In the contemporary society, the recurring preoccupation about the effective use and appropriation of information has forced a progressive maturing of Information Science and its extention to new fields of study. In archival management, some gaps can be found concerning the treatment of photographs that have not been solved either theoretically or methodologically. This study approaches one of these gaps: the one related to the processing of the informational content of the photographic documents in archives. After a literature review, several recommendations are proposed regarding the identification, organization, representation, retrieval and access to the informational content of photographs in archives.

Greimas Semiotic offers procedures for the analysis of different types of texts and discourses. For this reason, this study aimed to analyze the production of sense from scientific discourse, explained by Greimas Semiotics and Generative Sense Course, seeking to develop a new perspective on the identification of aboutness in Documentary Content Analysis and Information Science. The method used was exploratory and bibliographic review. Results show that the analysis of scientific discourse contributes to the identification of aboutness in Documentary Content Analysis, using Greimas Semiotics and Generative Sense Course.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Resources have proven to be helpful in the insertion of students with disabilities and complex communication needs into a variety of pedagogical activities and expand the skills and competencies of the teacher in the teaching-learning. The objective of this research was to identify the perception of teachers regarding the use of augmentative and alternative communication during an intervention program in Preschool. Participants were a special class of Preschool students with disabilities and severe communication complexity, along with their teacher and the researcher. For the development of this research, a Alternative Communication Program was applied. The teacher was provided with systematic guidance concerning language and communication. In a collaborative process, three children’s songs were selected according to the teacher’s pedagogical planning and adapted resources through Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems. During the intervention program, assisted evaluations also took place immediately after the activities with the music. The data were collected in audio recordings. For data analysis, content analysis was carried out resulting in the outlining of themes and subthemes. Results indicated that the teacher identified that Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems can to facilitate expression abilities of students with disabilities; that Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems can be used by children in Preschool; and that resources adapted through augmentative and alternative communication systems should be in accordance with the specificities of students.

The school library is a preferential placefor the contact of students with various informationresources and action of librarians and teachers, likemediators in order to enhance this experience. Thecollaborative relationship between this mediators isessential for planning and implementing activitiesfor learning. This article discusses some aspects ofcollaborative work between teachers and librarianand presents the results of applying a model ofcollaboration with the two librarians in Marília-SP, Brazil. Data collection was conducted withlibrarians from two schools, through interviews.The analysis was performed using the technique ofcontent analysis from four models of collaboration.It is noticed that the models are applicable tothe brazilian context and that there is a model ofcooperation prevailing in the participating schools.KEYWORDS: School library. To contribute to formation of Childhood Education teachers for the Inclusive Education, this article had as its central objective describe how it was addressed the issue of learning difficulties and the impact of misdiagnosis assigned to a child in the initial phase formal learning of writing, in one of the theoretical-reflective meetings undertaken with 43 teachers for Pre II, of the ten schools of Childhood Education of the state of São Paulo. Such a description was guided through the of the collaborative approach taken subproject “understanding about the clinical diagnosis of dyslexia and its impact on the educational future of children enrolled in classes II Pre Childhood education”, developed as one of the phases and as part of larger project called “depathologization of the learning of the writing and Inclusive Education: Reflections and actions of the professor of Childhood Education”. At the and, was possible the identification by the reports arising from the participation of teachers mentioned, the need to resignification their didactical experiences for the systematization of new actions aimed at coping with learning difficulties that pervade the process of appropriation writing of the students, which may contribute to depathologization of the school environment to the extent that teachers can assist students in building a more positive relationship with writing, rather than adopting rigid and restricted procedures that do not consider the relationship of each subject with writing and the singularities present in this relationship.

