Motivação para a prática de atividades físicas de aventura

A psicologia do esporte se constitui como uma vasta área, tanto de atuação profissional como de produção de conhecimento. Sua importância se dá no sentido de preparar o praticante de atividade física psicologicamente para que, diante de momentos decisivos, apresente um rendimento ótimo e preparo para lidar com as situações que a modalidade exprime. Em todo nível de atividade física ou esporte deve haver um motivo que leve o indivíduo a optar por determinada prática esportiva. A motivação é caracterizada como um processo ativo, intencional e dirigido a uma meta, o qual depende de fatores pessoais (intrínsecos) e ambientais (extrínsecos). Ela denota os fatores e processos que levam as pessoas a uma ação ou inércia em diversas situações. As Atividades Físicas de Aventura vêm ganhando adeptos, despertando o interesse e a curiosidade de muitas pessoas. Diversos são os motivos que acarretam na prática das Atividades Físicas de Aventura. Diante disso, torna-se relevante identificar as razões pelas quais mais e mais pessoas procuram as Atividades Físicas de Aventura como prática de atividade física. Embasado em um estudo qualitativo, buscou-se, por meio de uma extensa revisão de literatura, elencar os principais motivos que fomentam a prática das Atividades Físicas de Aventura. Espera-se que o presente estudo possa contribuir para o melhor entendimento da razão pela qual as pessoas optam por praticar Atividades Físicas de Aventura. Diversos estudos sugerem que a escolha por tais atividades pode ser traduzida pelo desejo de aproximação maior e mais intensa com o meio natural. As pessoas procuram o contato mais substancial e constante com o ambiente natural, não somente no intuito de beneficiar a saúde, mas, inclusive, para promover atitudes que beneficiem a preservação do ambiente, sendo este um fator essencial no equilíbrio existencial das espécies. Comportamento antecipatório baseado em registros sobre regularidades passadas

A antecipação constitui uma capacidade de extrema importância à evolução dos vertebrados, pois, ao permitir a geração de previsões e a orientação atencional para estímulos pendentes, possibilitou interpretações mais refinadas do meio, além de uma preparação para a ocorrência de estímulos críticos, aumentando as chances de sobrevivência daqueles que a possuem. O presente trabalho visou avaliar a habilidade de gerar comportamento antecipatório, por meio do teste de extrapolação a partir de padrões seriais de estímulos. Ratos da linhagem Wistar, machos, foram treinados a correr em uma pista reta, ao longo de 22 dias, para obter reforço ao final de cada uma de 4 tentativas sucessivas. Os sujeitos, organizados em dois grupos, foram expostos a uma sequência de quantidades de reforço envolvendo 14, 7, 3 e 1 sementes de girassol (Grupo Monotônico) ou 14, 3, 7 e 1 sementes de girassol (Grupo Não-Monotônico). No 23° dia do experimento uma quinta tentativa, nunca experienciada antes, portanto cuja quantidade de sementes não era conhecida, mas passível de extrapolação a partir do padrão serial, foi adicionada à sessão. Os resultados mostraram que os animais expostos ao padrão monotônico exibiram, na quinta tentativa, substancial aumento do tempo de corrida, como se esperassem uma quantidade de sementes menor do que a experimentada na tentativa anterior. Em contraste, os animais expostos ao padrão não-monotônico exibiram, na quinta tentativa, tempos de corrida relativamente baixos, indicando que esses animais geraram uma expectativa de obtenção de maior quantidade de sementes em relação à tentativa anterior. Society's change of parameters for health and aesthetics has resulted in an increased demand for dental treatments. Nowadays, ceramics systems have shown a substantial development, becoming more reliable and predictable. Dental ceramics, besides being chemically stable, present excellent optical properties when compared to dental structures, thus assuring a special position in the list of aesthetic restorative materials. OBJECTIVE, CASE REPORT AND CONCLUSION: This article describes a successful clinical procedure involving the anterior teeth aesthetics, which were restored with all-ceramic crowns (IPS e.max® Ivoclar Vivadent).

Indústria de base: um olhar humano sobre a formação do jogador de futebol

O presente trabalho busca trazer um olhar mais humano para a formação de jovens jogadores de futebol. A carreira é uma das mais almejadas pelas crianças em um país onde a educação primária ainda é deficitária. Soma-se isso à cultura enraizada na parte massiva da população de que estudar não é substancial. Deslumbrados pela fama e a importância dos jogadores profissionais, evidenciadas pela mídia esportiva e presentes na sociedade brasileira, estes garotos passam a buscar o mesmo para si, sem saber dos riscos e dificuldades que a carreira pode oferecer. Muitos deles esquecem-se da vida escolar e, caso não tenham sucesso na carreira profissional futebolística - o que acontece com a maioria, correm sérios riscos de ficarem marginalizados perante a sociedade. Este trabalho busca mostrar a visão de jovens que já estiveram envolvidos no universo das categorias de base do futebol e não prosseguiram no esporte, mas souberam priorizar os estudos e ter uma profissão alternativa. Evaluation of the cervical vertebrae maturation index in lateral cephalograms taken in different head positions

