Beans grain productivity may be reduced by up to 80% and, therefore, knowing the proper time to control weeds becomes fundamental, his research was conducted in order to determine the period prior to interference (PPI) on bean cultivars of different types'plant growth through distinct approaches: arbitrary level of 5% productivity loss; tolerance level (TL), and the Weed Period Prior to Economic Loss (WEEPPEL). Experimental treatments were constituted of ten periods of coexistence, periods of the crop with the weeds: 0-7; 0-14; 0-21; 0-28; 0-35; 0-42; 0-49; 0-56; 0-97 (harvesting) days after emergency (DAE), and a control plot, weed free for the entire period. The experimental design was of the Random Block Design, with four replications. PPI was obtained in all of the different approaches, and the bean plant type II with indeterminate growth had the lowest times of coexistence.

As Artes Marciais tiveram, em sua maioria, origem no Oriente, em meados do sculo XIX, principalmente Japo, ndia e China. No inicio essas Artes apresentavam carter de defesa pessoal e militar. No entanto a intensificao do contato com o Ocidente e a evoluo das armas de fogo, fez com que as lutas que utilizavam apenas o corpo cassem em desuso, passando a ser usada como uma modalidade esportiva e competitiva. Atualmente tem adeptos no mundo todo que buscam avanos nos aspectos fsicos (sade), motores e psicolgicos, ale de aprimorar o autodomnio, superar limites e melhorar o poder de concentrao (KODOKAN, 1995). Dentre as modalidades mais difundidas pelo mundo, destacam-se o Karat, o Kung-fu, o Jiu-Jitsu e o Jud, destas darei maior nfase nas duas ltimas. A Psicologia do esporte uma rea da psicologia que visa promover a sade, a comunicao, as relaes interpessoais, a liderana e a melhora do desempenho esportivo. Artes marciais so modalidades onde so encontrados altos nveis de estresse pelas mais variadas causas, sendo assim uma reviso bibliogrfica foi realizada para buscar analisar as variveis envolvidas e respostas de atletas das modalidades bem como os treinadores envolvidos

The goal of the present study was to investigate possible differences towards strenght recovery measured by different methods and running economy (RE), after one session of downhill running (DR), in order to induce muscle damage (MD). Our hypothesis is that the strenght recovery measured by jumps is more alike RE markers, due to the measures' specificity. Ten male subjects, ages 18 to 30, apparently healthy, without any experience with strenght training at least 6 months before the tests took place in this study. After going to the lab twice (to familiarize themselves with the protocols, and determine their maximum oxygen consumption/running speeds), they went to the lab five times in the following week, in order to collect all the variables before, immediately after, and 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours in. The variables obtained were: stride frequency (SF), stride lenght (SL), oxygen volume (VO2), carbon dioxide volume (VCO2), ventilation (VE), lactate blood concentration ([Lac]), isometric peak torque (IPT), subjective pain perception (SPP), effort perception (EP), medial-portion circumference (CIR), knee movement extent (EXT), torque development rate (TDR), counter movement jump and squat jump height (HCM and HS), strenght development rate of both jumps (SDCM and SDS), and maximum soil strenght reaction (SRCM and SRS). Changes over time in all variables were verified by one way variancy analysis. Differences between the strenght measures were verified by two way variancy analysis. When significant effects were verified, Tuckey's post-hoc were applied. The significancy level taken on this study was p < 0,05. Of all indirect muscle damage markers, IPT, SPP and TDR were the only ones in which ocurred significant changes. We couldn't find the moments where this happened for TDR with the post-hoc used. A educação crist na atualidade tem gerado novas vertentes e abordagens de ensino, entre elas a Educação por Princpios. Com origem nos Estados Unidos, essa abordagem chegou ao Brasil em 1988, e j possui um nmero considervel de escolas que aderem a essa perspectiva, porm, ainda no conhecida no contexto educativo. A partir deste pressuposto, o seguinte trabalho tem como objetivo ampliar a compreenso da Educação Crist por Princpios, seu histrico, sua filosofia, seus métodos de ensino e a aplicabilidade dos princpios no currculo escolar. Para isso foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa qualitativa seguindo a metodologia de pesquisa bibliogrfica e anlise documental. Concluiu-se que alguns dos pontos da abordagem apresentada dificilmente poderiam ser inseridos na escola regular, por esta ser laica. Entretanto, os sete princpios bsicos que caracterizam a Educação por Princpios trariam grandes contribuies, principalmente por resgatar valores de convivncia social

Aim: To analyze dental students' view concerning Oral Health Education. Materials and Methods: The present research, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, addresses aspects related to dental students' understanding of Oral Health Education, the value that they attach to this practice in the school environment, as well as the importance of their participation in these and other activities during their studies in dentistry. Results: Although dental students recognize the importance of Oral Health Education in the school environment,as well as the importance of their own participation within these activities, their perception of "Oral Health Education" is reductionist and focused primarily on the disease. Conclusion: It is well-known that these findings are reflections and consequences of an established context within a university education. It is therefore necessary that these professional educators perform an in-depth rethinking of the dental practice, in an attempt to develop methodologies based on Health Education in their own teaching practices.

