Since the decade of 1990's, a debate has grown about the so called creative industries. The creatives industries are build for sectors where the creativity emerges as a main input for the products elaboration which are valued by intellectual property statutes. The present monograph intends to describe Journalism as a creative activity, expose how intellectual property works in this area and analyze the function of news aggregators, like Google News, both in author rights matter terms, as about on the recent news mediator and distributor role on digital platforms

O papel do relações públicas na cultura da convergência

In the globalized world of capitalism, the organizations need to reinvent themselves in order to conquer the attention of the consumers. The offer of similar products is huge and it is necessary to innovate so the consumer will pick yours. The storytelling comes as an auxiliary tool for this difficult task. The transmedia is a tool that will put the products in many different media platforms. The convergence culture exists to make the experience with the brand become closer. Sometimes the consumer dictates the rules; in other moments the producers take this function for themselves; nowadays, this relation occurs in terms of the intense interactivity with the consumer. Concerning the Public Relations professional, among the questions that remain, we can city: where does the professional of Public Relations fit itself inside this complex context? Which would be its functions amid this whirlpool of information in the convergence culture era? These are the questions that are going to guide this paper

Estudos sobre o Brasil Colonial: arquivos e fontes

The information technology and the increasing interest in the American Latin studies, especially about Brazil, are the objective of these reflections. In the research about the colonial period in Brazil, a group of works, systematized and divulged by electronic means, beyond the usual sources – Portuguese, Italian and Brazilian Universities and Institutes – are from Europe and North America, and its access is facilitated by the worldwide network. Platforms and collections such as Europeana and others less known constitute important sources to the studies of this field. We will comment here some fundamentals to contribute to the subject sources of colonial Brazil.

Cocriação nas redes sociais: um estudo do caso Jornada Ekos

This study aims to address the significance of co-creation and its importance in the process for competitive advantage among the processes and social changes that have impact on the interests and market needs. For this, was made a case study of the project Jornada Ekos, of Natura, an open network of people who identify with the essence and purpose of the company, through a literature search in the works and records of the Jornada Ekos, such as sites about the study, social networks and search of testimonials. Was analyzed the strategies of the co-creation process used by the company on social networks in 2014. The elements analyzed were content, content generation, multimedia content, multiple platforms, interaction, building bond and innovation. The analysis identified a communication which sought to build strong bonds with those involved on the Jornada Ekos, once the company sought to innovate through co-creation and strengthen the relationship with the public, in addition to strengthening the institutional image of the organization through the dissemination of Jornadas Ekos project on the media

Assimetria no controle postural em idosos caidores e não caidores neurologicamente sadios e com doenã de Parkinson em diferentes posições estáticas

Individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) seem to present asymmetric postural control, and the commitment to postural control that is a big factor of falls in this population. However, the asymmetry in the postural control of fallers and non fallers with PD and neurologically healthy elderly is not too much studied. The objective of the study is to analyze the asymmetry in postural control in different static positions of elderly patients with PD and healthy elderly fallers and non fallers. The study included 70 older adults with PD and 70 neurologically healthy (CG). The groups were matched for age, gender, height, weight and cognitive condition. It was evaluated the clinical, cognitive status and incidence of falls among its participants through weekly prospective follow-up of 4 months. Then, for each group, CG and PD, it was selected 12 elderly fallers and 12 elderly non fallers to evaluate postural control. Participants were evaluated through two force platforms in conditions of bipedal support, unipedal and tandem position. It was realized 3 attempts of 30s for each condition. For unipedal and tandem condition it was made 3 attempts for each lower limb. The parameters of interest of the center of pressure (CoP), were analyzed for each condition and compared by MANOVAs with factor group, fall and asymmetry. Post hoc Tukey tests were used to determine the relationships between them. The results show that CG individuals showed greater velocity and CoP area in relation to PD. It was verified that at the control group that non fallers individuals (CGN) had more displacement and RMS in the average lateral direction in the dominant limb when compared to the less affected limb of non fallers with PD (PDN). Faller individuals in the control group (CGF) had larger area in the non dominant limb when compared to the most affected leg of fallers individuals with PD (PDF).
