Estudo da distribuição espacial dos condomínios horizontais fechados e loteamentos fechados na cidade de Rio Claro-SP

In Brazil, the proliferation phenomenon of gated communities and land lots had its origins in big cities, such as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, since 1970. The implementation of these types of intramural housing are done in expanding are as of the city, based on the availability of bigger lots, lower land prices, and the search for are as closer to nature. The gated communities and land lots that, initially, had their architecture only accessible to the higher social classes, as a second home alternative away from urban problems, nowadays they can be reached by other social classes as well. Gated communities and land lots find their way to the center of larger cities, sustained mostly by the speech of real state entrepreneurs, and by its social “status”, a new emerging characteristic of this time period. The expansion of gated communities and land lots also change the cities lands cape and social spatial configuration. This work, therefore, attends the localization of gated communities and land lots spread out in the city of Rio Claro. It analyzes the scale in which the dynamics of the city’s urban expansion influenced the current distribution of these types of housing

Além-muros: repensando a cidade através do desenho urbano

O trabalho do arquiteto urbanista está diretamente ligado às transformações da cidade, atualmente a insegurança urbana é um dos principais fatores de deslocamento dos segmentos médios pela cidade, fazendo com que uma parcela considerável dessa população deixe os loteamentos tradicionais para habitar condomínios verticais e loteamentos horizontais fechados. Normalmente localizados em áreas afastadas do centro da cidade os loteamentos horizontais fechados não ocupam os vazios urbanos, áreas já estruturadas, necessitando de nova infraestrutura e consequentemente investimento não só de seus empreendedores, mas também do poder público. Esse novo modo de vida contemporâneo vem diminuindo a relação de pertencimento das pessoas com a cidade o que acaba sendo um importante índice de contribuição para o aumento da insegurança. Pensando nisso o projeto toma partido do desenho urbano e de seus dispositivos para proporcionar aos moradores e usuários maior sensação de segurança. E assim, através de lotes com proporções adequadas ao segmento, vias propícias e com direcionamento de fluxo, calçadas que incentivem o deslocamento dos pedestres, diversidade de usos e espaços públicos de qualidade proporcionem melhor qualidade de vida. Como futura arquiteta e urbanista busco por meio desse trabalho final de graduação discutir um pouco sobre a cidade contemporânea e proponho um estudo de possíveis alternativas para incentivar a relação das pessoas com o espaço em que vivem

Qualidade da construção civil de estrutura de concreto armado, alvenaria de vedação e revestimento externo de obras verticais

The main purpose of this research is to raise, through lab rehearsals, the geometric properties of some oxisols from the region of Vale do Paraíba as well as comparing them to demands prescribed by Technical Specifications ESP08/05 of the Road Department of the State of Paraná, for sub-base or fine grained lateritic soil base (SAFL) and in the Technical Specification ET-DEP00/006 of the Road Department of the State of São Paulo (DER/SP) for subbase or crushed stone base. According to the results that were obtained it will be feasible to appraise the usage of these sorts of soils in structure layers of low-weight traffic pavements

Relações Públicas nas agências de comunicação: uma análise dos discursos dos mercados

Public Relations is an area of communication that has many definitions given by both professional associations and by many authors. Academic and professional discussions on a precise definition of the area are recurrent. Considering this issue, it was decided to study the relationship between public relations and communications agencies, assuming that this is a market segment that includes the public relations. This paper analyzes the discourses of communication agencies and how the Public Relations are handled by them. For this, it was used theories about the history of public relations as well as definitions and concepts of its main authors. Furthermore, we present the characteristics of communication agencies, the contexts associated with its emergence in Brazil and the future prospects of this market segment in the opinion of the professionals who work in it. The study about the discourses of communications agencies was based on French Discourse Analysis, using books from important authors of the area, such as José Fiorin and Helna Brandão. The discourses analyzed were those present on websites of three communications agencies in the state of Sao Paulo. It was noted that not always the participation of public relations in communication agencies is highlighted, although the services of these agencies are based on techniques and typical functions of Public Relations. Above all, what the discourses are seeking to highlight are the experience and expertise in organizational communication owned by its staff

Considerações sobre o gerenciamento da construção civil em obras residenciais verticais

The civil construction is an industrial sector of great economic importance and that it comes exponentially growing in the country. However, this activity is deficient in its management processes, and in this context that the management of construction as a way of organizing and controlling all the technical and construction of an enterprise. The literature shows that the manager has a key role throughout the process of planning, execution and analysis of the results of the work being of prime importance that all steps have its due attention in order to avoid any technical problems or lack information. The management’s main objective is the transparency of technical and financial information to investors and their assessments of physical and financial performances of the work intervened positively in quality, deadlines and costs. In this sense, this paper aims to present consideration about the proper management of a residential development in vertical construction

Trainer for Kids (T4K), um único aparelho para o tratamento de dois problemas verticais: mordida aberta anterior e mordida profunda

The Trainer for Kids is a prefabricated funcitonal appliance indicated for early treatment of the Class I malocclusion, crowding, anterior open bite, deep bite and oral habits (finger and/or sucking, atypic deglutition, tongue interposition and oral breathing). The aim of this paper is show two case reports treated with the T4K appliance being an anterior open bite and a deep bite.