Objective: To conduct a survey on national databases about Oral Health Program (OHP) publications in schools, in the last eleven years. Material and Methods: A survey was conducted in two main bases of national publications in the field of dentistry: Bireme and Scielo. To start the research, it was used the articles theme/subject. In the search, it was used the keywords 'oral health education', 'programs and oral health and dentistry', 'programs and oral health and education'. Results: A total of 20 publications were selected. From these, seven (35%) had the aim to evaluate educational methods used in OHP, 12 (60%) evaluated the effectiveness of the OHP itself developed in the school and one (5%) reported the experience of OHP. Only two publications did not get positive results and the other eighteen obtained advantageous results. Conclusion: In the national scientific literature, there are few publications about the subject in question, suggesting that the successful experiences about OHP in schools must be published to be replicated in other parts of Brazil.

Esta pesquisa revela o rigor adotado nas pesquisas dos cursos de licenciatura e bacharelado em Educação Fsica, aplicando a Pesquisa do Fenmeno Situado. Primeiramente expe o mundo vida do autor , passa a uma pr-reflexo sobre o assunto, o rigor nos TCCs, situa o fenmeno na conscincia dos alunos que entregaram seus TCCs o ano passado e segue o mtodo da anlise apresentando as anlises ideogrficas e a construo dos resultados. O rigor nos TCCs no alcanado e chega a ser menos importante que o retorno social da pesquisa. O rigor no alcanado por falta de conhecimento dos alunos em métodos e tcnicas mais eficientes para serem usados em suas pesquisas

This research has as its main reference, the need to detect the development initiatives by public higher education, concepts, methods and teaching and pedagogical tools and to investigate the ability to transfer knowledge and practices of teaching and learning produced for other levels education. The task of providing appropriate training of teachers of basic education to university education is a vital political and administrative demands for a large country, which needs to adequately educate its people, so he can face in the right conditions, the huge and complex demands of regional and national development. The research presented here, aims to gauge the extent and adequacy of current media and information as tools for teaching and pedagogical transfer the knowledge and practices of teaching and learning as a tool for updating and also for training or non-presence blended Primary School Teacher Education. From the established goals will be carried out research, conceptual and field, to analyze and evaluate some educational practices and resulting forms of communication and also to assess the effects brought about by replacing the linear communication model and the model of unilateral to multilateral communication networks on digital models, and practices of schooling. The results obtained from both theoretical and practical will be on the selection of concepts, content production, methodologies and resources run by different "means" integrated with the cultural, economic and social development, both locally, regionally or nationally. The strategic aim will be to expand from the analysis, production and dissemination of concepts, methods and tools made by teachers of Basic Education and Higher Education, teaching and pedagogical possibilities of media and digital devices that are emerging as the derivation of network communication.

This paper describes the development of educational materials on media education as a result of workshops held for students and teachers of high school in Midialab Media Education Laboratory of Universidade Sagrado Corao. The objectives of this exploratory research were to investigate how teachers and students learn about media, looking for similarities and differences in the performance of the two groups in order to make it possible to conclude what methodology frameworks had a best result for promoting the media literacy of each group, taking on account the characteristics of public school and the paradigms of international media literacy. The methodology involved the application of activities focusing on six strategies: textual analysis, contextual analysis, content analysis, case study, translation, simulation and production. The results suggested that such activities are a productive way to develop critical reading skill and to reduce the differences between teachers and students repertoire. They also presented good results in the development of language usage by them and promoted collaborative learning, in a social approach.

Tradicionalmente a prescrio de exerccios fsicos baseada unicamente em relao carga externa. Entretanto, as adaptaes fisiolgicas em funo do treinamento fsico dependem da carga interna. Assim, a carga interna deve ser levada em considerao para uma otimizao da prescrio exerccios fsicos, principalmente durante exerccios em grupos que normalmente so utilizados para a populao idosa. Porm, o envelhecimento parece acarretar em deterioraes na capacidade de interocepo, colocando em questionamento a validade de um dos principais métodos de quantificao da carga interna, o mtodo que utiliza a percepo subjetiva de esforo (PSE). Desse modo, o objetivo do presente estudo foi comparar os métodos de quantificao da carga interna que utilizam a frequncia cardaca (FC), considerado o padro-ouro para o presente estudo, com o mtodo que utiliza a PSE na populao idosa. Quarenta idosos praticantes de ginstica aerbia (A) ou musculao (M) foram avaliados durante uma sesso de exerccios fsicos. A determinao da carga interna pela FC e pela PSE foram realizadas atravs dos métodos de Edwards e de Foster, respectivamente. Os valores de carga interna (expressos em unidades arbitrrias) calculados pelo mtodo da FC e PSE foram 69,4 40,0 e 151,5 83,5 para o grupo M e 73,3 37,1 e 134,7 41,6 para o grupo A, respectivamente. O valor de carga interna para os dois grupos em conjunto foi de 71,3 38,2 pelo mtodo da FC e de 143,1 65,7 pela PSE. A relao entre os métodos foi determinada usando-se o coeficiente de correlao de Pearson para todos os participantes em conjunto (T), assim como para os grupos M e A. As correlaes encontradas foram de r = 0,33 (p < 0,05) para T, r = 0,37 (p = 0,11) para M e r = 0,32 (p = 0,17) para A. A moderada correlao obtida coloca em questo a utilizao do mtodo da PSE para a quantificao de carga interna...
