O termo Artemídia Sequente expressa um processo artístico-científico realizado na interface Arte-Comunicação-Ciência, apresentado como Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso em Artes Visuais na modalidade Bacharelado. A primeira parte deste trabalho tem como objetivo identificar e evidenciar, na abordagem da pesquisa artístico-científica, algumas das consequências da vinda da linguagem do mangá para o Brasil na produção atual de histórias em quadrinhos, tanto as observadas no mercado editorial tradicional quanto na produção independente. A identificação é feita a partir de levantamento bibliográfico e iconográfico do tema Mangá no Brasil, de estudos de casos com análises de obras de ambas as vertentes de publicação e de contextualização da veiculação digital/virtual. Além disso, também relacionarei os quadrinhos analisados com a Internet para assim estudar seu vínculo com o público através do meio digital. Na segunda parte tenho como objetivo mostrar e especificar a Artemídia Sequente ao relatar o processo completo da produção de uma história em quadrinhos de minha autoria: Dragon Tales, uma consequencia do mangá na publicação de quadrinhos no Brasil. O presente trabalho está inserido na linha de pesquisa Processos e procedimentos artísticos do Departamento de Artes Plásticas do Instituto de Artes da UNESP e descreve: partindo das ideias iniciais, roteiro, concept arts, desenhos das páginas, line art e chegando até a finalização da revista com o fechamento dos arquivos para serem enviados a uma gráfica. A monografia inclui também, como apêndice, uma cópia impressa do primeiro capítulo da história que produzi em forma de revista. This article brings to light the latest research on the activities of Baptiste-Louis Garnier, French bookseller and publisher established in Rio de Janeiro, in his relations with the French publishing world: methods, procedures, books, authors and publishers. Cultural exchanges between these two systems helped to consolidate the canon of authors and works of Brazilian Literature in the nineteenth century. The study of these relationships can give full account of some information scholars have provided us and contributes to a better understanding of the process of production and circulation of literary works in Brazil.

This project developed microstructural characterization technics of commercial dualphase and multi-phasic (TRIP) steels that were provided by the automotive industry and are currently used as the raw material for the production of automobiles. Inserted in this context, there is the development of the advanced high strength steels in consonance with the ULSABAVC project, which aims the production of safe, economically viable and efficient in terms of fuel consumption vehicles for the 21st century. The micro-structural characterization of biphasic and multiphase steels was done by the identification and quantification of the coexistent phases. In this item, a special attention was given to the technics that were performed using optic microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. An important contribution to this work was the utilization of different alternative chemical reagents (Beraha, Heat-Tinting technics) in addition to the classical ones (Nital and LePera)already used conventionally by the UNESP's Group of Mechanical, Microstructural and Fractografic Characterization of Materials. The revealed microstructures were correlated with the materials' mechanical properties determined through traction tests, such as ultimate tensile strengths, yield strength and stretching important since the material has structural application in the automotive industry. As a result, it was observed the superiority concerning the studied mechanical properties for the biphasic and multiphasic steels when compared to the conventional carbon steels. Besides, it was perceived a large potential for the industrial scale utilization of the Heat Tinting technics in this field, seen its differentiation of the existent phases and easy reproducibility

A decisive moment of the diffusion of symbolism in Brazil was the year 1893, when were published Missal e Broquéis, first Cruz e Sousa’s symbolist works. It is important to consider the context in that those books appear and the repercussion that they provoked, because this investigation can perhaps helps to understand the reason by which the symbolism had achieved a relatively modest development in Brazil.

Recent bonding systems have been advocated as multi-purpose bonding agents. The aim of this study was to determine if some of these bonding systems could be associated to composite resins from different manufacturers. This investigation was conducted to test lhe shear bond strength of three bonding systems: Scotchbond Multi-Purpose (3M Dental Products), Optibond Light Cure (Kerr) and Optibond Dual Cure (Kerr), when each of them was associated to lhe composite resins: Z1 00 (3M Dental Products), Prisma - APH (Dentsply) and Herculite XRV (Kerr). Seventy-two flat dentin bonding sites were prepared to 600 grit on human premolars mounted using acrilic resins. The teeth were assigned at random to 9 groups of 8 samples each. A split die with a 3mm diameter was placed over lhe surface of lhe dentin treated with one of lhe adhesive systems, and lhe selected composite resin was inserted and light cured. The split mold was removed and all samples were termocycled and stored in 37ºC water for 24 hours before testing. Shear bond strength was determined using an lnstron Universal testing machine. Some failures were examined under lhe S.E.M. Data was analysed by one-way analysis of variance, that demonstrated a significant difference (p<0,05) in the mean shear bond strength among Optibond Light Cure (15,446 MPa), Scotchbond Multi-Purpose (13,339 MPa) and Optibond Dual Cure (10,019 MPa). These values did not depend on the composite resin used. The association between bonding system/composite resin was statistycally significant (p<0,05) and the best results were obtained when the composite resins Z100 and Herculite were used with the adhesive system Optibond Light Cure, and when the composite resin APH was used with the adhesive system Scotchbond Multi-Purpose

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the apical sealing ability and the marginal adaptation of five dental materials used in retrofillings or applied to the bevelled root surface. One hundred and forty extracted single rooted human teeth were used, divided into seven groups of twenty each. ln the first, second, third and fourth groups, the teeth were apicoectomized, submitted to cavity preparations and retrofilled with one of the following materiais: zinc free silver amalgam, a dentin bonding system plus composite resin, a glass ionomer cement ora compomer. In the fifth, sixth and seventh groups, the teeth were apicoectomized and capped on the bevelled root surface with one of the following materiais: a dentin bonding system plus composite resin, a glass ionomer cement or a compomer. Two specimens of each experimental group were evaluated for the marginal adaptation using scanning electron microscopy. The remaining 126 specimens were immersed in 2% methylene blue dye, stored for one week at 37ºC and the infiltration was evaluated with a stereomicroscope. The results showed that the glass ionomer cement presented the lowest values of marginal infiltration when used as retrofilling material, with a significant statistical difference when compared with the others tested materials. When used as apical capping, the glass ionomer cement and the compomer were equivalent and significantly better than the dentin bonding system plus composite resin. Using scanning electron microscopy, all the materials showed some slight adjustment problem. ln the retrofilling, the smallest marginal gaps were observed with the compomer and the dentin bonding system plus composite resin, while the largest were observed with the glass ionomer cement and zinc free silver amalgam. ln the apical capping, the smallest marginal gaps were observed with the compomer and the dentin bonding system plus composite resin and ...
