Reformismo social em John R. Commons

This research aims to discuss aspects of the thought of John R. Commons regarding their engagement with the reform of capitalism. He focuses on his interpretation of the socioeconomic context of American capitalism, which led him to distance himself from the Marxist revolutionary praxis and the authoritarian reformism offered by the variant of European fascism. Based on extensive literature review, the research rebuild through a historical and theoretical context, his thinking and show the evolution of his ideas throughout his life. Recreating the terms in which Commons defended his reformist project, called him reasonable capitalism.

Educação comunitária para a participação na gestão democrática de orgainzação não governamental/Ong

This study examined an example of community education of citizens that aimed to encourage their participation in democratic management of a non-governmental organization (NGO). The research problems were based on the NGO perspective and the ideas of community education and democratic management that guides the education of citizens to participate in the management of this organization. This issue has been studied under the perspective of educators and managers of NGO who performed the work focused on this study. We opted for a qualitative approach with a review of academic literature, questionnaires and individual and group interviews. The results indicated that the perspective of NGO adopted is used in Brazil. These organizations have low politicization and minimize conflicts between social groups. This approach seemed to contradict the prospect of democratic management that encouraged the struggle for rights and engagement in the management of the NGO and public spaces. The contradictions between the approaches of NFO and democratic management probably influenced the adoption of two conceptions of community education. One is dedicated to promoting self-help community to solve their social and economic problems and other inspired by Paulo Freire, which encourages popular mobilization for the questioning of capitalist social organization.

Currently with the context of the Internet, especially on online social networks, it is observed that people and companies are establishing relationships both online and offline. The new digital culture and the competitiveness of the market are making companies change the way they communicate with their customers, providing a broader and more participative communication with their stakeholders. This resear chaims to understand the relation of corporate communication and Public Relations and from the conceptualization of the trials will detect the relationship processes of companies and their public in online social networks. Understand this type of relation ship is interesting because that, it is the field of the Public Relations professional. An area that grows in importance in today's market, since Facebook is being used as a channel of communication and relationship with consumers. The methodology used is exploratory research, in which, it aims to familiarize themselves with the subject and the possibility of analyzing three examples of relationships and engagement in the corporate communications field. In this case, the ranking of the top three companies, Coca-Cola, Guaraná Antarctica e Mc Donald's, in the Top Facebook Posts Brazil in January 2015. It is important that to have a Public Relations Professional that is able to create an open channel of communication on social networks with the purpose of detecting the characteristics of the target public and promote the participation of such public in the building of content and the innovative organization process. The autism is a severe mental illness that involves psychological, social, educational and neurobiological aspects. The Education plays an important role in recovering, preserving and increasing the cognitive task of people with autism. There are several ways to observe a person with autism. Through the studying of cases, it is also possible to address issues of everyday life of the person with the illness, its cognitive issues and its obstacles of psychosocial involvement, as well as psychological aspects such as illness acknowledgement. Through specialized literature, it is possible to identify characteristics referring to the learning process and neurobiological components involved in the condition, such as brain activity disorder and genetic factors. The objectives of this paper are: from the analysis of two books: Unique World: comprehend the Autism (SILVA, A. B. B; GAIATO, M.B; REVELES, L.T) and The cats never lie about love (DILLON, J.), it is intended to describe cognitive and psychosocial aspects of the autism. Based on the specialized literature, the goal is to identify cognitive and neurobiological components in the illness. The methods that were used: analysis of the books Unique World: comprehend the Autism and The cats never lie about love to describe psychosocial and educational aspects of the autism; analysis of the specialized literature to identify clinical and neurobiological components of the illness, such as changes in brain activity, genetic factors or clinical evolution; and also details of the Education role in preserving the person with autism and his cognitive and emotional development. The study had the documentary research as reference for the methodological design, including book analysis and research in specialized literature. It is intended to deepen discussions about the Education roles related to the cognitive and neurobiological aspects of the autism

Tratamento de um papagaio-verdadeiro (Amazona aestiva) com síndrome do arrancamento de penas usando a técnica de vínculo social e a correção nutricional: relato de caso

The blue-fronted parrot (Amazona aestiva) belongs to the order Psittaciformes and family Pscittacidae. It is widely held as a pet because of its peculiar characteristics. The owners of such animals, however, frequently report behavioral problems. The absence of proper environmental stimuli generated by confinement and lack of social engagement can predispose these animals to characteristic behaviors related to stress, which can be manifested as a feather plucking syndrome. The present study reports the case of a blue-fronted Amazon parrot with a two-year history of feather plucking. The psychosomatic disease was halted once the animal created an emotional bond with a human being. This finding reinforces the social nature of this species and raises questions about the welfare of captive birds of this order.
