titles, abstracts and key-words with views to identify the dissertations and thesis that truly approached the Evolution Teaching. The found results evidence the predominance of dissertations related to the number of thesis and the concentration of academic production in Evolution Teaching in Brazil south-east region, especially in S��o Paulo state. In researches trends we verified the prevalence of investigations related to the previous conceptions of students and professors (in all teaching levels) and to teacher training.

O que sabemos sobre a pesquisa brasileira voltada �� educa����o em museus de ci��ncias?

Over the past four decades it occurred a great expansion of science education research in Brazil (TEIXEIRA, 2008). Considering the scientific production in the area, descriptive studies, called state of the art are necessary, but little found in Brazilian scientific literature, especially in the field of science education. In this context, this paper identifies and describes the main features and trends of Brazilian research in the field of education in science museums, released in the form of dissertations and thesis, in the period 1970 to 2010. It is a qualitative and quantitative research, which performs a document analysis, in a bibliographical review. We mapped 153 academic researches, mainly in the Rio-S��o Paulo axis, mostly in the last decade, showing that the area can be characterized as an emerging field in science education.

Panorama da pesquisa em Design no Brasil: a contribui����o dos Programas de P��s-Gradua����o em Design nas pesquisas cient��ficas e no desenvolvimento da ��rea

With respect to design, scientific production in the area helps consolidate it as a scientific field can contribute to the development of society through the promotion of the construction of critical knowledge of researchers. Scientific conferences and journals, periodicals and books consist of some of the effective actions for the exchange of knowledge. Through these channels the results of research are disseminated, shared and put into discussion, collaborating with the learning process and cooperation among sectors. Thus, this paper reflects on the evolution of scientific research in the area and attempts to give an overview of current research of Design in Brazil and its correlation with the Graduate Program in Design.

Res��duos s��lidos no Brasil: contexto, lacunas e tend��ncia

The theme of solid waste is in high evidence today, a fact noted by the recent implementation of the European directive, and in Brazil, by the National Solid Waste Policy. Understanding the impact of this policy on the national scientific production is essential to plan new directions and research trends. Through a bibliometric and scientometric studied, this research analyzed the national and global context of the last 20 years and found areas in which research progressed, as municipal solid waste, and essentials gaps to develop more the national state-of-the-art, as solid waste of transport. So, the results of this study are a plausible tool to justify for further research on this topic.

A responsabilidade social no processo de ado����o de inova����o em empresas sucroenerg��ticas do centro-oeste do Estado de S��o Paulo.

The main objective of this paper was to verify the influence of the organization and management in social responsibility the decision of adoption, choice, justification and implementation of innovation in elaborates of sugar, ethanol and energy companies of the midwestern state of S��o Paulo. Using multivariable analysis of principal components and clusters, the variables were analyzed and companies classified. Adapted to contemporary situations, the Freeman (1975) model of taxonomies was the parameter with research information in personal interviews by semi-structured questionnaires. The activities investigated were the existence of programs and organization to improve the welfare and quality of life to employees and family (leisure, culture, health, self-knowledge, values, beliefs etc.), program and social volunteering organization for the community, programs and organization to encourage the training of educators and extension education and incentive programs and organization to research and scientific production. It was concluded that the best companies which included, in their organization structures, management practices embodied in social responsibility.
