Prática diária dos agentes comunitários de saúde: dificuldades e limitações da assistência

This qualitative study aimed to identify difficulties experienced by Community Health Agents (CHA) in the course of daily practice of care. Data were collected from semi-structured interviews with twelve CHA from four Basic Health Units in a city of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. From an analysis of the speech of subjects, we found that the deficiency of health services, the workload of the nurses responsible for the team and the service rejection by users make it difficult to implement the health actions. This research emphasizes the limitations expressed by the health agents, and points towards the necessity of an evolving discussion of this theme, seeking strategies that enable the consolidation of community health principles.

Recomendações de usabilidade e de acessibilidade em projetos de ambientes informacionais digitais para idosos

The usability and accessibility, when applied to digital information environments, provide ease of use and access to information, respectively. Thus, we aim to discuss these concepts and apply them in specific digital environments to the elderly through the documentary and bibliographic study of specific recommendations on projects for elderly users. This study was conducted in conjunction with students at the Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade (UNATI) - UNESP - Marilia, who assisted in the classification of recommendations for usability and accessibility are essential (Priority 1), important (Priority 2) and optional (Priority 3). The results indicate the importance of this type of study for the digital and social inclusion of older people by facilitating elements of access and use of information, providing the building more inclusive informational architectures. The resulting recommendations can be used as a starting point for the design of digital environments for the elderly in a specific heuristic evaluation, for example. However, it remains important to the application of usability testing with users, including the application to validate these recommendations, since different contexts may arise from the implementation of different elements, resources and information services.

O transtorno mental na percepção de agentes comunitários de saúde na estratégia saúde da família

The Family Health Strategy facilitates user access to mental health actions. This study aimed to verify the community health agents’ perceptions of the Family Health Strategy about mental disorder. A qualitative study was conducted with 26 randomly selected community health agents, among the professionals of 13 units, which constitute the Family Health Strategy of Itapeva (SP). The community health agents responded to a personal information questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. Data were checked through content analysis. Stigmatizing perception of the mentally disturbed persons, lack of knowledge about the process of falling ill and the mental disorder evolution, and the unpreparedness to act in this population were observed. Capacitating agents enable them to contribute in a positive way to the effective functioning of a care net in mental health in the city.

Influência do programa Escola da Coluna em agentes comunitários

Introduction: Low back pain is characterized as a musculoskeletal disorder responsible for loss of productivity and high absenteeism of the affected individuals. Objectives: To analyze the effects of short-and long-term program of health education and therapeutic exercise in relation to quality of life, flexibility and pain intensity of community agents in Marilia city, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Methods: A total of 17 women community workers (40.29+9.97 years) were analysed. Evaluations were made in relation to quality of life, flexibility and intensity of pain before, immediately and 30 weeks after the intervention. Results: We observe the positive results of programs in six domains of quality of life questionnaire and flexibility in the short-and long-term (p<0.005). The intensity of pain showed significant reduction only in the short-term. Conclusion: The methodology used was able to improve the quality of life, flexibility and reduce pain intensity of community agents.

The civil construction in Brazil has grown a lotover the last years. This has caused a greater competition between companies of the sector. A little difference in quality in service or product a company offers can determine their success in the market. There is a growing demand for tools that optimize processes and bring greater quality to each activity in these companies. Performance measurement systems make it possible to control process efficiency and effectiveness using performance indicators. Considering this need, the paper before you has the objective of creating basic guidelines to introduce performance measurement systems inbuilding installations project companies. A theoretical reference is presented to describe organizational aspects of project companies along with performance measurement systems characteristics. Using a qualitative research methodology, a study case was executed with interviews, observation and document analysis as evidence sources. In the study case, limitations where identified, such as, high degree of product and process flexibility, dependence on subjective analysis for decision making and lack of specialized information systems. Considering the theoretical reference and the study case,the proposed guidelines intend to ease and guarantee greater chances of success when implanting one of these systems