The aim of this study was to evaluate if upward or downward head inclination might interfere with determination of the growth stage, using cervical vertebrae maturation index (CVMI), in order to verify the accuracy of such diagnosis when radiographs are taken with errors. Forty-nine patients, 26 females and 23 males, aged 9 to 15 years, were submitted to 3 lateral cephalograms: normal (NHP), with 15° upward head inclination (NHP-Up), and with 15° downward head inclination (NHP-Down). Three examiners evaluated the CVMI on the 147 cephalograms. The agreement among examiners was higher in the evaluation of cephalograms taken in NHP. The weighted Kappa test revealed moderate to substantial agreement between NHP and NHP-Up and between NHP and NHP-Down. There was greater agreement between NHP-Up and NHP-Down. It may be concluded that the evaluation of the CVMI on cephalograms in NHP is different as compared with radiographs taken with inclinations. Both NHP-Up and NHP-Down exhibited greater disagreement in the interpretation among examiners, since the evaluation method was not designed for cephalograms with positioning errors.

Cultural events are changing significantly since the arrival of Web 2.0, where the company now has the ability to interact with the content available on the Internet, and also produce their own channels of media content. Among the existing manifestations, stands out by a bias folk-communicational, content production Comics, which consists in the narrative reconstruction of existing audiovisual products, making the author of the new work in an agent folkcommunicational. This article presents new perspectives on the issue, proposing a new reading of the mediations folk-communicational from transmedia storytelling.

Caracterização geofísica no Gabro Santa Catarina, São Sepé (RS)

Geophysical methods are widely used in mineral exploration for several types of mineral deposits. When combined with direct studies as geochemistry, a substantial increase in the probability of ore discovery is possible in mineral exploration activities. Electrical geophysical methods are particularly promising in studies related to the search of sulphides due to the contrast of physical properties electric resistivity and chargeability. This paper presents the results obtained from the application of Resistivity (DC) and Induced Polarization methods, through the electrical profiling technique, aiming at evaluating the potential mineral of a gabbro intruded in a metasedimentary sequence, in an area where several occurrences of gold and copper were described. This gabbro is ranked on the Basic-Ultrabasic stratiform bodies, which gather peridotites, gabbros, and layered anortosites. Three radial lines of electrical profiling were performed, spaced of 60° and crossing at the area center, with readings of electric resistivity and chargeability in Wenner-Schlumberger array. The association of low resistivity and high chargeability areas has allowed defining potentially mineralized zones related to structures that condition the drainage net in the gabbro domain. Grains of gold detected through geochemical prospection of alluvial sediments dowstream from the gabbro may have originated from leaching of ores deposited in fractures through the action of river waters within the gabbro domain, possibly consisting of sulphides and gold.

The incipient but quickly expansion action on the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in Africa it is now just having different impact on these societies. One of these relates bear on how users are identified with these tools. Just like that we find individuals identify as bloggers, twitter followers or cyber activist. This contribution analyzes the Senegal’s fact where a successful use of social nets and web 2.0 tools experience (at least in repercussion) as social and political involvement while presidential elections in 2012 is tied to come back an identity: Cyber activist. Senegalese circumstance shows us how this identity has a personal and assertiveness dimension as well collective aspects of belonging to a community. One as much as the other, show us personal traits in contrast to previous beliefs, basically because it fuse and confuse virtual and reality. Due to dynamics from expanding technology, this identity is youthful and urban, but not only. This situation creates new dynamics at least in this affected group. For this reason, besides knowing emergence and evolution of this fact, it raises some of the involvement in social and political involvement from groups traditionally “invisible”. Beyond the new social behavior there are new changes in the rules of the game in order to start new social revolution.

A continuidade contemporânea do pensamento de Georg Simmel: a compreensão da dinâmica conflitiva e dos fluxos nos processos de individualização na primeira modernidade e suas consequências sócio-culturais na modernidade reflexiva de Ulrich Beck

This thesis attempts to comprehend, through the work of Georg Simmel and Ulrich Beck, two distinct phases of modernity through the concept of individualism and individualization processes arising therefrom. A substantial formulation of the concept that remits to the conceptual transposition unscathed from one reality to another is not the main focus of this study. This is about, in advance, two distinct realities, conceptual and comparative examination that aims to weave the points pertaining to echoes - internalized and modified according to the complexity of the historical premises - the thought of Simmel in theoretical perspective of Beck. The forms can be characterized as individualism according to the socio-philosophical mores of Simmel in the intention to understand the forms assumed by individualism in modern history, as well as the derived individualization processes sustained by individual law. Therewith, is intended to transpose the optical analysis of contemporary Ulrich Beck and reap, through conceptual analysis, the points that refer to the influence and continuity of thought of Georg Simmel
