O poder da televisão na construção da infância

Com o desenvolvimento da tecnologia, os meios de comunicação de massa evoluíram gradativamente. Neste cenário atual, a televisão representa um dos meios mais poderosos, visto que sua capacidade de alcance abarca milhões de pessoas, dentre elas, o público infantil. Frente aos recursos utilizados, como a exploração de imagens e sons, capazes de acionar as mais variadas emoções, observa-se a presença de um discurso ideológico que, estando aliado ao consumo, propõe mascarar as relações de fragmentação social. Tal discurso é dissipado pela televisão, e encontra-se inserido no universo infantil, denotando aspecto de preocupação. Por isso, a presente pesquisa consiste num trabalho de investigação e crítica acerca dos valores perpassados pela ideologia da classe dominante através da TV, revelando a urgência da discussão e da educação voltadas para a formação de telespectadores críticos, desde sua infância.

História de vida e formação: educando o olhar e percebendo pesquisa enquanto experiência

Way in the theme of the story of my life and training and electingchildhood as a guide in the works of Benjamin. I will continue outliningmy experience in research groups choosing the language and itsinterfaces specifically with art cinema / pictures in the construction of our subjectivity in postmodernity. The methodology is qualitative, will take place within what we call the ethical self. Transcendence is an act and not a process, and yetas an overshooting of history is always historically situated and,therefore, has a concrete context. A (in)visibilidade dos maus-tratos na infância: concepções e posicionamentos dos profissionais da Educação Infantil

Even though we have an advanced protective legislation regarding children, the maltreatment perpetrated against them is still considered a public health problem in our country, with significant rates in the 0 to 6 years old range. This practice results in serious damages to the development of the assaulted individual: mental health, social adaptation and integration, and even repetition of the learned model. The school, although required (art. 245, ECA) to denounce and notify suspected and/or proven cases of violence to the eligible public agencies, has a very low percentage of participation in these notifications. Therefore, the objective of this study was to map the conception, placement and forwarding done by kindergarten professional about suspected and/or proven cases of maltreatment in their students to determine how such phenomenon is known, recognized, (re)constructed and (re)produced in social relations. The surveyed institutions were five kindergarten public schools, located in a mid-size city in the state of São Paulo. The adopted methodological procedures were the collection and analysis of quantitative-qualitative data, based on the anthropological research method on urban social groups. To collect the data, we used the following instruments: the questionnaire (38) and the interviews (6), applied in the period of October/2009 to May/2010. The analysis of the obtained data indicated some factors that hinder an effective positioning in fighting violence: professionals report the presence of suspected maltreatment (45%), however, the allegations are not investigated; the lack of knowledge and/or distorted concepts about the legislation, and also indicators of the presence of maltreatment, of its negative consequences to the development of the child, the false belief in the sanctity of the family and that maltreatment only occurs in the ghetto, in the lower classes... Cri-an-ça: a criatividade, a infância e a imaginação expressadas no desenho (porque os adultos têm sempre necessidade de explicações detalhadas)

O interesse por esta temática de trabalho surgiu a partir de um estudo realizado em minha iniciação científica, que tem por título “Ação, Câmera, Luz: Entre imagens e olhares – experiência de infâncias e montagens” desenvolvido no Departamento de Educação do Instituto de Biociências, localizado na Universidade Estadual Paulista – UNESP/Rio Claro. Como o próprio título sugere, ela tem por principal objetivo inverter a lógica da conhecida frase: “Luz, Câmera, Ação”. Este trabalho, ao inverter a ordem dos fatores, busca ver se ao deixarmos a ação das crianças livre, o que se produziria seria algo mais verdadeiro, mais significativo, de fato. O que a ausência de intencionalidade geraria aos produtores de imagens. A partir de então, comecei a imaginar outro tipo de produção de imagens, não mais com câmeras fotográficas e filmadoras, mas de próprio punho. Portanto, este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar as crianças, e suas realidades através do que elas mesmas nos dizem e nos mostram em seu dia a dia por meio de seus desenhos. Os desenhos utilizados foram retirados de uma instituição de ensino não formal da cidade de Rio Claro, e entendidos como documentos. A pesquisa traz também um aporte teórico com as concepções sobre desenho infantil de alguns teóricos, como Lowenfel, Greig, La Pastina, Vigotski entre outros

