This paper is the result of a research developed in one of the subgroups of the Project Toward a History of “Paulista” Portuguese which focuses on the investigation of the “Diachrony of the constitutive processes of the text”. The aim of this research is to study the Portuguese item assim in the parenthesis contexts using specifically the letter Discursive Tradition in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Focusing on the Textual Interactive theory/perspective, the main purpose is to proceed with a qualitative analysis of the functionality of assim in the process of textual construction.

Um enfoque diacrônico de assim no domínio da junção

This study proposes, based on Halliday (1985) and Raible (1992, 2001), that the interpropositional patterns of assim are distributed in continuum, which is set among the representative usages of different types of interdependency, starting from the examples of domination relations of parataxis up to the examples of hypotatics, passing through the ones that are between the poles of the continuum. We will exemplify this paperwork starting from the functioning of the phrase assim que, describing its syntactic and semantic behavior in the selected corpus and in an evidence analysis of the linguistic changing process through grammaticalization, which infers its functioning as a secular connector in order to indicate its position held by this pattern in the continuum.

Multifuncionalidade e (inter)subjetivização: a gramaticalização de assim

Este artigo estuda os usos de assim, com o objetivo de descrever seu comportamento sintático, semântico e pragmático à luz dos pressupostos teóricos da gramaticalização, entendida como parte do estudo linguístico que focaliza a mudança que se dá a partir de um processo gradual de pragmatização do significado, que envolve estratégias de caráter inferencial, que aumentam a informação pragmática, e estratégias metafóricas, que acarretam a abstratização (TRAUGOTT, 1982, 1995). Sugere-se uma trajetória unidirecional que parte do proposicional ao textual e à (inter)subjetivização, relativa ao fato de que os falantes desenvolvem significados novos para lexemas já existentes.

Human beings' motor capacity development is essential, because it facilitates movement, enabling the performance of motor activities and others. In pre-school, boys and girls acquire the motor capacity development considered basic that, through several factors such as neurological maturation, which is in charge of providing more complete movements, and body growth, which has the goal of a better body domain, makes them improve individually the performance of motor abilities, but it can minimize them if laterality does not develop spontaneously. There by, this study focused on assessing the neurological development between genders of students engaging in fundamental school. Forty-three children of both genders at age six took part in this study. The evaluation occurred through the LEFÉVRE protocol (1976), which aims at assessing the maturity and development of the Nervous System through tests of the Evolutionary Neurological Exam (ENE), which comprises a series of tests involving specific tasks, regarding age in the static balance items, dynamic balance, appendicular coordination, trunk-member coordination, motor persistency, sensibility and synkinesis. Neurological development comparisons were performed between boys and girls for each item of the battery of tests. The results of the motor persistency and sensitiveness and sensorial activity tests were below the average for six-year-old children, but there was not any difference in gender comparison for each item of the battery of tests, only a small tendency for one of the genders, but meaningless, having a variance in only two tests of the synkinesis exam (Foot-hand and paper ball with the dominant hand), in which boys had a bigger percentage of synkinesis presence than girls did. Plano Munucipal de saúde: análise do instrumento de gestão

Among planning instruments used by manager instances of Brazilian Health System it pointed the Health Municipal Plan (PMS) that should be built collectively showing political intentions, directresses, priorities, objectives, goals framework, estimative of resources and need costs to get the goals of the health sector. The aim of this work was to analyze the plans in relation to attendance of legal requirements which manage the Brazilian Health System, its constitution and showing of essential items. The study included three municipalities form São Paulo State. It was used the documental analysis as research technique. Near all plans showed an analysis of situation with detailed descriptions of general situation of municipality, and only one of them realized critical analysis of their epidemiological data; the financial income applied on health was decrypted by only one municipality. About programming, all municipalities described the main problems and its solutions. Although they had goals framework, the question about cost estimative to get the goals was not approached. Any municipality showed an annual review, being one of them delayed over than two years. It was observed no participation of Municipal Health Council on elaboration and review of plans. It was concluded that there was a deficiency in the plans analyzed. It’s necessary to execute continuing education with managers in relation to importance of systematic elaboration of plans and to incentive the promotion of active participation of Municipal Health Council promotion of aiming to became true the social control of health actions.

Implantes pós-exodônticos: relato de caso

With the search for treatments faster and aesthetic improvement of materials and surgical techniques, immediate implants have become a clinical reality increasingly practiced. Thus, based on literature the specific purpose of this study was to address critically the concepts of immediate implants, discussing issues related to dental extraction, milling technique, care of the periodontal tissues support and protection, prosthetic replacement, benefits, indications and contraindications. To this end, from Pubmed electronic crawler Medline, 54 articles published between 1990 and 2009, over 4 items classics, all in English were selected. The Studies have shown success rates for this technique Conventional techniques like two-stage surgery, many different techniques and planning are present among these techniques, and implants more immediate subject to failures.
