We discuss in the work the importance of experiential activities for Physics Teaching in the first years at Elementary Education. For this we start from the experience provided by the Teaching Project Initiation under Pibid CAPES, linked to the Department of Education from the Institute of Biosciences and activities of the Graduate Diploma in Physics Supervised, at Rio Claro Campus, São Paulo State, in partnership with Basic Education schools of the city. Based on some patterns and studies on the Teaching of Science in Elementary Education and particularly in the Ferreira’s work with Instrumentation for Physics Teaching, Electrostatic was chosen as base theme. We opted for the use of didactic experiments that provided in its construction the utilization of low cost materials, easy access and portability. Teaching strategies were aimed at inserting experiential activities during Elementary School I (first and third years of elementary school), intending to rescue the trial of Physics Education and Science for Basic Education. These experimental teaching activities were analyzed in this paper from the perspective of playfulness. We argue that experimentation with recreational attributes when properly used provides the interaction of individuals with the knowledge of Physical Sciences

During the pregnancy process, the maternal organism commonly undergoes changes. Such changes follow the normal course of pregnancy; however, some maternal or fetal factors can interfere with pregnancy and adversely affect its outcomes, thus triggering what is referred to as high-risk pregnancy, which is responsible for increasing maternal, fetal or newborns’ morbimortality rates1,2. One of the obstetric alternatives for a safe resolution of this pregnancy type is the caesarean section. Nevertheless, an expressive increase in the number of caesarean sections has been observed worldwide, and they are, many times, unnecessarily indicated8. The world Health Organization (WHO) recommends that the total number of caesarean sections in relation to the total number of deliveries performed at health service should be a maximum of 15% 11, a limit that is easily surpassed in various services. In the current context of lexicographical studies, there have been increasing discussions concerning the issue of the relationship between theoretical knowledge of the lexicon and pedagogical practices involved in its teaching. However, in this context, the special lexicon of Portuguese such as neologisms, foreign words, slang and idioms has received little attention from researchers. There are many theoretical studies on each one of these phenomena, but few studies aim at an organization and inclusion of special units in the teaching of Portuguese. For this reason, this article presents a reflection on the teaching of idioms, and, despite the widely held belief that dictionaries are only needed for the teaching of foreign languages, the article suggests the implementation of special dictionaries for the teaching of Portuguese Language in elementary education.

Environmental education (EE), a critical component to face the environmental crisis, must be present in formal education in a continuous, permanent and transversal way. Studies show, however, that EE occurs, often, in a sporadic and discontinuous way, and that it is mainly linked to Sciences.