A arte do teatro na educação durante a infância: a percepção dos professores acerca de suas contribuições

Seeking new ways to be used in the process of teaching and learning, he turned a look at alternative lines of research, going to value the arts in education, and inside, there has been a major focus of the relationship to both the theater and education. Currently, the theater has been the subject of research in education and has been also widely used as an educational resource, and its adoption by professionals is based on studies showing the contributions of the theater to child development. The theater, while playing, artistic expression and involves imagination, creation and sociability.This paper presents child development in all its phases, the importance of games, especially the symbolic games, during this process, through the perspective of Jean Piaget, a brief history of the theater within the education and the contributions actuallyits use as methodology of teaching and learning brings to children's development of the early years of elementary school, bringing the discussion as teachers' perception about the real possibility of its use in schools as a way of teaching and learning. Abordagem dos maus tratos na infância por unidades de saúde da família

The goal of this study was to apprehend conceptualizations and professional experiences concerning child maltreatment as reported by physicians and nurses working for the Family Health Strategy implemented in a medium-sized city in São Paulo state. It is a descriptive qualitative study in which 20 professionals were included and semi-structured taped interviews were used. The data obtained were analyzed according to the Collective Subject Discourse and systematized into five themes: Conceptualizations of child maltreatment; Professional training to work in this field; Professional experiences related to such aggravations; Difficult and easy aspects faced during care provision to child maltreatment in the Family Health Strategy; Proposals to promote child safety. It was concluded that care provision to such aggravation types by family health units is configured as an important strategy to promote child safety and support families in relation to this issue. However, it was observed that, in order to qualify professionals for such care provision, it is necessary to invest in continuing education for the multiprofessional team. Also, municipal policies concerning care provision to child abuse, particularly in the organization of integrated work of the health care, education, social welfare and justice sectors must be urgently established by actively including the general society in such process

Infância, família e escola: análise dos significados da Infância e dos Direitos da Criança

This study aimed at analyzing the meanings of Children and Child Rights awarded by the kindergarten children and their educators, parents and teacher. Interest in the subject arose from the participation of the University Extension Project, conducted at the Department of Education, UNESP, Bauru, called The Rights of the Child: ECA in school. Since then, the question arose: to what extent we have visibility of meanings that educators and the child has on the Rights of the Child relating to the specifics of childhood? The research followed the tenets of qualitative research, methodological procedures and adopting the observation in a classroom from kindergarten (K II), semi-structured interview through leisure moments, with the class of aged five years and a questionnaire for family and teacher. The research adopted as reference material, studies of the area of Sociology of Childhood, History of Childhood, Public Policy, Legislation Related to the theme, and an overview of psychogenic to talk about the morality of children. The results showed that parents and caregivers understand childhood as a stage of child development, marked by jokes and fancies, in which the family and the school has an important role in this process. In what concerns the children's rights, there are contradictions in the legal aspects and the situation of children today. The results showed that children's childhood is characterized by recreational activities, and adults are responsible for caring for them. And it comes on the Rights of the Child noted that there is a confusion between rights and duties because they are in a phase of moral heteronomy. Afetividade na infância e suas manifestações na escola

Este estudo teve por objetivo pesquisar a afetividade no universo escolar e mais especificamente na educação infantil. A proposta pretende focar nas manifestações infantis e nos modos de produção do vínculo da criança com o outro. Neste sentido é uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico tendo como foco estudos desenvolvidos na área. Tomo como ponto de partida desta reflexão, olhares para os filmes, “O garoto da bicicleta”, dos diretores Jean-Pierre e Luc- Dardenne, “ A central do Brasil”, do diretor Walter Salles e o filme “Ser e Ter”, de Nicolas Philbert. E como ponte de partida aborda a questão da afetividade em autores que discutem a infância no campo da psicologia do desenvolvimento como Henri Wallon

