Corpos-de-prova tubulares soldados e respectivo dispositivo para ensaios de fadiga sob esforços co-planares

O presente modelo de utilidade refere-se à configuração ou configurações de corpos-de-prova tubulares soldados e um dispositivo desenvolvido para induzir-lhes esforços combinados de tração e flexão a partir dos carregamentos axiais. Os corpos-de-prova são compostos por dois tubos metálicos (1, 2) aos quais são soldados dois tubos diversos (3, 4), posicionados diametralmente opostos e em diversos ângulos, preferencialmente em ângulos múltiplos de 15<198>. Refere-se ainda a um dispositivo para ensaio, ao qual são acoplados corpos-de-prova, de modo a permitir ensaios de resistência à fadiga sob esforços coplanares. Os braços do corpo-de-prova (8) são montados nos braços (9) do dispositivo. Pinos (10) são encaixados nos braços (9) e fixados.

To design connections between timber parts with metal dowels (nails or bolts), two phenomena must be considered: bending of the metal dowel and the embedment strength in the wood. The Brazilian Standard ABNT NBR 7190:1997 proposes the methods used in the laboratory tests to determine the embedment strength with the metal dowell and, in the absence of testing, specifies relations to calculate the embedment strength from the compression strength. The aim of this research was to compare the embedment strength values obtained by experimental tests and calculated by the relationships established by the Brazilian Standard ABNT NBR 7190:1997. By the results of the hypothesis tests, it was possible to conclude that the estimate of the embedment strength parallel to the grain proposed by the Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 7190:1997, establishing equivalence with the strength compression results in the same direction, must be effective to the wood species Pinus taeda L., however, the same was not found in the perpendicular direction with respect to the grain, possibly explained by the alpha(e) values in the equation to calculed fe(90)

Recursos tecnológicos: uma abordagem educacional

This study aimed to analyze the use of technological resources by teachers during their daily practice, especially the computer, in public and private elementary schools in Botucatu - SP. We know that today's society, called the Information Society and Knowledge, changes the context of education, since students have access to various information a short time. For this purpose, we use literature as a methodology and data collection through the application of a questionnaire answered by 49 students in public schools, state and private network cited. The choice of the students took place because of the diversity of schools in which they live. Our intention was not to make generalizations, but knowing more about the use of technology in these contexts from the perspective of students. The choice of subject had reason for their timeliness and necessity of knowledge, thus contributing to a comprehensive education and quality. Estudo e aplicação da técnica de vibroacustografia em ensaios não destrutivos

A presença de falhas, trincas, furos e fadigas causam perturbações nos modos vibracionais (normais) de uma estrutura, por exemplo, tubos, gasodutos e peças metálicas. Uma vez conhecido o espectro de freqüência de uma estrutura instalada em condições normais (sem falhas), é possível acompanhar através, de ensaios não destrutivos uma alteração no espectro de freqüência que pode estar associado a alguma falha mecânica na estrutura.O presente trabalho busca encontrar um padrão nos sinais de resposta dos materiais analisados pela técnica de Vibroacustografia, antes e depois das deformidades causadas.
