This study presents the trajectory of domestic federal public debt from Brazil in the years 2003 to 2010. Scales the amount spent on financial burden to pay the debt in relation to what was spent on items related to social development, health, education and welfare. The study concludes that Brazil despite an increase in social spending, with effective results, expenditures for the cost of domestic federal debt were much higher than social spending. The numbers were expressive in the maintenance of debt and very tiny in relation to social spending

Simulação e controle de um quadcopter utilizando lógica fuzzy

The present work develops a model to simulate the dynamics of a quadcopter being controlled by a PD fuzzy controller. Initially is presented a brief history of quadcopters an introduction to fuzzy logic and fuzzy control systems. Afterwards is presented an overview of the quadcopter dynamics and the mathematical modelling development applying Newton-Euler method. Then the modelling are implemented in a Simulink model in addition to a PD fuzzy controller. A prototype proposition is made, by describing each necessary component to build up a quadcopter. In the end the results from the simulators are discussed and compared due to the discrepancy between the model using ideal sensor and the model using non-ideal sensors

Estudo da modificação do ângulo do conjunto cilindro-pistão em motores de combustão interna

The aim of this study is to present those who are interested in mechanical engineering, specifically automotive engineering some ideas for improvements to the current concept of internal combustion engines. It is not intenden to change totally the design of the engine known today, but to exame the feasibility of reducing a small waste generated with the current positioning of the cylinder-piston assembly. The proposal solution consists in modifying the tilt cylinder-piston assembly in the angle between the rod and the cylinder axis. This inclination causes all the force generated in the combustion process within the cylinder is delivered to the rod.Delivery force is the made in the rod longitudinal direction and not on the axis of the cylinder, preventing the occurrence of a breakdown of the force generated in the combustion process. After analyzing the idea of repositioning the piston-cylinder assemble, it is concluded that the change has a positive result in the process of harnessing the power generated in the com bustion, but its not feasible due implementation to low gain presented in this study

O local de nidificação do sabiá-barranco (Turdus Leucomelas) (Aves, Turdidae) afeta a temperatura interna do ninho durante a incubação e cuidado à prole?

Individuals of the species Turdus leucomelas are adapted to live in environments already modified by humans, thus obtaining reproductive success in their nesting in vegetation, as well as built their nests in human buildings. Nests found in buildings are often less camouflaged, making them more exposed to predators compared to nests built in vegetation; however the nests built buildings are common, indicating a possible advantage associated with these nests. By means of this idea if was assumed that a possible advantage to this construction in buildings is linked to a change in variation in the internal temperature of the nest during incubation and development of pups until they leave their nests. Accordingly, with the aid of iButtons and TidBits (temperature data loggers), the present study aimed to analyze the influence of the nesting site on how the temperature is kept, and how it changes in the microenvironment in which the nest is inserted, indicating potential benefits associated with that choice. In the samples found with the vegetation, temperature data showed a pattern of temperature of the microenvironment of the nests is not very stable, varying with ambient temperature, whereas in the samples found with the human constructions, the temperature data showed a pattern of temperature microenvironment nests more stable for a long time. When comparing the two environments which they settled nests, as well as the different times of day (daytime and nighttime), how the temperature was kept and pattern of change within the nest was significantly different (F=43.85, p<0.001), with higher and more constant internal temperatures in nests installed in construction, compared to vegetation. Estudo da anatomia interna dos incisivos laterais superiores pelos métodos radiográficos digital e convencional

The maxillary lateral incisor has a very peculiar and internal morphology that can be influenced by the its external anatomy such as supernumerary roots and ruts deep root, which often hinders an effective endodontic treatment. Generally, this tooth have a single root with one root canal, but teeth with two to four channels can be found. The main canal can present ramifications such as accessory canals, laterals, collaterals, recorrents and apical deltas. All this factors interfere directally on endodonthics treatment. The objective of this work is a study of the internal anatomy of the maxillary lateral incisors by digital and conventional radiographics methods, comparing the results obteined by each method Six hundred upper lateral incisor were used in this study teeth of the collection of the Department of Anatomy ICT – UNESP. All the teeth were radiographed by vestibular face, using a digital radiographic unit(Dabi Atlante). After this step, all the teeth underwent by conventional radiographic technique(Kodak 2200) so that the results obtained were compared. To classify the channel system, it was adopted the classification of Pucci and Reig. O ensino da lógica na educação básica

This work has as its aims to offer a general view on the teaching of logics in the basic education by means of different materials on the theme. There are highlighted considerations on academic works in the area of math education that claims the teaching of logics on basic education as a means of developing the reason and promote the learning. It is done a bibliographic review on works that approach the theory of formal logics that presents different ways of working the teaching of logics. The curricular proposition of São Paulo State for the Math area is analyzed and its characteristics are discussed. The learning evaluation in a large federal scale for the teaching of middle and basic education are detailed in its matrix of references and content approached in its editions searching the evidences of a logical reasoning worth. A portal M3 Multimedia math is presented in activities in video format for the teaching of logics. After an analyze of the references where the focus was related to the learning of Math by means of an approaching where logics acts as a tool. It is possible to consider that there is a relevant number of researches and publishing in the area of Math education that approaches the concepts of formal logics. There is also evidences of a changing in National and State orientations for a basic education that reflects in its didactics resources and evaluations in a large scale. Even though, we can face difficulties on implementation of these proposes that is pointed out by constant critics by teachers concerning the changes in the resources and cited evaluations by the resistance of a considerable percentage of teachers to adopt the didactics materials distributed by the State and by the low performance of students in Public Schools in tests of learning

