Relações entre o perfil comunicativo de crianças com síndrome de Asperger e estratégias de professores

The aim of this research was to investigate the communicative profile of children with Asperger syndrome and the communicative resources used by teachers during interaction with these students in regular education. Five children, from 5 to 8-year-old-male, with Asperger syndrome and their teachers participated in the study. Their school grade ranged from pre-school to second grade elementary school. The characterization of the sample was obtained from an Informative Form and the Scale for the Assessment of Autistic Behavior. The communicative profile of the children and the resources used by their teachers were analyzed from the recorded footage. The results have showed that the teachers prompted the communication more often than the students with Asperger Syndrome and that the resources used by them were: 1 - concrete object, 2 - gesture, 3 - writing; 4-verbalization.

Análise da relação entre a habilidade de integração visuo-motora e o desempenho escolar

Visual-motor integration is a skill that involves visual perception and eye-hand coordination. Deficit in perceptual ability and motor organization capacity may reflect in reading, writing and arithmetic learning difficulties. This study aimed to verify the relationship between visual-motor integration ability and academic performance, as well, whether visual perception ability was correlated with reading performance and whether motor coordination ability was correlated with writing performance. Participants were 77 students in the 2nd. year of elementary education at a public school. To data collect were applied the Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration and the Academic Performance Test. The results showed a significant correlation between visual-motor integration ability and academic skills of reading (r = 0.230, p = 0.044), writing (r = 0.244, p = 0.033) and arithmetic (r = 0.277, p = 0.015). In addition, was also identified significant correlation between visual perception and reading performance (r = 0.407, p = 0) and between the motor coordination and cursive writing (p = 0.039). The results of this study are consistent with the literature, concerning the verification of visual-motor integration, visual perception and motor coordination abilities influence on the students performance in school activities.

Hiperatividade: o que acontece na sala de aula?

Hyperactivity has been frequently discussed, researched and monitored, but it is important to investigate the student, the interrelationships that exist in the classroom and everything that happens in that context, what are the difficulties, facilities and behaviors. The intention of this work contribute to the education, seeking answers to the questions about hyperactivity and what happens in the classroom, or that was the object of study: classroom and its dynamics. This is a field study aimed to analyze the educational aspects and inter-personal relationship student-student and studentteacher in an inclusive classroom where there is a student with hyperactivity properly diagnosed. It was proposed to draw a profile of the hyperactive student, since it constitutes a case study. The research subject was a student of 3rd year of elementary school to public school, clinically diagnosed as hyperactive and who is backed by family, school and doctor. For data collection was developed an observation protocol, completed daily. The student was observed for two months on alternate days and times, totaling 18 classes. Interviews were conducted with the teacher and the student's mother in order to profile the student participant. After compiling the data, we can find the answers of the questions that motivated this research, it is possible to identify the unpreparedness of teachers to deal with hyperactive students in the classroom, the spread of behaviors, considering many students as hyperactive, but no diagnosis; need to adapt the content, but properly and not just recreational; lack of dialogue between school and family

Simplificação de malhas visando representações em multirresolução

The representation of real objects in virtual environments has applications in many areas, such as cartography, mixed reality and reverse engineering. The generation of these objects can be performed through two ways: manually, with CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools, or automatically, by means of surface reconstruction techniques. The simpler the 3D model, the easier it is to process and store it. However, this methods can generate very detailed virtual elements, that can result in some problems when processing the resulting mesh, because it has a lot of edges and polygons that have to be checked at visualization. Considering this context, it can be applied simplification algorithms to eliminate polygons from resulting mesh, without change its topology, generating a lighter mesh with less irrelevant details. The project aimed the study, implementation and comparative tests of simplification algorithms applied to meshes generated through a reconstruction pipeline based on point clouds. This work proposes the realization of the simplification step, like a complement to the pipeline developed by (ONO et al., 2012), that developed reconstruction through cloud points obtained by Microsoft Kinect, and then using Poisson algorithm

Cultura, educação e subjetividade: um estudo sobre o ENEM - Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio

This research attempts to analyze the relationship between the National Secondary Education Examination and the design of teaching, specifically in the way of defining what should be taught, in the present National Curriculum identifying clues that help us in the explanation of a conception of teaching and making the confrontation between the evaluation device in this ENEM. We intend to identify, even if there is consistency between what is taught and what is learned in schools, whether it public or private, and it evaluates the evidence as ENEM. This work is part of the Bachelor's Degree in Education Full theme is a critical analysis of the evaluation system ENEM regarding their school pedagogical practices. From the beginning of the century, with the advent of the flex fuel car, successor fluctuations in oil prices and the rise of awareness of the impending shortage of fossil fuels, the alcohol sector begins to reappear in the panorama of national economy making Brasill reaches the point of becoming a leading exporter of this product. Ethanol assumed the role of such importance in Brazilian exports, which Petrobras through the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) has made investments in the Brazilian pipeline network to better ensure the production of ethanol to major ports. The means of transport in pipelines are safe and inexpensive, but require careful evaluation in its implementation, they may lead to negative social and environmental impacts. Thus, the purpose of this project is to propose the best route for an ethanol pipeline connectin the Tietê-Paraná, leaving the municipality of Santa Maria da Serra (SP), to the Planalto Paulista Refinery (REPLAN), located in Paulinia (SP), belonging to the passage of ethanol export corridor, currently under revelopment. The technique used for the development of the stroke is the association of multicriteria evaluation, the geographical information system (SIG) and geotechnologies. Estados emocionais em professores recém-formados: análise contextual