Recentemente, foram lançados no mercado odontológico novos materiais estéticos para restaurações diretas em dentes posteriores, aos quais são atribuídas propriedades mais adequadas para essa indicação. Entretanto, as informações disponíveis são ainda muito escassas, gerando dúvidas quanto à sua real eficácia, sobre quais as diferenças de suas composições e propriedades físicas e mecânicas em relação aos materiais até então disponíveis e se, de fato, apresentam melhor performance clínica. Em vista do exposto, nos propusemos a estudar contração de polimerização, resistência à flexão e concentração de partículas inorgânicas, por massa e volume, de sete resinas compostas (Alert, Ariston, Solitaire, Definite, Filtek P60, Z-100 e Tetric Ceram). A contração de polimerização foi medida nos materiais inseridos em um anel plástico, e o registro das alterações, durante a polimerização, foi feito por meio de instrumento eletrônico de medida linear, que registra as alterações dimensionais, com sensibilidade de 1 mm. A resistência à flexão foi medida na máquina de ensaios mecânicos MTS 810 e a confecção dos corpos-de-prova e dos dispositivos para o ensaio foi orientada pela norma ISO no 4049:1988. A determinação do conteúdo de partículas inorgânicas por massa foi feita através da pesagem de uma porção de resina composta polimerizada antes e após a eliminação da fase orgânica em forno, à temperatura de 700oC. O porcentual volumétrico de partículas inorgânicas foi calculado com base no Princípio de Arquimedes. Foi determinado o volume da resina composta polimerizada, antes e após a eliminação da fase orgânica, pela diferença da massa do material pesado ao ar e imerso em água. Considering the context that integrates the internet and the information, the present paper has aimed to analyze the content from the juridical portal named Migalhas, more specifically the daily information–newsletter that is sent to its readers. Starting by the passage on the pathway of the internet, cyber culture and web journalism, and some concepts of news production, it is aimed to describe and evaluate, from the content of the proposed analyzes by Laurence Bardin, about general aspects, strategies and bulletin samples. Bringing a little of its history and description of the journalistic and news main points. The present paper approaches how these criteria, news value, and tools are chosen and used to reach the effectiveness of the proposal to take specific and fast information to the readers. Questions regarded to the opinionated character from the content were also stated as a way to evaluate its expressiveness

In this research we set out to understand the Ethnomathematics Program such as it is said by some authors of Mathematics Education. To this end we conducted an exploratory study. The objective of to study this program is to analyze its contribution to understanding of the content of mathematics in the school environment. The authors studied are Ubiratan D'Ambrosio, considered the precursor of the Ethnomathematics Program and researchers as Paulus Gerdes, Maria do Carmo Santos Domite, Eduardo Sebastiani Ferreira and Gelsa Knijnik, that develop research in Ethnomathematics and may contribute to the comprehension of what in the study we intend to do. Although recourse to authors of Education and Education Philosophy as Maria Aparecida Viggiani Bicudo and Joel Martins to intend the idea of curriculum and its importance in the school environment. The study carried showed that the Ethnomathematics Program goes beyond of to explicit the mathematical knowledge produced by cultural groups, transcending the description of procedures that reveal the construction of knowledge hitch to school subjects. That is, the program seeks the valuing the human being, concerning itself with the construction of a worthy citizen and able to relate with their natural environment, social and intellectual

This work aims to situate the main conceptual aspects of regional and local media and draw a brief overview of current trends in online journalism, especially practiced by TV TEM, an affiliate of Rede Globo in São Paulo. The methodology of the study is based on literature and documents, as well as systematic analysis of G1 portals, TV HAS administered by the regional districts of Bauru, Itapetininga, São José do Rio Preto and Sorocaba. Data were collected through interviews with managers, editors, reporters and some interns. We are included in a society where the use of the Internet became very important to our everyday life. The relationships nowadays usually happen through technological devices instead of face to face contact, for instance, Internet forums where people can discuss online. However, the global analysis is a big challenge, due to the large amount of data. This work investigates the use of visual representations to support an exploratory analysis of contents in messages from discussions forums. This analysis considers the thematic and the chronology. The target forums refer to the educational area and the analysis happens manually, i.e. by direct reading message-by-message. The proprieties of perception and cognition of the human visual system allow a person the capacity to conduct high-level tasks in information extraction from a graphical or visual representation of data. Therefore, this work was based on Visual Analytics, an area that aims create techniques that amplify these human abilities. For that reason we used software that creates a visualization of data from a forum. This software allows a forum content analysis. But, during the work, we identified the necessity to create a new tool to clean the data, because the data had a lot of unnecessary information. After cleaning the data we created a new visualization and held an analysis seeking a new knowledge. In the end we compared the new visualization with the manual analysis that had been made. Analyzing the results, it was evident the potential of visualization use, it provides a better correlation between the information, enabling the acquisition of new knowledge that was not identified in the initial analysis, providing a better use of the forum content

The screen work seeks to illustrate the experiential marketing strategies, relating these concepts within the automotive industry. From the methodology of content analysis, success stories of the automotive industry have been analyzed in the light of experimental marketing theories to elucidate the strategies of organizations with their target audience. The objectives aimed at understanding and studying experiential marketing within the market scenario, identify its main characteristics and applicability. The main results stand out that sensory experiences provided by experiential marketing can be the differentiating factors between organizations, especially, those of the automotive sector
