Espetáculo, festa, argumentação e organização: reflexões sobre os eventos como estratégia de comunicação em movimentos sociais

O papel dos eventos em movimentos sociais e sua importância como estratégia de comunicação sob a ótica das Relações Públicas é o tema principal desenvolvido nesse livro. Elaine Cristina Gomes de Moraes toma como base para sua análise a 5ª. Parada da Diversidade de Bauru, cidade do interior paulista, evento realizado em agosto de 2012 pela Associação da Diversidade de Bauru (ABD) e composto majoritariamente pelo movimento homossexual, mas também por outras minorias. Eventos têm papel fundamental no movimento homossexual e expressam seus ideais, reivindicações e identidade, na medida em que aglutinam publicamente pessoas com objetivos comuns. Ao mesmo tempo, tornam-se importantes meios de expressão do movimento por conta da repercussão proporcionada pelos meios de comunicação. Dessa forma, a autora propõe analisar os eventos como ações de comunicação, já que essas atividades são planejadas para a construção de uma imagem. E, também, constituídas como estratégica de comunicação, cujos objetivos são o avanço social e a proposta de transformação da realidade, na medida em que promovem a visibilidade e a legitimidade às lutas do movimento social. A autora destaca que o movimento homossexual começou suas articulações com a organização do primeiro grupo na década de 1970. Desde então diversos outros grupos, como os de lésbicas, transexuais e travestis se formaram, mudando a trajetória inicial. Às lutas que reivindicavam igualdade de direitos, somaram-se outras, como as que protestavam contra a violência aos homossexuais. Também nascem desse caldo as famosas paradas do Orgulho Gay. O tratamento do conteúdo informacional da fotografia na Arquivística: algumas reflexões

In the contemporary society, the recurring preoccupation about the effective use and appropriation of information has forced a progressive maturing of Information Science and its extention to new fields of study. In archival management, some gaps can be found concerning the treatment of photographs that have not been solved either theoretically or methodologically. This study approaches one of these gaps: the one related to the processing of the informational content of the photographic documents in archives. After a literature review, several recommendations are proposed regarding the identification, organization, representation, retrieval and access to the informational content of photographs in archives.

Questões teóricas e metodológicas das pesquisas com crianças: algumas reflexões

Thinking about research with children, giving time and voice to them is a discussion that is still fresh. Thus, in order to establish some reflections on the theoretical and methodological issues in research with children, we hope with this article to give visibility to the theoretical assumptions of authors who are concerned to place the child and childhood in the center of the research process. Thus, contributing to this discussion, this text is divided into three stages: initially bring some contributions of sociology of childhood and the various fields of knowledge to think about research with children. Secondly, we propose to discuss some methods and procedures that may favor the development of research with children. When we trace the historical development related to research with children and recover the concept of childhood and child while being active and producer of culture, we headed for the third time this work presents some results and conclusions, which can direct our gaze on pursuit of research instruments that capture what children think, feel and build in the world that they live and live together.

Reflexões sobre a formação do leitor mirim: Leitura, Literatura Infantil e Bibliotecas Escolares

This paper seeks to relate issues to the formation of the reader and school routines that directly interfere in the way responsible for the mediation work there included the act of reading, and also reflect on the pedagogical implications arising therefrom. The resumption of data generated in research developed in the years 2007 to 2010 shows that both the classroom as the school library has been constituted as ambiance suitable for training the child reader. Theoretical and methodological concepts related to child development in the act of reading is presented by discussing access to books and children’s literature led to the formation of the child reader, linking them to the old and new reading technologies.

Acesso à informação geográfica: reflexões sobre a importância das Infraestruturas de Dados Espaciais (IDE) nas políticas públicas

This article discusses the access to geographic information and its importance for the public policies formulation, reflecting on the implementation of the Spatial Data Infrastructure. The data view and the maps construction are useful for identifying needs and sponsoring public managers in decision making. The public policies implementation stages are optimized when the quantitative and qualitative information are integrated to the spatial phenomena relations. The improvement in the use of geographic information for decision making will be achieved when spatial data are efficiently generated in spatial data infrastructures.

In special education, high skills designate people who demonstrate the capability, potential or performance in human activities, well above average. Our objective, using neuroscience to understand the early, prodigies, geniuses and high abilities as a result of a unique process of memory formation. It is a literature search, in which the works were identified, located, compiled, analyzed and blacklisted. The material was located from keywords in databases. For the compilation were used as inclusion criteria, adopted the intersection of the keywords as well as the work of researchers from education, psychology and neuroscience, published between 1966 and 2009; qualitatively analyzed 40 references, 18 articles and 22 other texts. The trajectory analysis was developed with the question: no need to explain differently the precocious prodigies, geniuses, and AH? We reached three logical propositions. We demonstrate through this exercise of course, that there would be no need to explain differently the precocious prodigies, geniuses, and AH, but conclude that there is need for such differentiation, even within the field of neuroscience, however, the statement above points to Renzulli’s theory as valid for geniuses and AH, with exceptions for early and wonders that deserve a closer look.
