This article makes a historiography discussion about slavery, indicates the advances in combats for an afro-brasilian history and, in view of cultural re-sense shows a need to consider the students prior knowledge and content of teaching History. These knowledges are essential to move beyond the denunciation of the violence of slavery and lead to the classroom buildings of the recent historiography on slavery in Brazil in view of breaking of stereotypes and changing attitudes.

The aim of this paper is to characterize and discuss the School Physical Education as a profession and subarea of research in the broader academic fi eld of Physical Education and educational research. To do that, it initially defi nes the difference between research in School Physical Education from research about School Physical Education, and point out the themes and research hypotheses for this subarea. It also analyses 289 articles characterized as research in School Physical Education, published in 11 Brazilian periodicals, classifying them in the following categories: level of schooling, bodily practice and theme. The results indicate that the majority of studies are carried out in elementary school, in games and sports, and in descriptive and interpretative research in School Physical Education practices in several dimensions and interrelations. In conclusion, it points to the need to a focus in the research in teaching, the implementation of public curricula, and teacher education. Finally, it alerts to the need for Brazilian postgraduate programs in the academic fi eld of physical education to invest more in research in School Physical Education subarea.

Over the past four decades it occurred a great expansion of science education research in Brazil (TEIXEIRA, 2008). Considering the scientific production in the area, descriptive studies, called state of the art are necessary, but little found in Brazilian scientific literature, especially in the field of science education. In this context, this paper identifies and describes the main features and trends of Brazilian research in the field of education in science museums, released in the form of dissertations and thesis, in the period 1970 to 2010. It is a qualitative and quantitative research, which performs a document analysis, in a bibliographical review. We mapped 153 academic researches, mainly in the Rio-So Paulo axis, mostly in the last decade, showing that the area can be characterized as an emerging field in science education.

Historiography shows that the historical moment is inscribed in the culture of every time and place. Thus, it allows us to identify within the different modes of cultural production - therefore in the literature of a particular time, our research object - expressions of historical aspects. Furthermore, it is important that we know our own history, so that such knowledge help us to learn how to build, individually and collectively, more equitable societies. The objective of this bibliographic research nature was to identify historical aspects of the nineteenth century Brazilian education printed in O Ateneu (The Athenaeum), written in 1888 by Raul Pompia. We sought for narrative passages that could reveal usual educational practices in the time context of our work in order to better understand a historical period that contributed to the establishment of our current education

Nesta pesquisa apresentamos resultados de nossas anlises das concepes de corpo e movimento presentes na experincia do Grupo Dzi Croquettes, Brasil, dcada de 1970. Ao estudar esta experincia perguntamos o que podemos compreender sobre o funcionamento de dispositivos de poder que operam na captura da capacidade de criao, bem como, o que podemos inventar como formas de resistncia no contexto do capitalismo neoliberal. Delimitamos nosso objeto de estudo na experincia artstica do Grupo Dzi Croquettes para analisar as implicaes entre poltica e corpo, identificando a um territrio estabelecido pelas fronteiras entre o desejo e o poder. Estudamos as relaes entre corpo e cultura apoiados na hiptese de que os processos de subjetivao esto implicados, de um modo mais intenso, nos processos educacionais na sociedade contempornea, e que ambos se produzem na materialidade da cultura. Atravs da cartografia desenhamos os territrios existenciais emergentes na experincia artstica delimitada, em um contexto especfico da sociedade brasileira, para ampliarmos nossas reflexes e compreendermos os dispositivos de captura e de controle impostos sobre ns. Apoiamos nossas anlises em categorias estabelecidas a partir do pensamento de Nietzsche, bem como das elaboraes de Michel Foucault sobre biopoltica e biopoder