In general, the early career is a period marked by crises. Hubermam (1992) points out that this period is considered by the teacher as one of life's most difficult professional teaching. According to Machado (2004), the physical education worked only in competitive perspective in school, does not contribute to the school to perform its social role. This approach encourages the use of stigmas, labels and prejudices, so common in school, that marginalize even more students from lower classes, and can make the sport of high performance within the school walls create students with low self-esteem and low motivation within other possible disorders . Thus, this study presents the fundamental importance to aid and support to novice teachers, so that they can understand, and address key emotional aspects that interfere in their practice. Thus, our aim was to identify the most recurrent emotional processes in novice teachers identify and also how these emotional states can influence the professional and personal attitudes of these teachers. Through a bibliographic we seek statements, reports and case studies that provide enough material to our analysis and interpretation in order to collaborate with the study area and proceed to proposals that are not unreasonable or tied to the current system. Among the emotional states reported in the literature, we highlight the main, more present and influent in the beginner teacher as listed as follow: Anxiety, Stress, Fear, Shame, Low Self Confidence and Motivation. Considering these states, Damasio (1996) reports that the United Emotional directly influenced the style and efficiency of cognitive processes, in other words, interfere with the performance of teachers in the teaching front. Utilização de técnicas de geoprocessamento para monitoramento de atividades de mineração ao longo de dutos: poliduto Rio de Janeiro/Minas Gerais

The transportation of oil through polyducts implies a concern related to safety and environmental impacts they may cause, especially when exposed to risks that affect their integrity. Among the various anthropogenic activities included in this scenario, mining can aggravate, increase the risks and degrade the environment. Since these polyducts go through significant extensions, remote sensing has great applicability as a tool for data acquisition. For this, change detection techniques were used to monitor mining activities in a defined study area in the state of Rio de Janeiro, along the duct ORBEL. The characterization of the study area and the mining activities were developed through bibliographical data. The satellite images processing and the application of change detection technique were performed in two scenes for the years 2002 and 2010. The growth in the mining area was about 6.67 times and it was possible to identify types of extraction involved which can represent direct risks to the pipeline

Contribuições da leitura e escrita para a aprendizagem da matemática com textos de diferentes contextos

This work aims describe, through a phenomenological approach to qualitative research, which are the contributions of reading and writing of texts from different contexts for learning mathematics. For this purpose, we developed activities involving reading, writing and math in classes in the 6th grade of elementary school to a state school Guaratinguetá. These activities constituted the research data as part of the fieldwork. We analyzed the data following the procedures of this phenomenological research which they are described by Bicudo (1994, 2000, 2011), Fini (1994) and Machado (1994). We base our study on reading, writing and mathematics in Nacarato (2009), Lopes (2009), Smole (2000) and Fonseca (2005), among others. In the analysis, we seek to clarify how meaningful situations of different contexts, helping to develop skills in reading, writing and interpretation of the student, which in turn help the students at understanding mathematics. After the analysis of data, we named the two open categories: Difficulty of Expression and Communication Facilities. The interpretation of categories allows us to understand that there is, by individuals, a communicative intention that is expressed in the texts

Diretrizes para execução dos estudos geológico-geotécnicos e ambientais voltados à implantação de dutovias

Due to the new discoveries of oil and gas reservoirs, and also the increasing production of bio-fuels, the brazilian general pipeline system is being vertiginously extended. On the other hand, there is a lack of clear parameters that would allow a better utilization of the geological-geotechnical studies in the process of environmental licensing of pipeline systems. Therefore, this paper presents guidelines that would orientate the environmental licensing procedures to build pipeline systems, and also the geological-geotechnical studies that would support the characterization of the physical context. The method applied in this study consisted in the existing data survey and in their organization, analysis and review. In doing so, there is a well-subsidy integration of the many steps of the pipeline system implementation, the required environmental licenses and the investigation methods of the correlated physical context. As a result, it’s presented a flowchart of the guidelines, detailing the interaction between the environmental licensing, the geological-geotechnical studies and the phases of the pipeline’s project.
