Produção científica sobre educação médica no Brasil: estudo a partir das publicações da Revista Brasileira de Educação Médica

Research in medical education is the critical and systematic study of teaching and learning in medicine. It's a developing field with an increasing number of researchers and publications. In Brazil, the Brazilian Journal of Medical Education (RBEM) is the main journal in the area. The present study describes Brazilian scientific production in medical education by analyzing papers published by the RBEM from 2006 to 2010. In this period, the number of articles increased by 117.6%, averaging 60.4 articles per year. There was also an increase in the proportion of new research studies. The Southeast region and public institutions account for the greatest share of the articles. The most frequent keywords were medical education, medical students and curriculum. The growth of the RBEM reflects the development of research in medical education in Brazil and is in keeping with the logic of national scientific production.

The Brazilian Journal of Special Education was first published in 1992 and has been continuously evaluated internally by scholars of the Brazilian Association of Researchers in Special Education, and externally, by Capes and ANPEd. The last evaluation made by Capes indicated a Qualis A2 for the Brazilian Journal of Special Education. The aim of this article is to discuss these evaluations in order to improve the quality of the journal. The proposed evaluation focused on qualitative parameters presented by the Anped assessment, and statistical parameters available by SciELO. The result of this analysis is that the Brazilian Journal of Special Education has similar parameters to journals qualified as A1, and sometimes even higher than those. Discussion of quality improvement of the journal indicated: 1) the need to receive articles via internet through its peer review system; 2) assignment of coeditors to ensure the evaluation flow of submitted manuscripts; 3) investment in infrastructure, such as purchase of computers and software to improve editing and publishing.

O objetivo deste trabalho é abordar a história dos correios, sua educação corporativa, e analisar os artigos científicos que se relacionam à educação e servirão como fundamentação teórica. A metodologia é um estudo bibliográfico; o principal resultado é a análise e abordagem da educação corporativa da empresa em relação à formação das competências dos funcionários da empresa; a conclusão é a de que a empresa, apesar de ser um órgão público e burocrático, teve que se adaptar aos novos paradigmas do mundo do trabalho, investindo em programas de aperfeiçoamento, visando o lucro, mas acima de tudo valorizando o funcionário, por compreender a complexidade humana, com base nos quatro pilares da educação, segundo a UNESCO. As fundações de apoio às universidades públicas: efeitos da reforma do Estado na educação superior brasileira

The article discusses support foundations for public universities starting from the effects of State reform on Brazilian higher education in the 1990s. Based on Max Weber’s Comprehensive Sociology and on bibliographical and documentary research, it socio-historically circumscribes the management model of State administration and the concept of foundation. As one identifies the intersections between the guidelines of support foundations and the purposes of managerial administration, one understands the significance of such institutions for university management and the tendency towards commodification of Brazilian higher education.

A temática afro brasileira no contexto da Educação Física escolar

The choice Brazilian african study theme in the general education, and particularly in physical education has not advanced as to be themed with the subject matter. Even open to this issue, in 2003 a law was passed introducing an obligation of racial ethnic correlations in Brazil. Law 10.639, changed the LDB (Guidelines and Framework Act, 1996) and establishing the obligation both in elementary school as high school, public and private, the teaching of history and African Culture and African Brazilian. As the main objective of disseminating the importance of valuing the African culture and its legacy, expanding the looks and the knowledge about the culture and history of a people who often are discriminated against and excluded by society. The questions that arise are the following: The physical education teacher know that prerogative? Incorporates the Brazilian african discussion in their classes? Discusses with students these subjects related to corporal practices? Have difficulty in dealing with this issue? What? Thus the aim of this study was to detect whether and how a group of physical education teachers is the Brazilian african theme in their classes, for the fulfillment of the Law 10.639 / 03. The methodology of this study was qualitative descriptive type. Were used for data collection semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. The data obtained through interviews with teachers were transcribed, reviewed and classified according to the content analysis. Dispositivo estratégico, resistência e relações de poder: um ensaio sobre a identidade do Centro de Educação Matemática (CEM) e seu papel na (E)educação (M)matemática brasileira

This paper presents some results of the investigation on the Mathematical Education Centre (CEM), a group of mathematics teachers’ educators in São Paulo, Brazil, acting mainly between 1984 and 1997. The essay, marked by an effort to constitute the identity of the CEM based on Foucault, assumes that the identity constitution process is not about what CEM is or was, but mainly about a set of possibilities of apprehending it from its historically contextualized strategies and initiatives. In this Foucauldian reading, which brings about concepts such as "strategic device", "resistance" and "power relations", the CEM constitution appears while it creates conditions for the constitution of Brazilian modern mathematical education.

O que sabemos sobre a pesquisa brasileira voltada à educação em museus de ciências?

Over the past four decades it occurred a great expansion of science education research in Brazil (TEIXEIRA, 2008). Considering the scientific production in the area, descriptive studies, called state of the art are necessary, but little found in Brazilian scientific literature, especially in the field of science education. In this context, this paper identifies and describes the main features and trends of Brazilian research in the field of education in science museums, released in the form of dissertations and thesis, in the period 1970 to 2010. It is a qualitative and quantitative research, which performs a document analysis, in a bibliographical review. We mapped 153 academic researches, mainly in the Rio-São Paulo axis, mostly in the last decade, showing that the area can be characterized as an emerging field in science education.
