Ao abordar as principais estratégias e ações governamentais para a reconfiguração dos papéis a serem assumidos pelo Estado e pela educação superior, o presente artigo tem por objetivo discutir as políticas públicas para a educação enfatizando, nesse contexto mais amplo, a situação atual dos cursos de Pedagogia. Essa perspectiva requer uma incursão nas diretrizes im/pro - postas pelo Banco Mundial e seus reflexos no esforço oficial para a reforma do Aparelho de Estado, encetada pelo Ministério da Administração e Reforma do Estado (MARE). Desde a aprovação da LDB 9.394/96, de forma orgânica, novas políticas de formação de professores vão se delineando por meio da legislação correlata que a regulamenta. A análise desse arcabouço legal estará referenciada tanto nos documentos do MARE, quanto naqueles elaborados pelo Ministério da Educação visando o cotejo entre as medidas por eles propostas com as determinações expressas na LDB e na legislação complementar.

Gestão da informação e do conhecimento em políticas públicas: ações realizadas pela rede CEDES/ME

Dialogues between Government and the Universities are not always narrowed due to the difficulties in the democratization of knowledge about the developed actions. Therefore, this quantitative study aims to manage the information about the actions performed by network CEDES, from Ministry of Sports. Data from documental research and exploratory research were descriptively analyzed by Content Analysis Technique and evidenced that network CEDES represents a potential channel for dialogue between Government and society, having an important role in this critical process.

Acesso à informação geográfica: reflexões sobre a importância das Infraestruturas de Dados Espaciais (IDE) nas políticas públicas

This article discusses the access to geographic information and its importance for the public policies formulation, reflecting on the implementation of the Spatial Data Infrastructure. The data view and the maps construction are useful for identifying needs and sponsoring public managers in decision making. The public policies implementation stages are optimized when the quantitative and qualitative information are integrated to the spatial phenomena relations. The improvement in the use of geographic information for decision making will be achieved when spatial data are efficiently generated in spatial data infrastructures.

Políticas públicas, protagonismo social e comunicação na expansão da cultura no Brasil

Este trabalho analisa aspectos do contexto das políticas públicas culturais contemporâ-neas relacionadas com as ações de mobilização que envolvem a sociedade civil. A aná-lise engloba conhecimento sobre o papel do profissional de Relações Públicas na con-tribuição da execução de políticas culturais que incentivem o protagonismo social atra-vés do Programa Cultura Viva, desenvolvido pelo Ministério da Cultura, com a imple-mentação de Pontos e Pontões de Cultura, e no âmbito de movimentos sociais indepen-dentes. Políticas Públicas de Resíduos Sólidos e a Coleta Seletiva em Regente Feijó - SP

This research was mainly focused on public policy analysis of solid waste, and the National Policy and State Solid Waste, as well as determining the performance of the Blue Green Municipality strategic project in relation to the management of municipal solid waste in Regente Feijó, São Paulo. The objective of this research was to analysis of the consequences of the deployment project of selective collection and integration of recyclable material collectors in an association of collectors, called the Association of Recyclable Material Collectors Rock, held in the city from the year 2008, with effective implementation in 2010. We analyzed the actions of the municipal government since the implementation of selective collection, to the development of the Association. The methodology used was literature concerning the issue; routine field surveys to monitor the activities in the landfill and association of collectors, collecting data from questionnaires appropriate to the research topic. We sought to examine old and new forms of urban solid waste management, the evolution of the historical process of this issue in the city and its social and environmental impacts, and the collectors the main social actors in this process. As Políticas Públicas para a promoção da igualdade racial no contexto de Presidente Prudente

This work aims at presenting the historical and social path traversed in Brazil since slavery until the implementation of affirmative public policies to promote racial equality, at the local level, in the municipality of Presidente Prudente-SP. Therefore, the starting point was the equal rights guaranteed by the Constitution. As a result, there was a brief historical path of national trajectory, starting from slavery to the so-called cordial racism, seeking to demonstrate the route of racial discrimination in the country. Later, we made notes about the necessity and debate on public policy statements of various fields, were made explicit in the text and the articles of the Constitution which prescribe the crime of racism and some of the situations that were highlighted in the national media. The focus in the city of Presidente Prudente was through historical research, interviews, photographic records and documents that informed about the presence of black people in the city. From these data, based on previous research, it was possible to trace the formation and development of the Black Movement in the city and thus point the way to the formation of this City Council for Racial Equality and the need for application of affirmative action policies for the municipality by hereby. Data from the 2000 Census and 2010 indicate the demand of Presidente Prudente as the percentage of blacks self-declared grew this decade. The main demands are paring the areas of Health since the rate of black women Administrative Region (RA) of Presidente Prudente who die in puerperium and high; Education through enhanced, by the Municipal Education Law No. 10,639, and due attention to african-Brazilian culture by respecting the religious manifestations of African origin among others... Mil e Uma Noites do Sertão: As Políticas Públicas para Indutrialização, a Construção do Patrimônio Agroindustrial e os Desafiios das Políticas de Preservação do Patrimônio em São José do Rio Preto - SP

Este texto tem por objetivo apresentar as relações entre as políticas públicas para a industrialização, a construção do patrimônio agroindustrial e os desafios das políticas de preservação do patrimônio em São José do Rio Preto (SP). Nesse sentido, partimos da problematização histórico-teórico do tema, as políticas públicas para a industrialização no Brasil, e seus desdobramentos, e abordamos a construção do patrimônio agroindustrial em Rio Preto, temática vinculada à preservação do patrimônio ambiental urbano , conforme Castriota (2009, p. 87). Problematizamos especificamente as questões relativas aos intelectuais e a organização da cultura , especialmente os libaneses em Rio Preto. A questão dos Intelectuais e a Organização da Cultura , sob uma perspectiva gramsciana (Gramsci, 2001), foi abordada em diversos trabalhos ao longo de nossa trajetória acadêmica (Villela, 2003; 2005; 2008). No sentido de exemplificar tais questões, escolhemos um intelectual orgânico da construção do patrimônio agroindustrial de Rio Preto, Murchid Homsi (1895-1959). Ao analisarmos as práticas destes intelectuais orgânicos , emerge a necessidade de políticas de preservação da Memória do Lugar , no sentido apresentado por Hayden (1997), especialmente do patrimônio de Rio Preto.
