Formação da literatura e constituição do Estado nacional

O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir questões literárias e históricas postas em pauta pelo livro Formação da literatura brasileira de Antonio Candido, cuja primeira edição é de 1959. Essa obra – ao reelaborar e procurar superar antigas referências vinculadas às datações e explicações das origens da literatura nacional – apresenta caráter inovador, o que, de um lado, a levou a ser um paradigma fundamental para a história e a crítica literária no país e, de outro lado, provocou muitas polêmicas e objeções. Partindo, portanto, da herança histórico-crítica precedente e incorporando muitos de seus elementos, o crítico repensa os marcos históricos, literários e culturais do surgimento da literatura no Brasil, ou seus momentos decisivos, tendo em vista a noção de sistema literário. Cinquenta anos após a publicação desse estudo, é oportuno e necessário, cremos, rediscutir e redefinir as demarcações histórico-literárias da criação ou da formação da literatura brasileira, por meio de uma leitura diversa do processo de organização do Estado e da nação no Brasil.

Reflexões sobre a formação do leitor mirim: Leitura, Literatura Infantil e Bibliotecas Escolares

This paper seeks to relate issues to the formation of the reader and school routines that directly interfere in the way responsible for the mediation work there included the act of reading, and also reflect on the pedagogical implications arising therefrom. The resumption of data generated in research developed in the years 2007 to 2010 shows that both the classroom as the school library has been constituted as ambiance suitable for training the child reader. Theoretical and methodological concepts related to child development in the act of reading is presented by discussing access to books and children’s literature led to the formation of the child reader, linking them to the old and new reading technologies.

Educação Literária e formação de leitores: da leitura 'em si' para leitura 'para si'

This article deals with the relationship between the reader formation and the teaching of strategies of reading. We based our discussion in reading and childhood literature researchers as: Arena (2007a, 2007b, 2008 and 2010), Bajard (2002), Chiappini (1997), Coelho (2000), Cosson (2007), Foucambert (1994), Harvey & Goudivs (2007), Perroti (1986), Smith (1999), Soares (1999), Solé (2009), Zilberman (2005), and others. We dialogue with some points from the historical-cultural perspective, having a strong focus on a humanitarian literary education in elementary schools.

A leitura promovendo o uso adequado da variação linguística e do letramento

This Work focuses the importance of children‟s literature with the insertion of authors‟ like Aesopo, La Fontaine and Monteiro Lobato in the early years of elementary school, so that children could develop their reading that could bring reflections about the use of the language. It entends to show that books can give kids maturity to notice that when it comes to language there‟s not righ or wrong, but contexts that they should fit, in so that they can communicate and decrease the language prejudice. The authors studied in this study are the ones who study the language, the importance of children‟s literature and language prejudice at schools. This work was done through quantitative and qualitative approach, divided into 2 parts, observation and interventions, the research could be in touch with the observed class and get information about the students. Later the researcher could act by telling stories and get data. A third-grade class in a public school in the year of 2010, was observed during the internship in the early years of elementary school compared to another fourth grade class of another public school. The results and analisis oh the data show kids‟ lack of contact with an appropriate children‟s literature, like the fables which are short tales with moral and romance like Emília no País da Gramática by Monteiro Lobato, would make it difficult to learn the production of consistent texts and appropriate language in different contexts. Schools play an important role for kids to be in touch with these good books, so they should have the main role in the children‟s development and background, making them able to be aware of the importance of reading and writing in their lives. Most of the children found it difficult to write texts, but in the end they reached a god level of language related to the proposed context, writing consistent texts, but the part of children still mistake and in literacy and language adaptation

O uso social da leitura e as práticas pedagógicas em sala de aula: construção de conhecimentos e formação de leitores

This research aimed at studying the social role of reading, its importance in building knowledge and training of readers, as well as reflect on the teaching of reading in schools, with children in the literacy process. For their achievement, were used as theoretical support authors who are dedicated to the study of language, thematic reading, and phenomena that occur through it in the school environment, especially those of Bakhtin, Kleiman, Chartier, Foucambert, among others . The research was carried out using the approach of qualitative research, using participatory action research, through which the researcher could have direct contact with the observed phenomena, to participate and collect the participants' actions in its natural context, the from their perspective and their views. As for collecting and analyzing data, we used the tools of questionnaire, interview and participant observation. Its subjects a literacy class and their respective teacher, in 2009. By analyzing this information, one can draw a picture of reading in the school environment and teaching practices that surround this object. The results of the literature survey and data analysis suggest that reading is a social practice, and as such has indispensable social function in society today. And the school, one of the greatest instruments of contact with the world of letters, therefore, of reading for children means not literate, have key role in developing and training of readers who are aware of the importance of reading and perpetuate this practice in their daily lives. Sobre a questão da autonomia na prática docente com professores e professoras: leitura e diálogo

