The information society is increasingly incorporating the immense volume of content available on the net. Access by electronic devices and the resulting ease of mobility and portability feed discussions on actual capacity of appropriation of this knowledge that circulates through cyberspace. Address and discuss the possibilities of educating across the network, therefore, gains more and more importance. On models of educational quality well developed – as is the case in Finland, for example-, Brazilian education is, year after year, failing in international marathons to achieve below average indexes required. Creates a field of analysis, in which this article arises, in the quest to understand more deeply the opportunity of use of Information and communication technologies (ICT) for a quality education, plunging by cultural issues that fall in the construction of objective conditions offered to students. This is an effort in understanding the historical factors that limit efforts to offering a quality education in Brazil.

Sexualidade e infância: contribuições da educação sexual em face da erotização da criança em veículos midiáticos

This article proposes to show the contributions of the sex education in the school as a way to mitigate the effects of the media, which sometimes leads to early sexualisation of children. Bibliographical in nature, it points out some aspects of sexuality in childhood, and reveals the issues brought by the media, particularly for the formation of the child, when addressing sexual issues, highlighting the role of sex education for a more reflective thinking about this theme.

Políticas educacionais e mídia no Brasil: apontamentos sobre o quadro atual

This paper describes some of the key political strategies focused on the relationship between the school and the media in the country. Stand out actions taken by the media in its relationship with the formal education, the proposals on the subject found in the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN), the guidelines found in documents on school management, and some of the concrete initiatives undertaken by the government agencies. The framework allows us to observe the distance between the initiatives managed within the school field (involving curriculum programs, programs management and the action of the government agencies linked to field of formal education) and external proposals outside that field.

Mídia: material didático ou instrumento manipulador? : o que dizem os estudos?

Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender a mídia e o universo didáticopedagógico, e assim como o uso dos meios midiáticos podem contribuir frente a aprendizagem . A pesquisa mostra esse novo aluno, como também esse novo professor, e quais os desafios que ambos passam por usarem os meios de comunicação, em especialmente a tecnologia. Para tanto foi realizada uma pesquisa documental, e diversos autores dialogaram entre si diante do tema apresentado. O estudo pautou-se pela abordagem qualitativa, fundamentada a partir de alguns autores. A pesquisa mostrou que com o avanço tecnológico os jovens se interessaram mais com os estudos, já que a informação ficou cada vez mais rápida, contudo mostrou também que alguns professores têm certo tipo de receio de usar outros materiais didáticos além do tradicional. O estudo também mostrou que apesar dos benefícios que a mídia traz, o importante é estarmos atentos já que tem-se um excesso de informações, e precisamos selecionar uma informação boa de uma ruim

Comparar a influência nas capacidades funcionais e nível de atividade física de dois tipos de aula de educação física em adolescentes do ensino médio do municipio de Rio Claro-SP

Regular physical activity can prevent and treat various diseases and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity and cardiovascular disease. However, the prevalence of physical inactivity among adolescents in Rio Claro is 83%. Thus, it is necessary to encourage physical atividade through the community, especially parents and schools. The objective was to investigate the influence of two types of gym class in functional abilities in high school students in the city of Rio Claro-SP. Methodology: The study included 20 students from high school, 8 boys and 12 girls. The study took place in two high school halls of a public school in the city of Rio Claro. With the collaboration and participation in only 10 students in each room search reviews of all students occurred in mid-July in the year 2012 with the completion of the battery of tests and application of PAQ-C questionnaire at the beginning of classes of and after three months. All students were subjected to the test battery Eurofit. To compare the values of physical fitness for each type of class was held factorial ANOVA for repeated measures using SPSS and the level of physical activity was performed the Wilcoxon test. To compare the delta values (post-test-time time pre test every physical fitness) we performed the t test for all analyzes was adopted p <0.05 Classes G1 followed the schedule proposed by the state 's Notebook, where he worked subjects as body and beauty and its relationship with the media today, prevailing more conceptual classes than procedural . Unlike what has been developed with the G2 who had classes were focused on physical fitness and physical conditioning to increase the level of physical activity inside and outside the school environment . Modelo de aplicação interativa para middleware Ginga de Televisão Digital: ambiente virtual de aprendizagem para Educação a Distância

O desenvolvimento de um modelo de aplicação interativa para Televisão Digital sobre a plataforma do middleware Ginga, do SBTVD, ainda em processo, é o tema deste artigo. A referida aplicação se traduz em um Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem, para Educação a Distância, aplicativo destinado a acesso on demand, fora da grade de programação síncrona da emissora, em TV Digital dotada de set top box, ou conversor digital, embarcado com Ginga NCL. A metodologia utilizada na construção deste produto da pesquisa de Mestrado (que também abrange uma monografia na área de Comunicação) integra três metodologias: um modelo de Design Instrucional (ou Educacional) adequado aos recursos da TV Digital; técnicas de Usabilidade e Arquitetura da Informação para a construção de um protótipo interativo; e um modelo de Desenvolvimento de Software de ciclo de vida ágil baseado em Prototipagem Evolutiva, a fim de se gerar um modelo de aplicação interativa para criação de conteúdos instrucionais focados em EaD através da mídia TV Digital.

O desejo e a indústria cultural no processo de subjetivação: diálogo sobre o corpo na educação física escolar

We analyzed the Cultural Industry and impositions for manners of production of capitalism in subjectivity, exposing the subject to alienated fragility. Because, the consumption doesn't just refer to the contemplation of images for subjects, but also about identification that subjects can have about images. The contemporary society is composed in individualist adoration by self, demanding pledge and self-control to reach the wanted body and idealized spread by media, disseminating idea of corporal pattern. So, we understood that the school physical education, being the field of knowledge of cultural corporal, has as function, also, to act as intercessor in relationship with media, above all when worked with pertinent subjects to corporeality contributing so that student, through exercise of critic, transform the society. Therefore, the educators need to extrapolate hesitation front media and make critical use of formative and informative possibilities, on consumption and impact on the body.

Modern society is characterized by the advance of technologies, the emergence and constant development of the technological field is responsible for a series of population adjustments, that being practically molded and daily transformed by media, which usually has the power of manipulating opinions and public approaches in every capacity and extensions of our lives, being a significantly and important tool, which most part of individuals in contemporary society can't work and live without, therefore most part of individuals depend on the use of many technological means, including social means, which have great relationship with the development and emergence of many psychological problems that completely impact on the social life of affected individuals, thus Physical Education is an area with the goal of verifying the level of influence that media reflects on the lifestyle choice to be followed and the relation of this influence with the presence and development of a series of psychological disorders that affect directly the health of those individuals.