Morfogênese e morfodinâmica: a evidência geográfica da síntese temporal ocidental

This work seeks to explain the historical perspective of the building temporal western, showing the concepts of morphogenesis and morphodynamics as contemporary representations of geographical science for the synthesis forged about time. In this sense, it is the perspective of time in the Middle Ages, its implications and social substantiality, as interposed to time erected by the rise of a merchant class in Europe, we seek to present the social conception of this category in the West, stating that this not constituted as a supra-social element, but built by the organization itself and internal contradiction of European society. Finally, we saw the delineations drawn by geography, set in propositions about the dynamics of nature and society, such being the latest concepts in terms of the logic of assimilation weather prevailing. Tomada de decisão em grupo na seleção de processos para auditoria interna

L’audit, c’est un outil de gestion très important pour que les organisations puissent accomplir la réussite. Selon le fait qu’il n’y a pas des modèles d’aide à l’audit, il existe une opportunité de recherche. En considerant les Méthodes d’Aide à la Décision, il y a des plusieurs type d’applications. L’objectif de la recherche c’est la proposition d’un modèle capable de sélectionner des processus pour faire l’audit dans une distributeur de carburant en considerant la prise de décision en groupe. La modélisation normative empirique c’est la méthode de recherche utilisée. Un modèle qui utilise l’Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) et la prise de décision en groupe a été proposé face aux difficultés d’un département d’Audit Interne. Le modèle proposé présente les poids des processus et permet leur priorisations dans un scénario determiné. Pour l’application de ce modèle présenté, on a utilisé cinq critères et 26 alternative (processus). L’information de jugement a été bien founi par trois spécialistes du département. Quelques rendez-vous avec les participants ont été pris pour obtenir et réviser les donnés ainsi que discuter les résultats. Les résultats obtenus par le modèle permettent d’identifier les processus qu’il faut plus d’attention. L’équipe a considéré le modèle comme une proposition d’aide à la prise de décision très pertinent pour le département d’Audit Interne

Método para reconhecimento de íris baseado na sua região interna

Recognition of individuals through the characteristics of the iris has in recent years become a well accepted technique due to both the high reliability of this procedure and the its non invasiveness. The methods used in such procedures seek information all over the iris, which depending on the algorithm used may result in high computational costs. Considering that most characteristics of the iris are in its inner region the goal of this work is to develop an algorithm for the recognition of individuals using only this region. To bring the outcome of our approach to the level of the best techniques described in the literature this technique has to be further elaborated, even so the results show a promising technique.

Estimação do número de internações por doenças respiratórias utilizando lógica fuzzy tipo-2 intervalar

In this work was developed a fuzzy computational model type-2 predictive interval, using the software of the type-2 fuzzy MATLAB toolbox, the final idea is to estimate the number of hospitalizations of patients with respiratory diseases. The interest in the creation of this model is to assist in decision makeshift hospital environment, where there are no medical or professional equipment available to provide the care that the population need. It began working with the study of fuzzy logic, the fuzzy inference system and fuzzy toolbox. Through a real database provided by the Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS) and Companhia de Tecnologia de Saneamento Básico (CETESB), was possible to start the model. The analyzed database is composed of the number of patients admitted with respiratory diseases a day for the public hospital in São José dos Campos, during the year 2009 and by factors such as PM10, SO2, wind and humidity. These factors were analyzed as input variables and, through these, is possible to get the number of admissions a day, which is the output variable of the model. For data analysis we used the fuzzy control method type-2 Mamdani. In the following steps the performance developed in this work was compared with the performance of the same model using fuzzy logic type-1. Finally, the validity of the models was estimated by the ROC curve

Implementação da metodologia lean manufacturing em uma linha de produção por meio de certificação interna

To the companies maintain competitive in the market, they need continuous improvement in quality and productivity. This continuous improvement can be achieved through lean manufacturing tools. The idea of lean manufacturing is to map the flow to identify the processes that don’t add value in the final product, according the customer specification, in others words is eliminate or reduce the waste on the production flow. However the implementation of lean manufacturing is not so simple and involves the resistance of the employees, lack of training and the lack of knowledge to make the implementation. The objective of this study is determinate the good practices and difficulties found by a multinational company in the field of healthy that aims implementing the Lean Manufaturing through an internal certification. The methodology used to approach the problem is a case of study that analyzes the information introduced through discussion made by a semi structured interview. The case study describes the steps to get the certification, involving the concepts of 5S, balancing, standardization and routine management. The literature and the study case showed that the good practices, such as productivity increases, safety level increases and the machine stability were accomplished, but the majority difficulties was found in cultural factors and planning. Some recommendations were proposed to the others companies, such as the elaboration of a qualification matrix and the review of the activities chronogram during the implementation. The way that the company found to implement Lean Manufacturing concepts was a creative method to show to everybody the objective and the target to be accomplished and is one way to recognize the effort through the certification