O estudo busca, num ato comprometido, aproximar-se das questões da autonomia na prática docente a partir do diálogo com autores(as) e com professoras(es) da rede pública de Ensino Básico com vistas no repensar da noção de autonomia na prática docente. Na primeira parte, familiarizo-me com o cenário no qual estamos inseridos: influências da globalização e da política neoliberal sobre as políticas educacionais brasileiras, como nos discursos dos PCNs e os currículos oficiais. Em seguida, dialogo com alguns autores sobre o que se compreende por autonomia e as questões da autonomia na prática docente. Com eles, vou descobrindo afinidades. Na segunda parte, em busca do diálogo com e entre professoras(es), organizei um grupo de discussão por meio de um curso. O Curso de Difusão Cultural - Leituras de Paulo Freire: autonomia e subjetividade - foi um espaço criado no intuito de fomentar o diálogo, a reflexão e a troca de saberes entre professoras(es) e alunas(os) de licenciatura a partir de escritos de Paulo Freire. A escolha dos textos pautou-se no entendimento destes como disparadores de reflexões que pudessem acercar-se do tema em estudo. Cada encontro apresentava uma leitura antecipada na qual sugeri que destacassem trechos a serem compartilhados e discutidos com os demais colegas no encontro seguinte. Durante as leituras, para cada texto, propus que escrevessem algo relacionando os trechos destacados com suas práticas docentes; nomeei esta atividade de produção escrita. Após o término dos encontros, os materiais de registros – gravações em audiovisual, produções escritas e anotações em caderno de registros – foram analisados. Nota-se que, mesmo diante de tantas incoerências de uma política educacional que pouco promove a legitimação de seu discurso, a autonomia na prática docente, como a compreendo neste estudo, não pode ser exclusivamente dada nem... O jazz e a mundialização: processos culturais e consumo musical no século XX

Jazz brings to the surface discussions about globalization and its unfolding. The development of such music style allows a reflection about the processes that influence 20th century culture, thus enabling a closer look into debates that involve cultural industrialization and standardization in such context. Horkheimer‟s and Adorno‟s work deal with this theme, considering culture as something standardized, a result of the process that fits into the industrial production mold. Morin goes further in this discussion, suggesting the emergence of a mass culture as a third culture. Later, Latin-American authors Ortiz and Canclini bring up new tones and approaches to the globalization through culture theme

Aspectos formais da trilha musical de Yasunori Mitsuda para o game Chrono Cross e sua interação com o enredo

This work has the aim of evince compositional tools used in the development of musical scores for role-playing videogames through the analysis of Yasunori Mitsuda’s music for Chrono Cross (1999). This research is divided in two main parts: the first traces a historic path of the RPG genre on videogame consoles, since its birth as a tabletop game in the decade of 1970 until its consolidation on 3D game machines released in the 1990’s. The focus of this historical study concentrates on the aesthetics of this kind of game and on the multiple relations it settles with sound throughout the years. The second part is an analytical work on an assortment of pieces by Mitsuda for the aforementioned game, bringing up the most interesting aspects of the connections established between these compositions and the whole game.

Oficinas de leitura, interpretação e produção textual no ensino fundamental

This paper describes a project called “Development of educational workshops on text reading, interpretation and writing in elementary school”, which took place at the São Paulo State University (UNESP) with financial support given by the PROEX-UNESP (Pro-Rectorate of Extension). This project aimed to organize and run educational workshops on reading, interpreting and writing different genres for students enrolled at a public elementary school in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo state. The analysis of the texts produced by the students unfolded the project into two essential approaches. In the first one, it was possible to identify problems and inaccuracies in language usage, which was the starting point to prepare the minicourses that would be offered. These mini-courses promoted a deep involvement of undergraduate students (in Portuguese Language and Literature) with the practice of Portuguese teaching at the school. In the second one, 5.468 texts, which were produced during the four-year project, founded researches whose goal is to describe processes in which there is a relation between speech and writing, and are based on a theoretical framework that values the multiplicity of literacies associated with social practices experienced by the students. Thus, this extension project aimed to articulate the service to the external community – in this case, public school students - to the internal community – undergraduate students in Portuguese Language and Literature.

A pesca na Amazônia ocidental: tratamento terminológico dos termos fundamentais

Fishing is a very important activity in terms of economic and social development throughout the Amazon region. Text reading this topic revealed the presence of a terminology not yet systematized and record little research and scientific publications on the terminology of this activity. This article aims at analyzing the key terms of fishing. At first, we present a brief history of this activity in Western Amazonia, particularly in Rondônia. The theoretical support was guided by Cabré (1999), with her Communicative Theory of Terminology, Aubert (1996), Barbosa (2002), Barros (2004), Biderman (2006), Babini (2006) and linguists as Baldinger (1966) and Pottier (1974) that reveal the details of linguistic analysis terminology. The creation of an electronic corpus, from texts of technical and documental discourse, theses and websites, composed the first stage of our work. Afterwards, collect the terms and fill the terminological records in our database. The terms were organized into a conceptual system with three notional fields: riverside community, type of fishing, gillnet fishing. Early results show that the set of terms collected is characterized by the strong presence of simple and complex terms, and less compound terms.