O papel do recreador de acampamentos como educador

As atividades de recreação e lazer podem apresentar um alto teor educativo, sendo coadjuvantes importantes no processo educacional, entretanto, torna-se necessária a atuação de um profissional competente, o qual possa estar consciente de suas funções e ações, inclusive, quando lida em ambiente não-formal de educação, como é o caso dos acampamentos, vivenciados nos momentos destinados ao lazer. Este estudo de natureza qualitativa teve por objetivo investigar, na visão dos próprios profissionais da recreação atuantes em acampamentos educacionais, como eles percebem seu papel como educador e como contribuem na formação sociocultural dos acampantes. O trabalho desenvolveuse em duas etapas, a primeira com uma revisão de literatura acerca do tema e a segunda com uma pesquisa exploratória, utilizando-se como instrumento um questionário contendo perguntas abertas e fechadas. A amostra foi composta por 27 participantes, de ambos os sexos, com idade média de 22 anos e 6 meses, de diferentes níveis socioeconômicos e com envolvimento na atividade há mais de um ano. Os dados coletados foram analisados descritivamente, utilizando-se a técnica de Análise de Conteúdo e indicam que todos os sujeitos do estudo, acreditam contribuir efetivamente para mudanças positivas de conduta dos acampantes e em sua formação sociocultural. Esses profissionais são, portanto, conscientes de sua função educativa, entretanto, apontaram a necessidade de se envolverem com este propósito, buscando as melhores estratégias para o fim educacional, sem perder as peculiaridades do ambiente lúdico. A partir disto, conclui-se que experiências significativas no âmbito do lazer, como as dos acampamentos educacionais, são capazes de contribuir em aspectos educacionais e socioculturais, por meio da atuação de um recreador competente

O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi o de investigar os sentidos e concepções sobre a infância e a adolescência na sociedade atual e suas implicações no âmbito escolar. Buscamos entender os porquês que esse processo vem ocorrendo tendo como pressuposto sua associação com os modos de tutela e a consequente autonomia e independência precoce que crianças e adolescentes parecem estar adquirindo na sociedade atual. Ao examinar as concepções de infância e adolescência de crianças e adolescentes, buscamos investigar os limites e a autonomia das crianças e dos adolescentes, caracterizando os modos de tutela que os pais empregam na relação com seus filhos e analisar as implicações destas concepções no âmbito escolar

As políticas de formação do arte educador no século XXI: o caso da UNESP no Estado de São Paulo

This paper deals with the training of art educators, focusing on the courses offered at public universities in the state of São Paulo, where, specifically the pedagogical approach of training curricula of grades offered at UNESP, campus of São Paulo and Bauru. In the current situation have been proposed, from training in undergraduate courses, new tasks and responsibilities to work teaching the teacher in order to develop this educational increasingly effective so as to ensure efficient productivity autonomous learner in the process cognitive development in basic education, the teacher being assigned the task of stimulating that process and manage situations of educational work as a way of systematizing knowledge. The research consisted of questioning whether that teacher training allowed contact with the educational resources necessary for teaching, under current conditions assigned by the neoliberal conjuncture educational work of art educator with a view to the formation of aesthetic sensibility of the students from the class working, privileged pupils of public schools, to contribute to establishing the apprehension about the pedagogical training of art educators to confront the reality school, considering the specificity of action of these teachers. Therefore we conducted a desk study of existing legislation and the National Curriculum Guidelines that guide teacher training, correlating them to Pedagogical Policy Projects and curricula of undergraduate courses in Arts Education and / or Visual Arts courses UNESP. Infância, ludicidade e pedagogia hospitalar: encontros e desencontros nas práticas educativas

The aim of this study is to investigate the significance of educational practices aimed at children in non formal education, in this case, specifically, the hospital context. The chosen methodology is part of an investigation conducted in two phases. In the first phase was carried out a theoretical stage, scientifically based studies guided by an historical-cultural and Sociology of Childhood, enabling placement on the particularities of children, the playfulness and the positioning of Pedagogy in the hospital. After this theoretical study was performed the second phase, with the completion of an empirical study with a research and intervention in a hospital playroom, in a public hospital considered a regional center in the northwestern city of São Paulo. The methodological procedures adopted for this empirical study were participant observation, interviews, action research and a questionnaire. Participant observation and action research are conducted within the brinquetodeca in five meetings with about 15 children, interviews were conducted with three family members and the questionnaire was applied to a healthcare professional. Among the results we can mention the following findings: a confirmation of the necessity of work in the hospital directing playful adaptations for the preservation and development of children's learning, and recent publications are scarce about the Hospital Education and underscore the need for the professional practice of education in non-school, the educational activities carried out reveals the possibilities of offering the child the continuation of their educational activities involving the playful and educational, the international and national literature on educational practices in the hospital allow to check ...(Complete abstract click electronic access below)