Interação entre universidade e escola de ensino básico: um panorama dos projetos de extensão do Instituto de Biociências - Botucatu

A extensão é compreendida como uma interação entre a Universidade e a comunidade na qual está inserida e como uma via de mão dupla onde a Universidade leva conhecimentos e/ou assistência à comunidade e recebe dela influxos positivos e reais necessidades, ou seja, constitui-se uma relação de troca de conhecimentos. As atividades de extensão desenvolvidas no Instituto de Biociências (IB) da UNESP - Campus Botucatu, por meio de projetos, são diversificadas quanto ao público alvo, quanto ao local de realização e também quanto aos objetivos. Ao longo dos anos, foram realizadas inúmeras atividades de extensão dirigidas aos professores e alunos das escolas de ensino básico, das quais destacamos os projetos de extensão relacionados ao ensino de Ciências e Biologia. Este estudo teve por objetivos identificar as atividades de extensão, desenvolvidas por docentes do IB, voltadas ao ensino básico, e investigar a percepção dos docentes sobre a articulação entre Universidade e escolas de ensino infantil, fundamental e médio. Os dados foram coletados por meio de análise de documentos, questionário e entrevista. Pela análise de documentos, foram identificados os projetos de extensão relacionados ao ensino de Ciências e Biologia e que possuem relação (direta ou indireta) com escolas do ensino básico desenvolvidos pelo IB nos anos 2006, 2007 e 2008, cadastrados na PROEX, vinculados ao Núcleo de Ensino, ao Programa Ciência Na UNESP e ao NADi - Museu Escola. Por meio do questionário, com questões abertas e fechadas, foram coletados dados junto a 15 professores coordenadores e pela entrevista foram coletados dados junto ao Presidente da Comissão Permanente de Extensão Universitária. A pedagogia dos projetos, além da escola

A pedagogia dos projetos, além da escola teve como foco principal descrever e analisar os projetos sociais da Igreja Evangélica Batista do Calvário desenvolvidos nos bairros de Rio Claro-SP com crianças e adolescentes durante o período de 2005 a 2009. Descrevemos o Projeto Conhecendo Jesus da Igreja Evangélica Batista do Calvário com o objetivo de explicitar os fundamentos político-filosóficos de suas concepções e suas possíveis implicações no projeto pedagógico e na organização do processo educacional. Constituíram-se eixos transversais em toda a pesquisa as especificidades do projeto sócio-pedagógico, a organização do processo educacional, bem como a relação entre a produção de convicção religiosa e a educação. Analisamos o desenvolvimento de um processo educacional em um território constituído como fronteira entre a referida Igreja e movimentos de bairros, através da parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de em Rio Claro –SP.

Projetos de extensão em dança da UNESP/Rio Claro: contribuições à formação profissional dos estudantes de Educação Física

The Projects of Extension in dance of the State University of São Paulo- Campus Rio Claro in 1994 and 1995 with the Dance Companies: Éxciton and Contratempo respectively. From this moment, the dance has always been present on the campus of Rio Claro, is participating actively in group or even as spectators of the many presentations. This research aims to understand and analyze the influence at the participants professional formation of the two companies, already graduated and working since the Dance Companies from the beginning until today. For the development of this study will be conducted qualitative research involving literature and area of study research. The technique used for the collection is a questionnaire with open and closed questions. The research subjects students trained by Physical Education Department of the State University of São Paulo - Campus Rio Claro, active in this area of academic formation, with one participant from each Dance Company in each year of existence. Data analysis will be based on the technique of content analysis proposed by Bardin (2010). The results found that the extension projects contribute to the professional acting, because they enable exchange of experience, acquisition and incorporation of new knowledge, different from previously built on a broad vision of dance. This new framework allows the development of education/ teaching/ methodology, enabling the contact since graduating with professional practice and obtaining safety and confidence to act in the labor maker
